Abstract

Problem-Based Instruction (PBI) is one of learning model which required student to be more active and create steps in solving problem so that the student should be able to develope their ability in solving mathematics problem and change the student’s perspective in mathematics positively. This study aims to asses the improvemement of problem solving and student’s self-concept that are taught by using PBI model and the student who taught by conventional learning through their level in studying. This study used pre-test post-test control group design. The population in this study is the eleventh grade students of SMK Farmasi Cut Meutia Banda Aceh in the school year 2013-2014. Samples were taken two classes XIA as the experimental class and XIB as a control class through purposing sampling technique. The instrument used to obtain research data is a mathematics problem solving ability test. The statistical test used to analyze the increasing problem solving data are ANOVA two path test. The result showed that the improvement problem solving ability that were taught by using PBI is better than students taught with conventional learning. According to student’s level, improving problem solving ability through PBI model is also better than students taught with conventional learning.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan kesalahan-kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah pemodelan matematika sederhana. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika semester V tahun 2019/2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam menyelesaikan masalah pemodelan matematika sederhana, kesalahan yang dilakukan mahasiswa adalah kesalahan konsep (73,3%), kesalahan prinsip (3%), kesalahan fakta (1,6%) dan kesalahan operasi (5,4%). Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah pemodelan matematika sederhana adalah karena kurangnya pengetahuan konsep dasar matematika mahasiswa, kurangnya pengetahuan mahasiswa memahami lambang (simbol) dan satuan dalam matematika, dan kurang telitinya mahasiswa dalam melakukan perhitungan. Adapun upaya-upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah pemodelan matematika sederhana adalah: 1) penekanan pembelajaran pada konsep-konsep dasar matematika, 2) pengenalan lambang (simbol) serta satuan-satuan yang benar dan tepat, 3) pemberian soal latihan secara berulang, dan 4) penggunakan media pembelajaran yang tepat pada proses perkuliahan. Kata Kunci: Analisis, Kesalahan Mahasiswa, Pemodelan Matematika

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman bilangan rasional mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar yang berkaitan dengan pengetahuan procedural dan konseptual. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 102 mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar tahun kedua pada dua perguruan tinggi swasta di Aceh, Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakna tes tertulis yang berkaitan dengan bilangan rasional. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskripstif dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar baik pengetahuan procedural dan konseptual pada bilangan rasional masih sangat terbatas. Secara kategorisasi, pengetahuan procedural mahasiswa tergolong dalam level moderate (70,05%) sedangkan pengetahuan konseptual (50,36%) masih berada pada level rendah. Berbagai bentuk miskonsepsi dan kesulitan (epistemological obstacles) masih dialami oleh mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah terkait dengan kedua pengetahuan ini. Interpretasi bilangan rasional dalam representasi pecahan dan decimal perlu menjadi focus dalam ruang kuliah matematika pada program Pendidikan guru sekolah dasar. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mendukung penguatan pengetahuan konseptual melebihi pengetahuan procedural ditekankan pada mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The lack of teacher creativity in implementing learning results in low student learning outcomes. One way to improve student learning outcomes is to use a learning model that focuses on student activeness. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning learning model on student learning outcomes in exponent functions in first grade students at Krueng barona Jaya senior high school. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Sampling based on purposive sampling technique, obtained X1 class students (N = 24) as an experimental class that applies learning with Problem Based Learning model and X2 class students (N = 28) as a control class that applies conventional learning. Data collection techniques using observation, tests and documentation. Based on the results of the t-test analysis of two independent samples through the average value of the posttest of student learning outcomes, obtained t-count > t-table (4.49> 2.00). So it can be concluded that there is an effect of learning using the Problem Based Learning model on student learning outcomes on exponent function.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to find out how learning trajectory is right for students in understanding the concept of geometry. Learning the area of triangles and quadrilateral areas through trivial problems may be easy for students, but not in the context of complex problems. Therefore, through learning with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach is known learning trajectory that can help students learn geometry. From the results of the study showed that through the provision of problems that are situational and close to the experience of students give the impact of desire and motivation and challenge students to solve problems. From this experience, students realize or do not start building material concepts that should be obtained in learning mathematics. This is a suggestion that the teaching and learning process should present problems that can take advantage of the student's previous experience before it becomes a new formal concept.

Abstract

One of the problems encountered in learning mathematics is that students still have difficulty when solving problems that require reasoning and accuracy. This condition is caused by various factors, one of which is the learning model used by the teacher. This study aims to determine the learning success of students taught with the TPSS type cooperative learning model on SPLTV material and to describe student activities during the learning process. This research used quantitative approach with pretest posttest group design. The research population was 160 students of class X, while the research sample was X-IPA 1 class with 27 students. Data collection was done through tests and observations, the collected data were analysed using statistical tests (t-test). The results showed that: (1) there is an increase in student learning outcomes taught using the TPSS model as seen through the difference in the mean scores of the pretest and posttest which increased from 44.83 to 75.76 with a difference of 30.93. The hypothesis test results show the value of tcount> ttable (4.46 > 1.71) so it is concluded that students taught with the TPSS type cooperative learning model on SPLTV material can achieve learning success. (2) Student activity in learning using the TPSS model on SPLTV material is included in the good category with a percentage of 80%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi perkalian desimal. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN 58 Banda Aceh, khususnya dalam memahami konsep perkalian desimal yang selama ini diajarkan secara konvensional dan kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dengan desain one-shot case study, di mana siswa diberikan perlakuan melalui pembelajaran berbasis PBL dan kemudian diuji menggunakan post-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa data post-test tidak berdistribusi normal, sehingga dilakukan uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank. Nilai signifikansi p = 0.001 < 0.05 menunjukkan bahwa model PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman perkalian desimal siswa. Pembelajaran melalui PBL mampu menciptakan proses belajar yang lebih kontekstual, aktif, dan bermakna sehingga siswa tidak hanya menghafal, tetapi juga memahami konsep secara mendalam. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan PBL dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk mendorong keterlibatan siswa dan meningkatkan hasil belajar secara signifikan.AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in improving students’ understanding of decimal multiplication. The background of the research stems from the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 58 Banda Aceh, particularly in mastering decimal multiplication, which has been traditionally taught using conventional methods that lack student engagement. This study employed a pre-experimental method with a one-shot case study design, in which students received instruction through PBL and were then assessed using a post-test. The analysis showed that the post-test data were not normally distributed; therefore, the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test was used. The test result yielded a significance value of p = 0.001 < 0.05, indicating that the PBL model was effective in enhancing students' understanding of decimal multiplication. PBL fostered a contextual, active, and meaningful learning process, enabling students not only to memorize procedures but also to deeply comprehend mathematical concepts. The study recommends the implementation of PBL in mathematics instruction to promote student engagement and significantly improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak Pernikahan siri secara agama dikatakan sah, namun sangat bertentangan dengan hukum positif di Indonesia. Sehingga akibat dari pernikahan siri ini menimbulkan banyak masalah dan kerugian yang ditujukan kepada perempuan. Padahal, masyarakat sudah banyak melakukan pernikahan siri ini sejak zaman dahulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pernikahan siri di Desa Pekan Heran Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu beserta akibat hukum yang ditimbulkan menurut Undang-Undang Perkawinan Nomor 1 Tahun 1974. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian hukum empiris dengan cara survey ke lapangan dan jenis penelitiannya deskriptif yakni menggambarkan penelitian yang jelas dan lengkap. Berdasarkan penelitian, penulis menyimpulkan pelaksanaan pernikahan di Desa Pekan Heran tidak dicatatkan di Kantor Catatan Sipil, guna untuk menjamin kepastian hukum dan memudahkan urusan administrasi di kemudian hari. Lalu, akibat hukum dari pernikahan siri ini adanya pihak dirugikan seperti istri dan anak. Bagi istri, ia tak dapat menuntut haknya berdasar hukum di Indonesia dan bagi anak yang lahir dari hasil pernikahan siri, tentunya membuat anak tak dapat mewarisi pihak ayahnya. Ia dianggap mempunyai hubungan perdata dengan ibunya dan keluarga ibunya saja. Abstract Unregistered marriage is said to be legal, but it is against positive law in Indonesia. So as a result of this unregistered marriage caused many problems and losses aimed at women. In fact, many people have done this series of marriages since ancient times. This research was conducted to determine the implementation of unregistered marriages in Pekan Heran Village, West Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency and the legal consequences caused according to Marriage Law Number 1 of 1974. The research method used is empirical legal research by means of field surveys and the type of research is descriptive. which describes the research clearly and completely. Based on the research, the authors conclude that the implementation of marriages in Pekan Heran Village is not registered at the Civil Registry Office, in order to ensure legal certainty and facilitate administrative affairs in the future. Then, the legal consequence of this unregistered marriage is that there are disadvantaged parties such as wives and children. For a wife, she cannot claim her rights under Indonesian law and for a child born from an unregistered marriage, of course, the child cannot inherit his father's side. Abstract

Akta authentik merupakan akta yang dibuat oleh pejabat umum atau Notaris sebagai alat bukti sempurna yang ditentukan oleh Undang-Undang. Pembuatan akta authentik ini mengakibatkan munculnya suatu pertanggungjawaban yang harus diselesaikan oleh Notaris. Di sisi lain, Notaris juga bertanggungjawab terhadap akta formil maupun materiil. Dengan dilakukannya penelitian ini, maka pertanggungjawaban Notaris terhadap akta authentik yang dibuat oleh pihak yang tidak sah dapat kita telaah lebih dalam lagi. Kemudian akibat hukum terhadap akta authentik yang dibuat dihadapan Notaris ketika memuat keterangan yang tidak benar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah hukum normatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan (statute approach) dan pendekatan konseptual. Hasil analisis pada penelitian ini menunjukkan pertanggungjawaban Notaris harus sesuai terhadap akta authentik yang berlaku secara undang-undang, tidak ada lagi pihak yang mengintervensi para Notaris tersebut. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, hendaknya Notaris berhari-hati dalam melakukan pelayanan terhadap para pihak yang membuat akta authentik meskipun dihadapan Notaris. Selain itu, kesadaran hukum sangat diperlukan bagi masyarakat mengenai akta authentik serta peningkatan kepastian hukum untuk para Notaris dengan memberikan sanksi yang tegas.
