Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang diusulkan berikut ini bermitra dengan Kampung KB Balabatu, Kecamatan Buntao, Rantepao, Toraja Utara sebagai Mitra sasaran masyarakat yang tidak produktif secara ekonomi. Tujuan Pelaksanaan  program PKM ini yaitu untuk menyelesaikan rangkaian permasalahan pedagogis dan teknologi pada Mitra Sasaran terkait penyediaan bahan atau Materi ajar berbasis Website. Permasalahan yang menjadi fokus pada PKM ini berangkat dari temuan pada studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan pada awal tahun 2021. Adapun permasalahan yang dimaksud antara lain: (a) belum tersedianya  materi ajar  Digital yang berorientasi pada Mitra Sasaran.  Solusi  yang akan ditawarkan dalam rangka pemecahan permasalahan mitra melalui PKM ini antara lain: (a) Pelatihan digitalisasi Bahan ajar bagi Kelompok BKR. Metode Pelaksanaan dari program PKM ini antara lain: (a) sosialisasi pengenalan gaya belajar dan desain materi Ajar berbasis websie (b) pelatihan yang meliputi kegiatan: (1) Pelatihan digitalisasi bahan ajar (c) Pendampingan meliputi (1) desain materi ajar berbasis Digital, serta (d) Evaluasi Keterlaksanan  Program. Adapun hasil dari PKM ini yaitu Tersedianya Bahan ajar bagi BKR di Kampung KB Bala Batu  Abstract. The following proposed Pengabdian Kepada Masyrakat (PKM) will partner with Balabatu KB Village, Buntao District, Rantepao, North Toraja as Partners targeting economically unproductive communities. The purpose of implementing this PKM program is to solve a series of pedagogical and technological problems in Target Partners related to the provision of Website-based teaching materials or materials. The focus issues of this PKM depart from the findings in a preliminary study conducted in early 2021. The issues include (a) the unavailability of Digital teaching materials oriented toward Target Partners. The solutions to solve partners' problems through this PKM include: (a) Training on digitizing teaching materials for the BKR Group. The implementation method of this PKM program includes: (a) socialization of the introduction of learning styles and the design of web-based teaching materials that are oriented towards student learning styles; (b) training which includes the following activities: (1) Training on digitizing teaching materials (c) Assistance includes (1) Digital-based material design, and (d) Program Implementation Evaluation. The result of this PKM is the provision of teaching materials for BKR in Kampung KB Bala Batu.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang diusulkan tahun anggaran 2022 bermitra dengan PPGT (Persekutuan Pemuda Gereja Toraja) Tallunglipu sebagai salah satu kelompok bentukan organisasi kepemudaan Gereja Toraja sebagai mitra yang bergerak di bidang kerohanian, dengan kegiatan dibidang kerohanian dan bidang sosial kemasyarakatan. PPGT Jemaat Tallunglipu ini berlokasi di Tallunglipu, kecamatan tallunglipu, kabupaten toraja utara, sulawesi selatan dengan jumlah anggota 600 orang. Permasalahan yang dihadapi ppgt adalah (a) belum adanya program preventif  penyalagunaan narkoba bagi ppgt di jemaat Tallunglipu. Solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi terkait masivenya pengruh narkoba yakni; (a) mengadakan sosialisasi pencegahan penyalagunaan narkoba bagi ppgt di jemaat Tallunglipu. Metode atau kegiatan untuk menyelesaikan masalah mitra akan dilaksanakan melalui langkah langkah sebagai berikut: (a) sosialisai program dan penyuluhan dengan menghadirkan anggota ppgt sebagai mitra dan pengurus jemaat; Luaran yang ditargetkan pada program pkm ini adalah luaran mitra, luaran  wajib dan luaran tambahan. Luaran mitra yang akan dihasilkan pada program ini adalah (a) terciptanya penguatan mental dan spiritual berdasarkan nilai nilai kristiani bagi (PPGT) di jemaat tallunglipu dalam pencegahan penyalagunaan narkoba.  Abstract. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) proposed for the 2022 fiscal year is partnering with PPGT (Toraja Church Youth Association) Tallunglipu as one of the groups formed by the Toraja Church's youth organization as partners engaged in the spiritual field, with activities in the spiritual and social fields. PPGT Tallunglipu Congregation is located in Tallunglipu, Tallunglipu District, North Toraja Regency, South Sulawesi with 600 members. The problems faced by ppgt are (a) there is no drug abuse preventive program for ppgt in the Tallunglipu congregation. The solution to solving the problems faced is related to the massive drug influence, namely; (a) holding socialization on prevention of drug abuse for ppgt in the Tallunglipu congregation. Methods or activities to solve partners' problems will be carried out through the following steps: (a) program socialization and counseling by presenting PPGT members as partners and church administrators; The outputs targeted at this PKM program are partner outputs, mandatory outputs and additional outputs. The partners' outputs that will be produced in this program are (a) the creation of mental and spiritual strengthening based on Christian values for (PPGT) in the Talunglipu congregation in preventing drug abuse. outputs targeted at this PKM program are partner outputs, mandatory outputs and additional outputs. Abstract

Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan di Jemaat Kanuruan, Lembang Nonogan, Toraja Utara. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini  yaitu 31 orang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan 3 kali dalam seminggu selama 2 bulan. Kegiatan PKM ini disambut baik oleh warga jemaat dan sangat mendukung kegiatan ini. Jemaat  juga ikut memfasilitasi kegiatan ini dengan menyiapkan tempat kegiatan  dan Mendorong anak sekolah minggu untuk mengikuti kegiatan ini. Adapun proses pembelajaran menggunakan game offline berbasis aplikasi android.  Adapun hasil kegiatan ini yaitu meningkatnya motivasi peserta untuk belajar bahasa inggris, meningkatnya kemampuan berbahasa bahasa inggris seiring dengan meningkatnya kosakata mereka setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Ada perbedaan nilai rata-rata yang cukup jauh sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti latihan dari lima aspek yang dinilai. Nilai kosakata meningkat dari nilai rata sebelum pelatihan yaitu 30 meningkat menjadi 83,3 setalah mengikuti pelatihan, Speaking juga mengalami peningkatan dari 36,6 menjadi 86,6, kemudian nilai grammar dari 23,3 meningkat menjadi 80,  sementara nilai reading 30 meningkat menjadi 80.  Abstract. This PKM activity was held at the Kanuruan Congregation, Lembang Nonogan, North Toraja. The number of participants who took part in this activity were 31 people. This activity was carried out 3 times a week for 2 months. This PKM activity was welcomed by the congregation members and very supportive of this activity. The congregation also facilitated this activity by preparing the activity site and encouraging Sunday school children to take part in this activity. The learning process uses offline games based on Android applications. The results of this activity are increasing the motivation of participants to learn English, increasing their ability to speak English along with increasing their vocabulary after attending the training. There is a significant difference in the average score before and after taking part in the five aspects assessed. Vocabulary scores increased from the average score before the training, which was 30, increased to 83.3 after attending the training. Speaking also increased from 36.6 to 86.6, then grammar scores increased from 23.3 to 80, while reading scores increased from 30 to 80

Abstract

Rapid advances in artificial intelligence (AI) have opened up new possibilities in various fields, and education is no exception. Traditional one-size-fits-all teaching methods are gradually being replaced by personalized learning experiences made possible through AI technology. This article explores how AI is revolutionizing education by tailoring the learning experience to individual students' needs, increasing engagement, and improving overall learning outcomes. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method by utilizing questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation in data collection. The results of the questionnaire related to the Importance of AI in Learning, obtained data that 88% of students strongly agree, 9% agree, 2% disagree, and 1% strongly disagree about the importance of AI in helping learning. The results of the questionnaire related to AI as an Alternative to Self-Learning, obtained data that 74% of students strongly agree, 7% agree, 14% disagree, and 5% strongly disagree about AI as an alternative to independent learning. The results of the questionnaire related to AI becoming Virtual Tutors and Smart Assistants, obtained data that 88% of students strongly agree, 9% agree, 2% disagree, and 1% strongly disagree about AI as being able to be used as a virtual teacher or intelligent assistant. The results of the questionnaire related to AI can replace teachers / lecturers, data were obtained that 11% of students strongly agreed, 9% agreed, 23% disagreed, and 57% strongly disagreed regarding AI can replace teachers / lecturers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of digital literacy on the learning outcomes of students of the Educational Technology study program at the Indonesian Christian University of Toraja. Research is a quantitative research type of experiment. This research was conducted at the Indonesian Christian University of Toraja Education Technology Study Program. The sample of this study is all Educational Technology students class of 2021 consisting of 49 students. The total number of samples used was 49 students, using non-random sampling techniques. The results of this study used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using SPSS 22. The results obtained in this study that in the use of digital literacy of students in producing learning is very releva. From the results of this research, it can be stated that it is significant for student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Toraja Utara dalam merancang bahan ajar digital yang efektif dan menarik. Pendidikan di era digital menuntut guru untuk memahami dan menguasai alat-alat desain grafis dan teknologi pendidikan guna mengoptimalkan pembelajaran. Pendekatan pengabdian ini melibatkan serangkaian sosialisasi dan pelatihan bagi guru-guru SMA dalam penggunaan perangkat lunak desain grafis, alat pembuatan konten e-learning, dan strategi pendidikan berbasis teknologi. Workshop, diskusi, dan pelatihan langsung menjadi sarana utama dalam transfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada para pendidik. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merancang bahan ajar digital yang lebih menarik dan efektif. Guru-guru menjadi lebih percaya diri dalam menggunakan alat-alat desain grafis dan teknologi pendidikan untuk menciptakan konten pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Dampak positif juga terlihat dalam peningkatan minat belajar siswa dan hasil pembelajaran yang lebih baik. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi positif dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat SMA, menghadirkan inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran, dan membantu guru dalam memenuhi tuntutan era pendidikan digital. Melalui upaya ini, diharapkan guru-guru di SMA dapat lebih siap menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era digital dan menginspirasi siswa untuk mencapai potensi terbaik mereka.  Abstract. This community service aims to improve the ability of teachers in Senior High Schools (SMA) North Toraja to design effective and attractive digital teaching materials. Education in the digital era requires teachers to understand and master graphic design tools and educational technology to optimize learning. This service approach involves a series of socialization and training for high school teachers in the use of graphic design software, e-learning content creation tools, and technology-based education strategies. Workshops, discussions, and hands-on training were the main means of transferring knowledge and skills to the educators. The results of this service showed an increase in teachers' ability to design more attractive and effective digital teaching materials. Teachers became more confident in using graphic design tools and educational technology to create quality learning content. Positive impacts are also seen in increased student learning interest and better learning outcomes. This service aims to make a positive contribution to improving the quality of education at the high school level, bringing innovation to the learning process, and assisting teachers in meeting the demands of the digital education era. Through these efforts, it is hoped that high school teachers can be better prepared to face the challenges of education in the digital era and inspire students to achieve their best potential.
