Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyze the increase in body dimensions of post-weaning female Holstein Friesian (HF) calves fed with lactation cow concentrate with different levels of calf starter substitution. The material was 4 post-weaning female HF calves aged 4-5 months, with an average weight of 101.38 ± 14.21 kg. The feed consisted of elephant grass, calf starter (CS), and lactation cow concentrate (LCC). The study used a Latin square design, with 4 concentrate treatments, i.e. P1 (75% CS and 25% LCC), P2 (50% CS and 50% LCC), P3 (25% CS and 75% LCC), P4 (100% LCC); and 4 replications in 4 periods (each period in 1 month). The concentrate was given 1% BW in the dry matter; elephant grass and drinking water were provided in a measurable ad libitum. The research parameters were the increase in body dimensions (heart girth (HG), body length (BL), and withers height (WH)). The treatments had no significant effect (p>0.05) on the increase in body dimensions, were P1 (HG = 2.31 cm/month, BL = 4.75 cm/month, WH = 1.95 cm/month), P2 (HG = 4.23 cm/month, BL = 4.38 cm/month, WH = 2.23 cm/month), P3 (HG = 4.60 cm/month, BL = 4.38 cm/month, WH = 2.35 cm/month), P4 (HG = 4,10 cm/month, BL = 3.48 cm/month, WH = 2.18 cm/month). It was concluded that with sufficient quality forage feed, giving 100% LCC to post-weaning female HF calves could result in an increase in body dimensions that was relatively the same as the substitution of CS (25-75%) in LCC as concentrate feed.Keywords: post-weaning female HF calves, body dimensions, calf starter, lactation cow concentrate

Abstract

Abstrak Usaha UMK pengolahan buah carica khas Dieng menjadi produk minuman khas dengan nama NSR Carica, membutuhkan sentuhan teknologi. Pengelolaan usaha yang tidak tertib menjadikan usaha tidak terukur. Mulai stock barang masuk, barang keluar, transaksi yang dilakukan dan lainnya masih manual dengan menulis di buku saja. Ketika melayani banyak pembeli dan orderan, kadang tidak lupa dicatat. Belum lagi beberapa masukan konsumen yang kesulitan menancapkan sedotan ke cup NSR Carica. Sehingga pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan merupakan kelanjutan dari program pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan pada tahun 2022. Evaluasi dari program di tahun sebelumnya akhirnya membawa solusi untuk diadakannya pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi kasir pintar sebagai upaya tertib administrasi. Selain itu, rebranding juga dilakukan agar lebih memberikan kesan menarik bagi konsumen dan dengan perbaikan kemasan menindaklanjuti saran-saran konsumen. Dari kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan, hasilnya yaitu branding baru dengan cup yang mudah ditusuk oleh sedotan, keterampilan pengelolaan usaha berbasis teknologi dengan penggunaan aplikasi kasir pintar, dan juga pembukuan usaha NSR Carica menjadi tertib dan terpantau di aplikasi kasir pintar. Dengan hasil di atas, NSR Carica semakin kuat berdiri sebagai usaha mikro dan kecil untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat sekitar. Unorganized business management makes the business unmeasurable. Starting from incoming stock, outgoing goods, transactions made and others are still manual by writing in books only. When serving many buyers and orders, sometimes they don't forget to record them. Not to mention some consumer input who have difficulty inserting straws into the NSR Carica cup. So that the training and mentoring carried out is a continuation of the community service program that was carried out in 2022. Evaluation of the program in the previous year finally brought a solution to hold training on the use of the smart cashier application as an effort to order administration. In addition, rebranding was also carried out to provide a more attractive impression to consumers and with improvements to the packaging following up on consumer suggestions. From the training and mentoring activities carried out, the results were new branding with cups that were easily pierced by straws, technology-based business management skills with the use of the smart cashier application, and also the bookkeeping of the NSR Carica business became orderly and monitored in the smart cashier application. With the above results, NSR Carica is increasingly standing strong as a micro and small business to improve the economy of the surrounding community. Abstract

The problem in this research is How is the implementation of Character Education in Islamic Education Learning in SMA Negeri 2 Muara Beliti Musi Rawas? What are the obstacles faced by teachers in the process of implementing character education in learning Islamic Religious Education at SMA Negeri 2 Reference Muara Beliti Musi Rawas ?. The research can draw the following conclusions: First, the perceptions of PAI teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Unggulan Muara Beliti on the implementation of character education and the role of Islamic education learning in character building is very positive. Second, the Implementation of Character Education in PAI Learning at Muara Beliti 2 Referral High Schools is applied with a strategy of value analysis, value clarification, exemplary stories, and cooperative learning models. Meanwhile, the habituation that is carried out is praying before starting and after learning, shaking hands when meeting the teacher, on time, and memorizing. Third, there are several obstacles in the implementation of character education, there are four obstacles faced by Islamic Education teachers, namely: a) lack of facilities and a forum for student development; 2) weak synergy of various elements, especially parents and society; 3) the environment is not conducive; and 4) character that is hard / difficult to manage.

Abstract

Berdasarkan kondisi Ibu-Ibu PKK Dukuh Ocak-Acik RT.01 dan RW.02, Jati, Jaten Karanganyar-Surakarta, berkaitan dengan olahan berbagai variasi makanan dengan bahan dasar singkong mendapatkan hasil yang cukup memuaskan. Kegitan pelatihan IbM ini dapat mengembangkan ketrampilan dalam membuat berbagai olahan variasi makanan dengan bahan dasar singkong. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk menambah ketrampilan, mengisi waktu luang dalam mengolah singkong dengan berbagai variasi. Pelaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat IbM ini akan berlangsung selama 6 bulan yaitu lebih tepatnya 8 kali pertemuan dengan mengoptimalkan program penyuluhan dan pelatihan dengan model pelatihan andragogi yaitu 70% praktek dan 30% teori. Hasil yang telah dicapai dalam program pengabdian ini adalah menambah pengetahuan dan ketrampilan Ibu-Ibu PKK tentang berbagai olahan variasi makanan dengan bahan dasar singkong. Mitra dapat menghasilkan karya berupa kue singkong dengan toping coklat, keju, serta wingko babat berbahan singkong dan keju singkong crispy. Sebanyak 11 mitra dapat menyelesaikan pelatihan dengan baik dan lancar.
