Abstract

Purpose: The development of ornamental fish feed technology plays a crucial role in ensuring the long-term viability of fisheries in Trenceng Village, Sumbergempol, and Tulungagung Regency. The objective is to develop alternative technology for manufacturing fish feed that may effectively reduce production expenses and fulfil the requirements of ornamental fish growers. Method: The approach promotes self-sufficiency among ornamental fish producers in producing fish feed. This is done in response to the declining pricing of ornamental fish and the comparatively high feed cost. Practical Applications: This technology's practical application is to create food self-sufficiency for ornamental fish farmers in terms of ease of price access and physical. Conclusion: Ornamental fish farmers are anticipated to benefit from implementing alternative fish feed technologies, as it will assist them in managing volatility and reductions in product revenue. Therefore, this technology can enhance the sustainability of fisheries in Trenceng Village, Sumbergempol, and Tulungagung Regency.

Abstract

The existence of an institutional design for consumption fish production is the central aspect of sustainability fishery in Village Panjerejo, Rejotangan, Regency Tulungagung. The position price of fish gourami (consumption fish), which tends to fluctuate and is added to the relative price of artificial feed tall, makes farmer fish consumption must own method alternative in availability feed fish. Fish farmer gouramy expected to be able to organize internal institutions to produce self-sufficient fish feed to reduce production costs. This is a crucial moment. They also have to face a relatively fluctuating revenue/ revenue product tend to decrease. System institutional expected produce pattern independence food, in the sense of ease of price and physical access to meet the needs of farmers of consumption fish.

Abstract

Refurbished products, which are repaired or restored to a like-new condition, offer a more sustainable alternative to new products by extending their lifecycle. However, the marketing of refurbished products faces several chal-lenges, including consumer perception, trust, and the impact of carbonemission-constraint policies. This study aims to address these challenges and provide recommendations for effective marketing strategies. We explore the marketing of refurbished products within the context of carbon-emission-constraint policies, specifically comparing offline and online channels. We present two channel models, with the first model, referred to as Model O, fo-cusing on marketing refurbished products through the manufacturer’s own e-commerce channel. The second model, known as Model T, explores the al-ternative approach of outsourcing the marketing activity to a third-party en-tity. Carbon-emissionconstraint policies impose restrictions on businesses’ carbon footprint, affecting their marketing strategies. Businesses must navi-gate these policies while effectively promoting refurbished products to envi-ronmentally conscious consumers. By addressing the challenges faced in marketing refurbished products with carbon-emission-constraint policies, consumer behavior, and comparing offline and online channels, this thesis aims to provide valuable insights for businesses and policymakers to effec-tively promote sustainable consumption and contribute to a more environ-mentally conscious industry.

Abstract

To advance the circular economy, refurbishing activities are essential to mitigate industrial waste. While cap-and-trade policies regulate greenhouse emissions, their mathematical interactions with refurbishing distribution strategies remain under-researched. This study assesses the implications of distribution structures on profitability under environmental constraints. Two multivariable optimization models were developed: Model C (direct distribution) and Model M (indirect distribution via a retailer). Objective functions were optimized for price and production volume under cap-and-trade constraints. A sensitivity analysis of 15 parameters employed partial derivatives to determine the profit function's rate of change relative to market potential (Q), price elasticity (λ), cannibalization (β), and carbon costs. Model C yielded a higher optimum value ($165,796) than Model M ($124,341). Sensitivity analysis identified Q as having the highest positive gradient. Conversely, profits exhibited high sensitivity to λ and β, where incremental coefficient increases led to non-linear margin deterioration. Mathematically, optimal pricing proved nearly inelastic to carbon price fluctuations, suggesting that production costs and demand coefficients dominate the profit function's Hessian matrix. Model C maintained lower pricing for new ($370,219) and refurbished items ($220,163) compared to Model M ($555,109 and $330,081). This study demonstrates that direct distribution mitigates “double marginalization” in multi-tier chains. Mathematically, firms should prioritize optimizing market parameters (λ, β) over carbon-cost mitigation. Furthermore, policymakers must recognize that cap-and-trade programs may drive industries toward vertical integration to achieve mathematical optimality.

Abstract

Strategic borderlands and regional development In strategic border regions,?we find a complex politico-geographical dynamic between the imperatives of state territorial security on one hand, and economic under-development on the other. It’s about Natuna?Regency, Indonesia's "front-door" in the North Natuna Sea, which is emblematic of the unique paradox of high resource potential and long-standing development lags. The research examine 77 village units in Natuna to investigate regional development trajectories through Gunnar Myrdal’s perspective of Circular and Cumulative Causation (CCC), exploring the mechanisms of economic “locking” mechanisms of borderland economy. The methodology employs an advanced?k-prototype clustering algorithm to interpret high-dimensional Podes 2025 secondary data. This model uses mixed-type variables (i.e., digital, infrastructure or the presence of BTS and signal strength), economic facilities (credit access/KUR) as well as environmental?risk factor to analyze spatial-economic disparities. The analysis reveals three clusters-Growth Poles (Bunguran Timur), with a?"virtuous cycle" of digital-institutional synergy, The Agricultural Periphery in the form of a "backwash effect," associated with logistical bottlenecks, and Isolated Maritime Units facing cumulative decay. The study reveals that borderland resilience cannot be solely attributed to physical infrastructure but to the management of the compounded effect of innovation. The present research provides a strategic blueprint for sub-national governance to harness secondary data for policy-making in critical maritime areas.

Abstract

Social values that are believed to individuals are often more than just maximizing profit motive alone that ultimately basing all economic interactions carried out in accordance moral owned economy and believed. Geographical location Wonosari village located on the border of two different areas of cultural assimilation implications developed in the community. Tendency blend of Javanese and Islam reflected in the current market in Wonosari Village and patterns of behavior of individuals who sought not in conflict with prevailing social values. This study aims to determine the underlying culture of economic behavior faced with the rationalization of neoclassical economics. The method used to explore and explain the economic decisions through qualitative research methods with the paradigm of phenomenology, given the Wonosari Village believes strongly in the local social and cultural values that influence patterns of behavior in interaction. Results of the study found that there is some value in line with neoclassical economic rationalization, where all things in economic interactions must be for-profit, and there is also contrary to the values of economic rationalization. The conclusion to be drawn is the value of a good adherence to the parents and to the specific role turned out in line with the rationalization of the economy rests on the efficiency to obtain profit maximization. But there is also a value that is not in line with economic rationalization that is in adherence to religious values and local culture, which prefers good relations between people rather than the profit motive. Keywords: rationality economy, culture
