Abstract

This research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru on the grounds that as the capital city of Pekanbaru Riau, Pekanbaru City and has a higher population growth than the other regencies / cities in Riau Province. The purpose of this study is to see how much influence family planning programs in reducing the rate of population growth in the city of Pekanbaru. Methods of data analysis used in this study is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used in this study is the analysis of qualitative data that outlines and interpret the data obtained in the field of the key informants (key informants). In determining the key informant authors choose key informants based characteristics to suit the purposes of research or thought to have information relevant to the subject matter of research. Key informants in this study is the Head of Control Family Planning and Family Welfare BPPMKB Pekanbaru City. This is because the key informant knows and has basic information required in this research. From these results it is concluded that the family planning program in the city of Pekanbaru can be said to demonstrate the success of an effective yet it remains characterized by the increases in population and birth rate. The population of Pekanbaru city in 2011 amounted to 937 939 inhabitants, in 2012 increased to 964 558 people, or an increase of 2.83% on average beat the national population growth of less than 2%. The number of births in 2012 also increased by 1,248 from 18,236 souls soul into soul 19 484, an increase of 6.4% from the previous year.Keywords: Effectiveness, Family Planning, Population Growth

Abstract

The research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru in 2013. This study aims to determine how the image of women in the labor-star hotel in the city of Pekanbaru is viewed from the aspect of education, past work, income, region of origin, and the factors driving women working in five-star hotel in the city Pekanbaru. This study uses primary data collected directly from the respondents on the female labor-star hotel in the city of Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all women in labor-star hotel in the city of Pekanbaru is classified at 3.4 and 5 star hotel that is numbered 511 people. While the sample used in this study amounted to 100 people. Secondary data were obtained from the Department of Culture and Tourism of Pekanbaru, Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Pekanbaru. Engineering data was collected directly by visiting the employment of women in the five-star hotel in the city of Pekanbaru. This study analyzed using descriptive analysis method. Based on the survey results revealed that female employees who worked at the five-star hotel in the city of Pekanbaru seen from the aspect of education, which is dominated workforce education level diploma. Then views of the work, where workers who work at five-star hotel in the city of Pekanbaru has over 5 years experience. Viewed from the aspect of labor income, where the amount of earned income workers who worked at the hotel in Pekanbaru City Star above the minimum wage and depend on the position occupied. From the aspect of the origin, generally derived from the city of Pekanbaru. Then the drivers of women working in five-star hotel in the city of Pekanbaru is the salary offered as expected.Keywords: Woman, Labor, Hotel

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the level of education and investment on the unemployment rate in Riau Province. The type of data used is secondary data, the method of collecting data is the method of documentation. The data used is time series data for the 2006-2019 period. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study are the level of education and investment simultaneously affect the level of increasing unemployment. Partially the level of education has a negative and insignificant effect on the unemployment rate and investment has a negative and significant effect on the unemployment rate.Keyword : Level od education, Investment, unemployment rate

Abstract

The shoe laundry service business is a service needed by the community. This research aims to find out how the strategy for developing a shoe laundry service business in Pekanbaru City. Research location was carried out in all shoe laundry service businesses in Pekanbaru City with a total sample of 13 businesses. Types of data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method used was SWOT analysis and formulated strategies with IFAS and EFAS matrix analysis. The result of this research is that the shoe laundry service business in the city of Pekanbaru is in quadrant 2 (Diversification). The strategy that needs to be applied is ST (strength-treaths), this strategy is made by using the strengths of the business to overcome treaths. In this result, the shoe laundry service business, although facing various threats, still has strength from an internal perspective. On the IFAS matrix (0.24) and on the EFAS matrix (-1.30). ST strategies that need to be implemented include: 1. Good sales ability will certainly have an impact on product specialization, 2. Having good service quality can overcome difficulties in determining market prices.Keywords: Strategic, shoe laundry service business, SWOT

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the impact of Covid 19 on the macroeconomy of Riau Province, including economic growth, investment, public consumption, and inflation in Riau Province and Riau Province government policies to overcome them. This study takes data related to macroeconomics in Riau, uses secondary data. Covid 19 caused a decrease in economic growth compared to the period before Covid 19. Covid 19 did not have a too significant impact on investment in Riau Province. The condition even shows an increase in investment compared to the previous year. Covid 19 caused a significant decrease in public consumption in Riau Province. Covid 19 causes inflationary instability in Riau. The Riau Provincial government's policy in controlling the impact of Covid 19 on the macroeconomic sector is through refocusing as the Covid recovery budget in Riau and supporting the realization of the National Economic Recovery fund budgeted by the Central Government. The government's policy is to ensure the implementation of infrastructure development (toll roads and provincial roads) to support distribution, agricultural incentives, labor-intensive projects, SME assistance, Pre-Employment Cards, and other policies aimed at ensuring economic stability in Riau Province.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis determinan lokasi industri tepung tapioka di Kabupaten Bengkalis. Pendekatan utama dari penelitian ini adalah metode lokasi Weber. Perhitungan titik pusat lokasi industri menggunakan nilai lokasi menggunakan metode statistik Sturgess dan faktor fasilitas akses menggunakan metode gravitasi Hansen. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa lokasi yang dipilih adalah Kecamatan Mandau dan sekitarnya di Kabupaten Bengkalis. Produksi singkong di Kabupaten Mandau, Kabupaten Pinggir, dan Kabupaten Bahtin Solapan sebesar 10.027,68 ton per tahun. Kemudahan memasarkan hasil panen singkong yang dekat dengan pasar memberikan peluang yang besar bagi masyarakat untuk meningkatkan perekonomian di daerah yang akan didirikan pabrik. Weber menjelaskan penentuan lokasi kegiatan industri dalam segitiga lokasi. Menurut teori lokasi, pemilihan lokasi di wilayah Kecamatan Mandau sebagai lokasi pabrik tepung tapioka karena terpenuhinya faktor-faktor pendirian pabrik. seperti bahan baku, tenaga kerja, transportasi, sarana dan prasarana, listrik, faktor kenyamanan seperti pendidikan, kesehatan, pasar, dan perbankan, kemudian kebijakan pemerintah dan aglomerasi, serta fasilitas pendukung lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur pasar, perilaku dan kinerja industri paving block di Kota Pekanbaru. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data sekunder bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kota Pekanbaru. Data primer diperoleh dari kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 10 responden di Kota Pekanbaru. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif melalui pendekatan struktur-perilaku-kinerja. Dalam model ini, variabel yang digunakan adalah pangsa pasar, rasio konsentrasi, IHH, CLR dan PCM. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah industri paving block di Kota Pekanbaru memiliki pangsa pasar tertinggi yaitu 19,672%. Sedangkan pangsa pasar terendah adalah 2,961%. Industri paving block di Kota Pekanbaru memiliki struktur pasar oligopoli. Pelaksanaan industri paving block di Kota Pekanbaru berdasarkan perhitungan CLR menunjukkan bahwa industri ini merupakan industri padat modal. Dan kinerja industri paving block di Kota Pekanbaru berdasarkan perhitungan PCM bahwa keuntungan tidak dipengaruhi oleh kekuatan pangsa pasar. Nilai rata-rata sebesar 57,53%, dimana nilai PCM tertinggi sebesar 77,849% dan terendah sebesar 37,954%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh rata-rata lama sekolah antara laki-laki dan perempuan terhadap tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja di Provinsi Riau. Data yang digunakan adalah data time series untuk periode 2010-2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan menggunakan program SPSS 26. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil bahwa rata-rata lama sekolah laki-laki secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap partisipasi angkatan kerja di Provinsi Riau. Rata-rata lama sekolah perempuan secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja di Provinsi Riau.

Abstract

Pada masa wabah covid-19, banyak pelaku UMKM mengalami kendala. Salah satu UMKM yang masih bertahan hidup di desa Parit Kebumen adalah bisnis yang dapat digolongkan sebagai makanan dan minuman, seperti bubuk kopi. Meskipun ini adalah salah satu UMKM yang dapat bertahan, selama wabah, pendapatan pelaku UMKM mengalami pengurangan karena keterbatasan berupa “ social distancing”. Disaat kondisi yang seperti ini, penduduk desa berinovasi dengan membuat kemasan baru bagi produk untuk dijual dan memasarkannya melalui media online. Tren media online atau penggunaan digital dalam pemasaran saat ini dapat meningkatkan penjualan para pelaku UMKM, termasuk bisnis bubuk kopi di desa Parit Kebumen. Melalui kegiatan yang dilakukan mahasiswa dapat membantu penduduk desa bertahan hidup di era baru yang normal.
