Abstract

Kemampuan kreativitas anak sangat berkaitan dengan kegiatan pengembangan motorik anak, serta dapat mencakup banyak aspek yang ditingkatkan, seperti aspek kognitif, sosial emosional, bahasa, dan seni. Pada penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti di TK Kecamatan Kabuh dengan metode PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). Analisis bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui meningkatnya kreativitas anak dengan kegiatan origami pada usia 5-6 Tahun di Kelompok B semester I. Perbaikan dilakukan dengan dua siklus, pada satu siklus terdapat lima pertemuan atau lima Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran. Perbaikan pada siklus terdiri dalam 4 tahap, yaitu rencana perencanaan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, pengamatan, dan hasil refleksi. Penelitian bersubyek pada anak usia 5-6 Tahun dengan jumlah 22 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode penelitian yang dterapkan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil meningkatnya kreativitas anak dengan menggunakan kegiatan origami yang diterapkan, menghasilkan peningkatan pada setiap perkembangan masing-masing siklus, dengan rata-rata pada pra siklus kreativitas anak 32%, siklus I 59%, dan siklus II 77,2%.

Abstract

Minimnya pembiasaan literasi di MI Raden Rahmat Desa Mangunan akibat keterbatasan fasilitas menjadi permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat oleh Mahasiswa KKM Tematik Universitas Darul ‘Ulum Jombang ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan program sudut baca sebagai sarana peningkatan minat baca siswa. Sasaran kegiatan adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas 1 hingga kelas 6 dengan jumlah 122 anak di MI Raden Rahmat Mangunan. Metode yang digunakan bersifat partisipatif dengan melibatkan masyarakat dan pihak sekolah dalam setiap tahapan pelaksanaannya. Program sudut baca dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap, yaitu: (1) observasi dan musyawarah untuk memahami kebutuhan serta potensi siswa dan sekolah, (2) perencanaan program berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan musyawarah dengan melibatkan pihak sekolah, (3) pelaksanaan program secara kolaboratif melalui implementasi rencana yang telah disusun dengan partisipasi masyarakat, dan (4) diskusi kelompok untuk mengevaluasi serta merumuskan rekomendasi perbaikan. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan jumlah siswa yang aktif membaca, dari 78 siswa (64%) pada hari pertama menjadi 106 siswa (87%) pada hari kelima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa program sudut baca efektif dalam menumbuhkan minat baca siswa. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan program ini perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan dukungan berkelanjutan, misalnya melalui keterlibatan siswa dalam pengelolaan sudut baca dan penerapan jadwal membaca rutin agar tercipta lingkungan belajar yang kondusif serta kebiasaan membaca yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to delineate the framework and content of an empowerment strategy that integrates Trisula ideals and is based on the KIPAS framework, with the intention of fostering student resilience. In addition, the purpose of this study is to assess, from a KIPAS standpoint, the impact of the empowerment strategy that incorporates Trisula values in fostering greater resilience among students. The stages of this model for research and development were modified from those of Borg and Gall. The student resilience scale is utilized by the instrument that measures student resilience. In the implementation phase, eight junior high school students from the Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Indonesia participated as research subjects. For the purpose of evaluating products, format and model assessment sheets are utilized. Expert evaluation data on format and content were analyzed utilizing Aiken's Value analysis. The findings of the study indicate that the structure and substance of the empowerment approach, which incorporates Trisula values as viewed through the lens of KIPAS, are suitable for assisting students in developing resilience. Additionally, it was deemed a success that this research product assisted students in developing resilience. Further recommendations for future researchers are to broaden the range of subjects included in effectiveness testing, thereby enabling the application of model products beyond Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian mahasiswa ini melibatkan pendampingan dalam memberikan psikoedukasi tentang dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap kesehatan mental. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan prikoedukasi ini, penggunaan gadget dapat menjadi lebih bijaksana. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah remaja posyandu dan anggota IPPNU di Desa Dukuhmojo, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 22 orang. Pendampingan dilakukan melalui metode ceramah yang disertai sesi tanya jawab. Ceramah digunakan untuk menjelaskan tentang dampak intensitas penggunaan gadget terhadap kesehatan mental, sementara sesi tanya jawab memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta untuk berkonsultasi mengenai topik tersebut. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah waktu liburan anggota IPPNU, sehingga sulit mengumpulkan semua perwakilan IPPNU secara optimal. Kesimpulannya, pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan cara mengatasi seringnya penggunaan gadget dapat menambah wawasan baru bagi remaja posyandu dan anggota IPPNU di Desa Dukuhmojo.

Abstract

Bullying is often interpreted as part of aggressive behavior. This aggressivebehavior is also caused by elementary school children's difficulty in regulating their emotions. Elementary school education is a particular focus because it is the level of education that experiences the most cases of bullying and violence. The psychoeducation program “Me and My Emotions: Learning to Manage Feelings and Behave Well at School” was conducted as a community service with the aim of increasing students' knowledge of emotional regulation skills as a means of preventing bullying behavior among 6th grade students at SDN 1 Curahmalang. The results of this effort show that psychoeducation provides significant benefits for participants. Of the 36 students who were given post-test questions, the results show that psychoeducation had a positive impact on participants. From these results, it can be concluded that psychoeducation hasan impact on good emotion management. In addition, students also showed an increase in understanding about bullying and efforts to improve emotional regulation as a preventive measure against bullying, both from the perpetrators and victims.

Abstract

Pre-service teachers experience public speaking anxiety as a significant psychological and academic barrier when exposed to teaching practicums. The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Systematic Desensitization Group Counseling with Guided Imagery support in reducing pre-service teachers’ public speaking anxiety. The study was a true experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design. Thirty students who had high levels of anxiety were randomly assigned to an experimental group (n=6) and a control group (n=6). Data were collected by using the adapted Indonesian version of the Personal Report of Public Speaking Anxiety (PRPSA) instrument. Data analysis was performed using the Independent Sample T-Test and Effect Size calculation. The results of the analysis revealed a very significant difference between the experimental and control groups in decreasing the anxiety score (p < 0.001). Calculation of effect size using Cohen’s d resulted in a value of 0.991, which is very large. In summary, the modified guided imagery group counseling intervention of systematic desensitization was highly effective and had a massive impact on suppressing students’ physiological and cognitive anxiety responses. The findings of these studies indicate that the Guidance and Counseling units of universities employ this intervention as a standard mental preparation programme for students before they proceed for teaching practicum
