Abstract

Existing waste management policy in Ponorogo Regency has not been able to achieve the expected target. Understanding the dynamics of the process is necessary to evaluate the current policy for further improvement. Therefore, this study aims to develop a system dynamic model to evaluate the waste management performance in Ponorogo Regency. This study uses Dynamic System Simulation Design to model the waste management through Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) and Stock Flow Diagram (SFD). This research relies on primary data and secondary data, to develop a model that includes 50 variables across three subsystems: Waste Generation, Waste Management, and Waste Management Costs. The simulation results show four waste management scenarios: Business as Usual (BaU), Education Improvement, Facility Improvement, and a Moderate Combined Education-Facility. The Moderate Combined scenario is selected as the best recommendation, which is projected to achieve 94% waste management by 2026, with high investment level but positive long-term impacts. In addition, simultaneous improvements in facilities and public education are necessary to effectively address the waste management issues in Ponorogo, with a focus on enhancing infrastructure and increasing public participation.Keywords - Causal Loop Diagram, Simulation, Stock Flow Diagram, Waste Management.

Abstract

Abstract— Mie Ayam Bakso Sarangan, a culinary businessfrom Bekasi specializing in chicken noodles and handmademeatballs, has been operating for over three years. However, ithas recently faced a steady decline in sales and revenue due toseveral challenges: a lack of sales system optimization,insufficient marketing efforts, inadequate procurement ofsupporting facilities, changes in the business environment, andincreased competition in the same field. To address theseissues, a comprehensive evaluation of the business model isessential, leading to the design of a new, more effectivebusiness strategy using the Business Model Canvas (BMC)method. The proposed redesign will begin by gathering keydata from various sources. The current business model will beassessed through interviews and observations with the owner,allowing us to map the nine blocks of the BMC. In addition,customer profiles will be developed through market segmentsurveys to better understand consumer behavior andpreferences. Information on the business environment will becollected through online research and literature studies. ASWOT analysis will then be conducted to identify strengths,weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, guiding theformulation of a strategic plan for improvement. From theseinsights, a new BMC will be designed, introducing innovationsand enhancements to each block. This approach aims torevitalize Mie Ayam Bakso Sarangan's operations, ensuring itscompetitiveness in the market and driving business growth. Abstract

Fibo School is a learning management system product based on Artificial Intelligence technology. Since its launch until now, the number of users of Fibo School products is still very low. The root causes of the low number of users are human resources, products, promotions, and processes and partnerships. One way to overcome these problems is to evaluate and design a proposed business model using the Business Model Canvas. The required data are existing business model data, customer profile data, and business environment data. Evaluation of the existing business model is done by analyzing 7 questions and SWOT analysis to get a proposed strategy. Some of the proposed improvements are focusing its market segmentation to private educational institutions in West Java Province and Special Region of Jakarta, creating materials and learner evaluations according to the curriculum, providing a variety of subscription packages, and building partnerships to help product development and marketing. In addition, a financial simulation was conducted to calculate the financial impact of the proposed business model changes. If an increase of 25 customers can be obtained in the first year after the implementation of the proposed business model, with a 20% increase in sales in the following year, then the business model change will provide an IRR value greater than the MARR of 11.30% and an NPV value greater than zero.

Abstract

NYFORU is a business that focuses on fan collections and K-pop merchandise at affordable prices since 2020. Products offered include sticker collection, keychain collection, phone case and griptok collection, and photocard holder collection. In the last three years, turnover has decreased, with 2023 revenue of Rp. 96,967,463, down 33.4% from 2022. The causes are limited human resources, lack of product variety, and not optimal promotion. To overcome this, a business model design and evaluation using Business Model Canvas was conducted. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and literature studies, then analyzed using SWOT. The results showed three priority improvement blocks: customer segment, value propositions, and channels. Proposed improvements include Shopee export, adding artist variations, and strengthening channel X. Financial simulations show that this business model change is feasible.

Abstract

Indonesia is the world's third largest cocoa producer, leading to the high potential for cocoa processing and conversion to downstream industries. However, the downstream production of cocoa processing only reaches low utilization, around 40%. This problem also happens to UKM Ibunmanis in Bandung, which often fails to meet consumer demand. We have done a study to overcome this problem, aiming to make suggestions to improve production process technology,  to increase production capacity and ability to meet consumer demand. Here, we used Soft System Methodology (SSM) to provide solutions to the problems. The SSM consists of seven stages: Problem identification, Rich Picture Diagram, Root Cause Analysis coupled with CATWOE analysis, conceptual model activities (9 model activities), debating, improvement suggestions, and implementation. The results indicate that the transformation process carried out is in the form of processing chocolate bars into downstream products, with the limitation being conventional technology, which has model activities for designing appropriate technology for critical processing processes in UKM. Implementing the appropriate technology can speed up the production process from 30 minutes to 7 minutes or increase process efficiency by 77%. In addition, suggestions resulting from the method for the melting process can gain more profits and increase the sustainability of the SMEs

Abstract

Salah Satu UMKM yang dimiliki ialah Aura Mart. UMKM tersebut berasal dari Kota Padang. Aura Mart bergerak dibidang Food and Beverage dan juga alat penunjang kebutuhan dapur. Perannya dalam lingkungan ialah memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat ialah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pribadi hingga rumah tangga. Dalam penerapan bisnisnya, target penjualan dari Aura Mart tidak pernah memenuhi target yang diinginkan. Strategi yang dilakukan Aura Mart dalam memasarkan produknya saat ini hanya secara mulut ke mulut. Akibat persaingan yang tinggi dan strategi yang tidak tepat mengakibatkan target penjualan dari Aura Mart tidak tercapai. Aura Mart melakukan analisis menggunakan Metode QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) merupakan sebuah instrumen yang digunakan untuk melakukan evaluasi alternatif secara obyektif. Tujuan utamanya adalah menilai daya tarik relatif dari berbagai tindakan alternatif yang layak, dan membantu dalam menentukan strategi terbaik. Hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini terdapat lima alternatif strategi yang akan segera diimplementasikan diantaranya Membuat akun di platform marketplace seperti Shopee/Bukalapak, Menambah beberapa produk lokal atau UMKM sebagai variasi tambahan dengan harga relatif murah, Menambah karyawan untuk bagian pemasaran, Menyediakan merek produk yang sering diinginkan konsumen, Menambahkan sistem delivery order dengan free di minimum jarak tertentu. Abstract

This Indibiz is a digital service aimed at micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. This service provides consistent and high-quality internet connectivity to support various MSME businesses. Indibiz is designed to offer affordable internet, helping to reduce operational costs and boost MSME productivity in the digital era. However, over the past year, Indibiz has not met its sales targets. The main cause is that Indibiz has yet to fully meet the desired customer profile. To address this, the author designed a Value Proposition Canvas by collecting data on Indibiz's services, customer profiles, and competitor products through observation, literature review, and interviews with 10 MSMEs. These data were used to create a customer profile and value map for Indibiz's products. A strategy canvas analysis and ERRC framework were applied to develop a new Value Proposition Canvas. The proposed solution includes adding an all-in-one MSME digitalization package, bundling digital marketing services, and offering a sales guarantee for each digitalization service purchase.

Abstract

Banija Jatu is an individual company engaged in the herbal management industry located at Jl. Ibrahin Adjie No. 16, Indihiang, Tasikmalaya City. Currently, Banija Jatu Company is faced with an increasing number of complaints over the past five years. Meanwhile, the performance measurement that is owned only pays attention to the financial aspect and is not comprehensive to overcome these problems. Based on this, the company needs to formulate performance measurements that pay attention to financial and non-financial aspects. One of the performance measurement methods is the Balanced Scorecard which pays attention to four perspectives in the company. The design of the performance measurement itself begins by considering the internal and external conditions of the company through the SWOT method to formulate a strategy based on the company's vision and mission. From the strategy is derived into strategic goals which are then formulated Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Each level of importance is weighted on each indicator using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The perspective that has the greatest weight is the customer perspective with a percentage of 48.4%. The last stage is the preparation of a performance measurement table

Abstract

The quality of Indonesia's higher education institutions has not excelled compared to Southeast Asiancountries such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Based on 2020 data, the percentage of highereducation institutions in Indonesia that have been accredited is 59%. It is crucial to evaluate andimprove the factors that affect the quality of higher education institutions based on the student'sperspective, the primary customer of higher education institutions. This study aims to evaluate thequality of higher education institutions based on students' satisfaction in real-time. Furthermore, thisresearch will propose a design of an information system that can automate the evaluation process. Thefindings of this study can be applied to the existing system, providing information and analysis tosupport the policy-making process.

Abstract

Pick.Up Yuk merupakan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah yang bergerak dalam bidang kuliner. Dalam satu tahun terakhir Usaha Kuliner Pick.Up Yuk mengalami penurunan dari segi pendapatan yang dihasilkan. Hal ini dikarenakan oleh beberapa faktor, seperti pemasaran yang kurang efektif, pembelian hanya bisa dilakukan secara dine-in, dan beberapa masalah dalam produksi seperti keterbatasan tenaga kerja, belum adanya standar waktu pelayanan dan juga biaya pengiriman bahan baku yang mahal. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan adanya evaluasi dari model bisnis yang sudah ada. Dalam penelitian ini evaluasi model bisnis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Business Model Canvas. Beberapa data yang diperlukan untuk mengevaluasi dan merancang model bisnis yaitu data model bisnis saat ini yang didapat melalui wawancara dengan pemilik, data customer profile yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pelanggan Pick.Up Yuk, serta data Business Model Environment yang didapat melalui studi literatur. Data yang telah diperoleh digunakan untuk analisis SWOT dan mengembangkan matriks TOWS, yang menjadi dasar pengembangan Business Model Canvas yang baru. Usulan perubahan yang diajukan antara lain pada blok value proposition yaitu penambahan varian menu baru khas Papua, produk tersertifikasi halal dan produk tersedia dalam kemasan rice bowl. Pada blok channels diusulkan perubahan penggunaan digital marketplace (ShopeeFood, GrabFood, GoFood) dan peningkatan pemanfaatan media sosial yaitu Instagram, TikTok, dan Facebook sehingga dapat memperluas jangkauan pelanggan. Pada blok key resources diusulkan penambahan 1 karyawan dan penambahan alat pemanggang sebanyak 1 unit.Kata kunci: Usaha Kuliner Pick.Up Yuk, Menu Papua, Model Bisnis, Business Model Canvas
