Abstract

Education is crucial for developing human resources and preparing for global competition. Parents play a vital role in this process, significantly influencing and making decisions about their children's education. Thus, educational institutions should consider parents as key customers in choosing schools. The Daarut Tauhiid Rahmatan Lil'Alamin Foundation operates schools at the elementary, middle, high, and vocational levels. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the principal's leadership and teacher motivation influence the level of customer satisfaction at the Daarut Tauhiid Rahmatan Lil'Alamin Foundation. This research uses quantitative methods and data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires whose validity and reliability have been tested. The sample in this research is the parents of students, with the total number of respondents that the researchers will take from the Daarut Tauhiid Rahmatan Lil'Alamin Foundation, namely 322 people. The research results show that the principal's leadership, teacher motivation, and customer satisfaction are in the "good" category. The principal's leadership and teacher motivation have a positive and significant influence with an influence value of 6.851 and 8.447. There is a simultaneous influence of principal leadership and teacher motivation on customer satisfaction, with an influence value of 166,572.  The coefficient of determination is 0.511. That is, approximately 51.1% of the variability in customer satisfaction can be explained jointly by principal leadership and teacher motivation, while the remaining 48.9% can be distributed among other variables not included in this study. It is hoped that this research will contribute by exploring the factors that influence customer satisfaction, such as school principal leadership and teacher motivation. Therefore, the Foundation must improve to overcome this problem so that it does not happen again.

Abstract

The Izzatul Mu'minin Mosque (MIM) in Lembang is not solely focused on ritual worship activities but must also have a direct impact on the wider community. The prosperity of the mosque is achieved if MIM can become a center of civilization at the regional level through four aspects: worship, social, economic, education, and da'wah. This study aims to analyze the internal and external factors of MIM and formulate appropriate strategies to develop a prosperous mosque in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and in line with the Quranic verse At-Taubah 18. A qualitative research method is used to deeply understand the mosque's context, focusing on solving actual problems that can be practically utilized. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document studies. This study focuses on strategy formulation with a strategic management approach that is academically accountable and contributes to professional development as well as benefiting the wider community. Validation and credibility of the research are carried out through triangulation of methods and data sources with several informants involved in the mosque. Through the stages of the IE Matrix and SWOT Matrix, where the IE Matrix shows MIM's position in Cell 5 (Hold & Maintain), and SWOT produces strategic recommendations outlined in the QSPM for implementation. These strategies include: Increasing communication forums and making MIM a place for formal and informal deliberations; Collaborating with external communities for social activities; Digitizing the mosque with adequate technological infrastructure; Improving supporting facilities such as bathrooms and ablution places; Providing rest facilities for worshippers and tourists; Establishing a baitul mal or accountable financial body by conducting independent audits.

Abstract

Business transformation has become a strategic necessity for telecommunications companies operating in increasingly competitive and dynamic environments. PT Telkom Infrastruktur Indonesia (PT TIF), established under Telkom Group’s 5 Bold Moves initiative, functions as an InfraCo entity responsible for managing and commercializing fiber network infrastructure. However, the company faces challenges related to low infrastructure asset utilization and limited external revenue generation beyond the Telkom Group ecosystem. This study aims to formulate appropriate business strategies to optimize asset utilization and improve competitiveness. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five key informants representing PT TIF management, industry associations, and Internet Service Provider (ISP) companies, supported by direct observation and analysis of company documents and industry reports. The study utilized PESTEL Analysis, Porter’s Five Forces, SWOT Analysis, Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix, External Factor Evaluation (EFE) Matrix, IE Matrix, TOWS Matrix, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). Results indicate that PT TIF possesses significant strengths, including extensive nationwide infrastructure coverage and strong brand support from the Telkom Group, but faces weaknesses in operational agility, marketing capability, and capital expenditure limitations. QSPM analysis identifies Network Sharing Expansion as the priority strategy to improve infrastructure utilization, increase external revenue.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of Indonesia's National Health Insurance (JKN) program has transformed the healthcare sector, creating strategic challenges for secondary-level private hospitals in semi-rural areas. Following cooperation with BPJS Kesehatan in July 2025, RS Mitra Plumbon Patrol experienced a substantial increase in patient volume, with bed occupancy rates rising from 63.83% to 99.63% within four months. This growth exposed a misalignment between the hospital's existing business model and its evolving internal and external environment, requiring business model innovation to maintain competitive advantage and financial sustainability. This study aimed to analyze the existing business model, identify internal and external competitiveness factors, and formulate a recommended business model to strengthen organizational performance. A qualitative single embedded case study was conducted using an interpretivist approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with ten purposively selected informants and validated through source triangulation. Data analysis integrated the Business Model Canvas, PESTEL analysis, Porter's Five Forces, and SWOT matrix. The findings revealed that approximately 80–90% of patients were covered by BPJS. Key strengths included a trauma center, five-star accreditation, and organizational support, whereas weaknesses included BPJS revenue dependence, high employee turnover, and limited referral access. Four strategic priorities were identified: premium medical check-up services, business-to-business marketing expansion, strengthened BPJS claim documentation, and staff retention with patient loyalty programs. The proposed business model targets a 60% BPJS and 40% non-BPJS patient composition through diversified revenue streams, providing a replicable framework for improving competitiveness, financial resilience, operational efficiency, and sustainable healthcare service quality in resource-constrained private hospitals undergoing insurance-driven transformation.

Abstract

The Indonesian telecommunications industry is experiencing rapid transformation, with growing demands for efficient digital connectivity—particularly in the family segment. myXL, a prepaid application by XLSMART, offers significant potential to enhance family digital engagement but faces challenges in customer retention and feature optimization. Specifically, family-oriented packages such as AKRAB and XL Circle have not performed optimally as primary revenue drivers. This study adopts a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with six key informants and analysis of internal company documents. Its objective is to evaluate the myXL prepaid business model and formulate strategies to increase revenue and customer engagement in the family segment. The study employs Business Model Canvas (BMC) analysis to map the current business structure, SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors, and the TOWS Matrix to design strategic improvement scenarios. Findings reveal that the myXL application has strengths in digital infrastructure and active user loyalty but exhibits weaknesses in the adoption and popularity of family-specific features. Significant opportunities arise from increasing demand for family connectivity and digital parenting awareness, while threats include intense competition and regulatory changes. The study provides practical contributions for XLSMART in designing data-driven policies and digital product strategies. This research is limited to prepaid users of the myXL application in Indonesia
