This study aims to estimate the level of efficiency of the manufacturing industry in Central Java Province. The position of the manufacturing industry in Central Java between two clusters of Jakarta-Bandung and Surabaya were the justification for the urgency of this research. The concept of relative efficiency with format Constant Return to Scale (CRS) and the Variable Return to Scale (VRS) was used as the theoretical framework of this research. The concept was applied by the method of Data Envelopment analysis (DEA) to describe the level of efficiency of the manufacturing industry sub-sector in Central Java province in 2016. The study also describes a way of increasing efficiency in production output for the manufacturing sub-sector classified as inefficient. DEA model used in this study is the CRS and VRS with the orientation of the output (output-oriented)The results of this study indicate that the apparel sub-sector; wood and processing; machinery and equipment; as well as furniture and processing is a sub-sector of manufacturing industry in Central Java in 2016 were classified as inefficient. Sub sectors using too much input unit, thus creating inefficient production levels relative to other sub-sectors.

This study aims to determine the pattern formation of farmer groups and the dynamics surrounding it. Theoretically, this research is expected to complement previous studies and as a material for further study the interaction problems of farmers in the group. The research method in this study is a qualitative descriptive symbolic interaction perspective. The unit of analysis in this study is the interaction between individuals in a partnership contract with the farmers do Perhutani office and perceptions that arise from the current fertility involved in these interactions. The data collection is done by means of unstructured interviews, in-depth interviews (depth interview), and the observation participation. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The study's findings include the discovery of the three main sources of formation of farmer groups, which are formed due to the dynamics problem fertilizer distribution mechanism, their help, and through association study.Ultimately verifier will recommend the farmer group based institutional track record and activeness in the sustainability of the program, both in terms of activities, maintenance, as well as the accountability side.

This paper will describe the function of water resources to support business activities in Surakarta regency, Central Java province. Surakarta is a business city in Central Java province with small business enterprises and specific culture. This city has a famous river with the name is Bengawan Solo. Bengawan Solo is a River Flow Regional (RFR) to support business activities in Surakarta regency. Concious with the function, societies and local government in Surakarta must to manage the sustainability of River Flow Regional (RFR) Bengawan Solo. It is important to manage the sustainability of business activity in Surakarta regency.   According to the condition in Surakarta regency, this paper will explain how the simulation of Low Impact Development Model in Surakarta regency. Low Impact Development is a model that can manage and evaluate sustainability of water resources in River Flow Regional (RFR). Low Impact Development can analys goals, structures, and process water resources management. The system can also evaluate results and impacts of water resources management. From this study, we hope that Low Impact Development can manage water resources in River Flow Regional (RFR) Bengawan Solo.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai kritik untuk pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia khususnya berfokus pada tenaga pendidik yang memiliki pola pikir yang pragmatis pada saat ini. Tenaga pendidik kemudian lalai dalam tugasnya dan meninggalkan hakikatnya sehingga menimbulkan berbagai dampak yang merubah pola perilakunya. Hal ini dilihat dari kaca mata ekonomi yaitu dengan peristiwa ?trade off? yang memiiliki arti bahwa dibutuhkan sebuah pengorbanan untuk memperoleh ssesuatu yang lain.. Penelitian ini dikaji dengan metode deskriptif yang sifatnya memaparkan dengan pendekatan analisis ini atau ?content analisys? yang mendalami suatu informasi-informasi terkini mengenai Pendidikan tinggi. Kemudian dikaitkan dengan prinsip ekonomi politik CCC ?Circular and Cumulative Causation?. Sebagai hasil adalah, memang benar adanya peristiwa trade off tersebut hal ini dibuktikan dengan aktifnya seorang tenaga pendidik untuk melakukan penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah agar dianggap produktif dan mendapatkan remunerasi dan jabatan. Dan akhirnya terjadi pergeseran peran dan fungsi seorang tenaga pendidik.

Integrated aquaculture management systems, aquaculture, and crop cultivation can be implemented in synergy where each business that supports each other, supports each other, support each other, by optimally utilizing the potential resources needed. Sapen Village, Mojoaban District, Sukoharjo Regency chose the location of empowerment because it has the potential for integrated farming. Livestock waste that is diverted and converted into pollution sources, on the other hand, the fishery business is very dependent on pellet feed, it is agreed that integration will occur, so the problem of livestock waste can be solved by presenting natural food sources for the fishing business. The program carried out is the socialization of alternative animal feed selection and the socialization of how to make alternative feed. The selection of alternative fish feed, besides being able to incur fish farmers' production costs, is also a form of integration between cattle and goat groups and fish livestock groups. From the implementation of this community service program, it will gain new knowledge about the management of agricultural waste by developing earthworm (lumbricus rubelius) cultivation as fish feed ingredients. Besides, the public also gained new knowledge about how to process livestock as an alternative to fish food.Keyword: integrated farming systems, livestock waste breeding, alternative fish feed

The Empowerment Strategy of Micro and Small Enterprise in Facing ASEAN Free Trade (Case Study at Kampung Batik Laweyan)National economics development in Indonesia. Which became priority are micro, small, and medium enterprises. (UMKM ) would become the backbone of the economic society based to reduce the poverty and development bases to broaden economic and would give significant contribution in improving regional economy and national economic resilience. Batik to UMKM laweyan can survive in the current free trade it is required a pattern the right strategy. In the research uses a qualitative methodology with data. Colecction method interview, participant observation and study documentation. Then data analysis technique in this researh using data clecction, the reduction of the data , display data and thr concludion of the data analysis. This study aims to describe the waste management system in Celungan, Sapen Village, Sukoharjo then compare with the pattern that occurs in established waste banks. The results of the comparison are used to analyze the potential development of existing waste management systems to be developed into a waste bank system. The results of the study show the general pattern needed to establish a waste bank, namely the awareness and participation of the community, as well as the clarity of the management structure and the system of the waste bank being run. What happened at the research site was community awareness about waste management, but it was not balanced with the support of a good management system. So that development efforts are needed in the form of training, preparation of management structures, preparation of waste bank systems, and support for necessary facilities.Keywords: Waste Bank, Community Economics, Waste Management

The study of women has always attracted the attention of a variety of multi-disciplines. This paper examines women from the discipline of economics which is supported by the study of other sciences, especially gender and culture. This paper describes how the Kraton, as the center of Javanese culture, contributed to keeping women and culture. Thesis writing material adapted from the author himself in 2015, which was then coupled with studies of secondary data as a complement and a reformer. The object of research was the Women Abdi-Dalem Kraton Surakarta, the focus is on the family breeds servants Abdi-Dalem Mbah Dullah , as the only breed longest tradional family servants, namely 5 generations. The object of the research proposed by the Kraton Surakarta appropriate to the purpose of the author, which focus more on parenting and sustainability of the Abdi-Dalem. This study aims to determine the role of Pancasila values in the banking sector in order to achieve social justice in the form of equity, both of which are applied in the UU pokok perbankan and UU pokok Bank Indonesia, as well as in the level of banking operations. The approach used in this study is a descriptive study using literature review as a kind of research. From the results of literature review found that the UU pokok perbankan and UU pokok Bank Indonesia, which is used by the Indonesian banking industry does not yet reflect the values contained in Pancasila, so that the operational phase toward social justice in the banking sector there is no jurisdiction foundation and the leveling process that became national banking purpose is released to the market mechanism. This study is motivated by great marine potential, but the condition of the fishing community is generally poor. This is a potential obstacle for fishing communities to encourage the dynamics of development in their region. Sub-district Pringkuku in 2008 has a total of 529 fishermen with 62.94 percent in the poor category. The purpose of this study is (1) to know the operational of Fish Auction Site (TPI) of Watukarung Village and (2) to know how the operation of Fish Auction Site (TPI) in improving the prosperity of local fishermen community. This study uses descriptive and qualitative methods. Methods of data collection by interviewing and documenting information from 11 informants who have roles in different economic interactions. The results of this study are (1) the operational of the fishermen depends on the interaction of the fishermen and the fisherman who are tied up with a unique profit-sharing system that is understood and obeyed by all parties, (2) The fish auction place (TPI) All stakeholders in TPI also influence the formation of the price of catch with auction system.
