Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of service quality and price on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable, at PT Usaha Tangguh Mandiri, a food distribution company. A quantitative approach was employed in this research, with data collected using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The sample consisted of 72 respondents who are active customers of the company. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The analysis results indicate that price has a significant impact on customer satisfaction, while customer satisfaction positively influences customer loyalty. Additionally, service quality was found to have a direct significant effect on customer loyalty. However, the study did not find a significant influence of service quality on customer satisfaction, price on customer loyalty, or the mediating effect of customer satisfaction in the relationship between service quality and price on customer loyalty. These findings provide valuable insights for the company in formulating more effective marketing strategies to enhance customer loyalty, focusing on elements that have a significant impact.

Abstract

Employee performance is not only seen at the top manager level, but must also be seen at the middle manager and subordinates or staff. If only top managers have high performance, then the quality of service perceived by the public will remain low. This is because the implementers in the field are actually staff. This research is quantitative verification research using the causality method with a survey approach. Researchers use all members of the population as research objects. The total population in the study was 131 employees of the Regional Civil Service Agency for the West Java Provincial Government. The analytical tools used in this research are SEM (Partial Least Square). The results of the research state that 1) Competency, Job Placement, Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance have good criteria at the Regional Civil Service Agency of West Java Province, 2) Competency has a positive influence on the performance of employees at the Regional Civil Service Agency of West Java Province, 3) Job Placement has a positive influence on the performance of employees at the Regional Civil Service Agency of West Java Province, 4) Job Satisfaction has a positive influence on employee performance at the Regional Civil Service Agency of West Java Province, 5) There is Competence on Employee Performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, 6) There is Job Placement on Employee Performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Kualitas kelulusan pendidikan tinggi yang masih belum memenuhi harapan dan standar kompetensi kerja, dampak globalisasi yang akan menciptakan persaingan ketat perlu disikapi dengan mempersiapkan kualitas kelulusan pendidikan tinggi yang mampu bersaing. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menyusun strategi meningkatkan kualitas lulusan Universitas Swasta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Widyatama Bandung. Dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 alumni yang telah bekerja. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada para alumni. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat gap yang paling besar pada kompetensi kemampuan penguasaan komputerisasi dan Bahasa Asing. Diikuti kompetensi kemampuan Kepemimpinan, Kerjasama Tim dan berkomunikasi baik lisan dan tulisan dengan baik , Negosiasi, penguasaan IT dan Integrasi. Sehingga bagian ini perlu dilakukan upaya untuk memperkecil gap bahkan menghilangkannya. Strategi yang dapat dilakukan oleh pihak Universitas Swasta adalah perbaikan terhadap pelaksanaan universitas, menerapkan Merdeka belajar dan kampus merdeka, menjalin kerjasama dengan pihak Industri, universitas lain baik Negeri/Swasta yang ada di Dalam Negeri maupun di Luar Negeri.

Abstract

The increasing volume of plastic waste, particularly Polypropylene (PP), has become a significant environmental challenge in Indonesia while simultaneously creating economic opportunities through the development of plastic recycling businesses. Along with growing industrial awareness of environmentally friendly raw materials and sustainable waste management policies, demand for recycled plastic materials continues to increase. This study aims to formulate and analyze the feasibility of a business development plan for a Polypropylene (PP) plastic grinding enterprise operated by CV Yuki Marshall as a supplier of recycled plastic raw materials for manufacturing industries and downstream recycling companies. The research method employs a business feasibility study using a descriptive-analytical approach, covering market, operational, and financial aspects. Financial analysis is conducted through three-year cash flow projections under pessimistic, moderate, and optimistic scenarios, and investment feasibility is evaluated using Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period indicators. The results indicate that the Polypropylene plastic grinding business of CV Yuki Marshall has strong prospects and is feasible for further development. The feasibility is supported by stable market potential, efficient operational processes, and positive financial performance. In addition to generating economic benefits, this business also contributes to plastic waste reduction and supports sustainable environmental management.
