Abstract

The use of metrics in software as an analysis method is considered quite difficult in application development. Many companies use this method. The research we conducted aimed to analyze software quality metrics and determine the absence of a common standard for selecting metrics in software testing systems. Our research method involved analyzing various software quality metrics to understand the diversity in metric selection practices among developers. The results of this study reveal that developers must devise their own methods for evaluating software quality given the specific characteristics of the industry in which the software will be used

Abstract

Efficient and effective software development is becoming increasingly important in today's digital age. The purpose of this paper is to assess the success of RAD implementation by taking into account the advantages and disadvantages, challenges faced, and how to make RAD implementation run effectively. The method used in this writing is a literature study. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that in the implementation of the RAD method, it is necessary to pay attention to what projects are being run, whether human resources are sufficient, and what applications are developed. This needs to be done because RAD is not a suitable method for all types of applications, especially new applications. The use of the right tools is highly recommended to support rapid development. The success of RAD is highly dependent on the project context and the capabilities of the development team, and further research is needed to evaluate the effectiveness of RAD in different types of software projects.

Abstract

Aglaonema farming holds significant economic potential, but challenges in knowledge management often hinder farmers' productivity. Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) provide effective solutions for managing knowledge efficiently. This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of KMS implementation for aglaonema farmers using a structured method and an object-oriented method with the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The research methodology includes identifying farmers' needs, developing systems using both approaches, conducting functionality testing, and performing a comparative analysis based on effectiveness, efficiency, and ease of use. The study's results indicate that the object-oriented approach with UML offers greater flexibility in development and adaptation to changing user needs. At the same time, the structured method provides stability within a well-defined system. User evaluations reveal a preference for UML-based systems, particularly in supporting dynamic knowledge access and integrating market price prediction features. The study concludes that the object-oriented approach with UML is more suitable for KMS development in agribusiness, where an adaptive and responsive system is essential.

Abstract

Live streaming has become one of the most prominent digital phenomena in recent years, changing the way individuals interact, consume content and shop online. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence audience engagement in live streaming, including audience motivation, the role of social interaction, technological features, platform distribution, and popular genres. Through a systematic literature review approach, 27 articles from relevant ScienceDirect and DOAJ databases were selected for analysis. The study results show that audience engagement is mainly influenced by parasocial interaction (PSI), entertainment-based motivation (hedonic value), and practical benefits (utilitarian value). Technologies such as live chat, gifting, and data-driven recommendation systems strengthen viewing duration and audience loyalty. In addition, platforms such as Twitch dominate the gaming and esports genres, while TikTok Live thrives in the e-commerce space. New genres such as VTubers and travel offer opportunities to attract a wider audience with avatar-based interaction approaches and virtual experiences. The research also identified gaps in the literature, including a lack of studies on local platforms, new genres, and the impact of innovative technologies such as AR/VR. This study makes an academic contribution by summarizing key findings and providing strategic guidance for platform developers, streamers and businesses in creating more engaging and effective live streaming experiences.

Abstract

Aglaonema plants have become an important element in people's lives, serving as home decorations and sources of income. Aglaonema cultivation is increasingly popular, opening up business opportunities for farmers. This plant is not just a hobby but a horticultural commodity with high economic value. This research aims to analyze the difficulties faced by Aglaonema farmers, from seedling to marketing. This research uses a constructivist paradigm and qualitative methods, involving 20 informants from among farmers, traders, buyers, extension workers, and farmer organizations. Data were collected through interviews, focus group discussions, and observations, with triangulation to validate the information. Data analysis was conducted using the NVivo application. The research results show that the main difficulties faced by Aglaonema farmers include unpredictable price fluctuations, limited varieties, weak communication among farmers, traditional seedling methods, and a lack of information about seed supply. These findings emphasize the need for information sharing between farmers and stakeholders to improve productivity and quality in agribusiness, in line with consumer demands and technological advancements, which can be implemented through a knowledge management system platform in the Aglaonema agribusiness supply chain.

Abstract

Penggunaan metrik pada software defect adalah sebagai alat pengukur untuk membantu mengidentifikasi risiko dalam memprediksi cacat dalam perangkat lunak. Metrik perangkat lunak membantu berbagai pelaku industri agar memastikan produk akhir berkualitas tinggi. Metrik ini mampu melakukan mitigasi risiko sejak awal hingga akhir proses pengembangan perangkat lunak dan membantu dalam pencegahan dan perbaikan cacat perangkat lunak. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemilihan metrik, teknik dan model yang sesuai sebelum melakukan pengujian pada perangkat lunak. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah studi literatur. Hasil penulisan tersebut adalah untuk mengetahui bahwa terdapat banyak jenis metrik yang dapat digunakan dalam suatu penelitian. Pada permasalahan yang ada mengenai pemilihan jenis metrik untuk cacat perangkat lunak, langkah yang perlu dilakukan adalah dengan mengidentifikasi permasalahan tersebut. Lalu dilakukannya diskusi mengenai jalan keluar yang tepat dengan pemangku kepentingan untuk menjadi jalan keluar dari sebuah permasalahan.

Abstract

Sharing knolwedge merupakan komponen penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas. Namun dalam pelaksanaan di Badan Nasional Penempatan dan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (BNP2TKI), sharing knowledge menjadi bermasalah ketika yang digunakan masih dilakukan secara manual yaitu dengan bertatap muka dalam pelaksanaannya sehingga, menyebabkan kesulitan bagi pegawai maupun TKI dalam mengimplentasikannya selain itu terdapat redudansi data dalam setiap responnya dan publikasi knowledge yang tidak teratur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan Knowledge Management System (KMS) yang dapat membantu pegawai dan TKI dalam melakukan sharing knowledge agar memperoleh data atau informasi sesuai kebutuhan yaitu dengan menyediakan dokumen, video, berita dan layanan diskusi guna memenuhi kebutuhan KMS. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, untuk pengembangan sistem metode yang digunakan Rapid Application Development (RAD) sedangkan dalam pengimplementasian KMS menggunakan Knowledge Management Process, serta perancangan KMS menggunakan pemodelan Unified Modeling Language (UML). Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan dalam membangun sistem adalah PHP dan MySQL. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem yang dapat memudahkan sharing knowledge antar pegawai BNP2TKI dan TKI agar mendukung peningkatan kualitas TKI.

Abstract

Pengelolaan perpustakaan saat ini di MAN 1 Kota Tangerang masih menerapkan sistem manual sehingga terdapat kendala, salah satunya kesulitan dalam proses manajemen informasi. Oleh karena itu, agar pekerjaan dapat lebih efektif dan efisien serta untuk meminimalisasi permasalahan, sistem yang terkomputerisasi penting untuk diterapkan. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah menganalisis dan merancang sistem informasi perpustakaan untuk pengelolaan, penyimpanan & pendistribusian buku elektronik. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan menggunakan pendekatan pemrograman berorientasi objek. Hasil dari penulisan ini adalah perancangan sebuah sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis web yang mampu mengelola keanggotaan, pengadaan dan pengelolaan koleksi, sirkulasi peminjaman dan pengembalian buku.
