Abstract

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and Financial Performance on Company Value. The samples included in this study comprised of companies that were listed in the KOMPAS100 index for the period spanning from 2017 to 2021. The sampling methodology employed in this study was the use of simple random sampling, resulting in a sample size of 40 companies. The employed analytical framework is multiple linear regression analysis, enabled by the application of SPSS software. The findings of this study indicate that the variables of GCG (Good Corporate Governance), CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), ERM (Enterprise Risk Management), and Financial Performance collectively exert a substantial and favorable impact on the value of a company. To a certain extent, the variables of GCG (Good Corporate Governance) and Financial Performance exhibit a notable and favorable influence on the valuation of a company. Conversely, the factors of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) do not show a statistically significant impact on the magnitude of Company Value. Thus, investors may take into account the inclusion of data pertaining to a company's Good Corporate Governance (GCG) policies and Financial Performance when making investment choices. Company management must acknowledge the significance of implementing efficacious corporate governance processes and augmenting financial performance as strategic measures to enhance the value of the organization.

Abstract

The concept of work engagement is of paramount importance for organizations, since it represents the degree of emotional connection and dedication that employees exhibit towards their work. This phenomenon is distinguished by the manifestation of affirmative energy, fervor, unwavering focus, and a perception of being motivated while engaging in designated duties. The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of work engagement at PT SPSR and see if it is influenced by workload or work discipline. This study is classified as a population study as it has a sample size of 56 permanent employees from PT SPSR who were selected as research respondents. Data is collected through the administration of questionnaires using the Google Form platform. The chosen analytical approach involves the utilization of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the implementation of the SmartPLS 4 methodology. The utilization of this approach can be attributed to the constrained pool of participants and the need to streamline the procedure by eliminating the need for traditional assumption testing. The results suggest that there exists a non-significant and inverse correlation between workload and work engagement. On the contrary, there exists a robust and statistically significant correlation between work discipline and job engagement.

Abstract

The generation of the "echo boomers" or the Millennials is known for their tendency of changing job. They have an intense yearning for professional development and advancement. The features of the previous generation are not the same as the traits of the echo-boomers. They are quick to jump ship if workplace stress begins to negatively impact their mental health and they see opportunities elsewhere to advance their careers. However, it is understood that a person with even average emotional intelligence may plan out each and every one of their major choices. The researchers wanted to know if and how burnout and professional progress influenced job-hopping in the age of remote labor, which is mediated by emotional intelligence. The data was gathered through a survey administered to 142 echo-boomers at DKI Jakarta. Analyses using the MRA (Modified Regression Analysis) tool found that both burnout and career development positively and significantly impacted job hopping. While career development can mitigate the impact of job hopping on emotional intelligence, emotional intelligence cannot moderate the impact of burnout on job hopping.
