Abstract

In Indonesia, rice is a staple food consumed daily. The high purchasing power of the public for good quality rice makes this a reason for producers to add dangerous bleaching agents such as chlorine to improve the physical quality of the rice they sell. The use of unclear bleaching agents on rice that do not meet the requirements for permitted additives in food and whose concentrations exceed the threshold limits is dangerous for human health. This research aims to determine the presence of chlorine in white rice sold at the Pagesangan market. The methods used are qualitative and quantitative. Three of the five rice samples tested at the Mataram STTL Laboratory tested positive for chlorine. Chlorine levels in rice samples, sample C, were 367.4 mg/L, sample D was 275.1 mg/L, and sample E was 93.4 mg/L.

Abstract

This study uses an integrative approach to evaluate physical, chemical and biological parameters in the analysis of Mujur River water quality. This shows the complexity of interactions between various factors in determining river water quality. The purpose of this study was to understand the integrative impact of such factors on water quality. The research method involves collecting physical, chemical and biological data from the upstream, middle and downstream locations of the Mujur River. The results showed a complex pattern of interaction between physical, chemical and biological parameters that provided a deep understanding of river conditions. The conclusion of this study is the importance of an integrative approach in evaluating river water quality. In the future, it is necessary to implement more effective management measures to ensure the sustainability of the Mujur River and the surrounding ecosystem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis manajemen pendidikan Islam yang diterapkan di pesantren. Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam tradisional memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan pengetahuan keagamaan para santri. Manajemen pendidikan di pesantren melibatkan berbagai aspek, termasuk kurikulum, metode pengajaran, manajemen sumber daya manusia, dan hubungan antara pesantren dengan masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus pada beberapa pesantren di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pendidikan di pesantren memiliki keunikan tersendiri yang dipengaruhi oleh nilai-nilai agama dan budaya lokal. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan manajemen pendidikan Islam yang lebih efektif di pesantren.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul "Peran Teknologi dalam Optimalisasi Manajemen Tenaga Kependidikan di Era Digital." Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah terkait bagaimana teknologi dapat mengoptimalkan manajemen tenaga kependidikan di YPI Darul Huda, Lebak Kajang. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan tenaga kependidikan di tengah pesatnya perkembangan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi penerapan teknologi dalam manajemen tenaga kependidikan dan mengidentifikasi dampaknya terhadap proses administratif serta pengembangan profesional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis tematik, di mana data dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen diidentifikasi dan dikelompokkan untuk menemukan tema utama yang berkaitan dengan penerapan teknologi. Landasan teori yang digunakan mencakup teori manajemen pendidikan dan transformasi digital, yang menyediakan kerangka untuk memahami bagaimana teknologi dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan tenaga kependidikan secara efektif. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa teknologi memainkan peran krusial dalam meningkatkan efisiensi administratif dan mendukung pengembangan profesional, serta menyoroti pentingnya transformasi digital dalam manajemen pendidikan.

Abstract

The Belanger tradition is an indigenous Sasak hair-cleansing practice that integrates cultural values, ethnochemical knowledge, and environmental sustainability. This study investigates the Belanger tradition, a Sasak hair-cleansing ritual utilizing natural ingredients such as coconut milk, hibiscus leaves, and kaffir lime. Employing a qualitative ethnochemical approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation at three sites in Lombok. The findings reveal that Belanger transcends mere physical hair treatment; it embodies a holistic practice of physical and spiritual purification, reinforced by its socio-cultural role in strengthening community bonds and intergenerational knowledge transmission. Scientific analysis demonstrates that the selected ingredients possess bioactive properties with clear ethnochemical rationales. Coconut milk, rich in lauric acid, provides conditioning and antimicrobial benefits. Kaffir lime offers essential oils and flavonoids with antifungal and antioxidant activities, while hibiscus leaves contribute natural saponins for gentle cleansing. The traditional practice of roasting coconut further enhances its adsorptive capacity through mild pyrolysis. Environmentally, the tradition exemplifies a sustainable model, as all materials are biodegradable and locally sourced, in contrast to the persistent chemical waste associated with synthetic shampoos. Thus, this research concludes that Belanger represents a significant convergence of indigenous wisdom and empirical science. It serves not only as a cultural heritage but also as a viable case study for sustainable cosmetic practices and context-based science education, highlighting the relevance of local knowledge in contemporary discourses on health, ecology, and cultural preservation.

Abstract

Dug well water is a common source of water used by rural communities. However, water pollution can pose risks to both health and the environment, such as contamination by ammonia. The sources of ammonia pollution generally originate from agricultural waste, livestock waste, and domestic household waste. The purpose of this study was to analyze the ammonia concentration and assess the feasibility of dug well water using the UV-Vis spectrophotometry method. The results of this study showed that Well 1 had an ammonia concentration of 0.045 mg/L in the first trial and 0.047 mg/L in the second trial; Well 2 had a consistent ammonia concentration of 0.224 mg/L in both trials; and Well 3 had an ammonia concentration of 0.192 mg/L in the first trial and 0.191 mg/L in the second trial. The findings indicate that Well 1 meets the Class I water quality standard of 0.01 mg/L, whereas Wells 2 and 3 do not meet this standard. However, Well 2 still meets the Class III water quality standard of 0.3 mg/L, and Well 3 meets the Class II standard of 0.2 mg/L, based on Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021. Therefore, only Well 1 is suitable for consumption, while Wells 2 and 3 are not suitable for drinking but may still be used for daily household needs. This condition is likely caused by livestock pens located approximately 11–23 meters from the wells, as well as the disposal of household and domestic waste near the dug wells, which may have seeped into the groundwater and contributed to elevated ammonia levels.

Abstract

Air merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok manusia, segala aktifitas manusia membutuhkan air dalam prosesnya. Air yang dapat digunakan harus memenuhi persyaratan baik secara Fisik,Kimia maupun biologi.Banyak masyarakat masih menggunakan Air tanah atau air sumur sebagai sumber air bersih. Air tanah atau air sumur yang menjadi salah satu sumber air minum perlu diperhatikan kelayakannya. Hal ini disebabkan air sumur terkontaminasi rembesan dari tangki septic tank maupun air permukaan yang tercemar. Oleh karena hal tersebut, air sumur sering mengandung banyak polutan seperti bakteri. Sehingga dibutuhkan klorin sebagai desinfektan. Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi kepada kelompok kader untuk tata cara penggunaan klorin yang benar sebagai Desinfektan. Dengan adanya Sosialisasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu untuk menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan kader sehingga dapat memberikan nformasi secara rinci kepada masyarakat.
