Abstract

Visual communication is a way of communicating through a visual picture or later will be the identity of the product. Visual communication into a means of conveying information and instructions fatherly, aims to show the relationship between a thing with other things such as pointers, direction, position, and scale. Taking one brand from Surabaya namely Revolt Industry to do the design of visual communication Revolt Industry uses photography as an effort to increase brand awareness. Problems in this final project is how to design a visual communication in Revolt Industry products such as efforts to increase brand awareness in order to increase sales had declined in the last 6 months. The research method uses qualitative methods with data collection technique using observation, interviews, literature, existing studies, and study competitors. The concept used in the design is "interesting". Results from the design of the visual communication industry Revolt is an attempt to communicate the products Revolt Industry so that more people know Revolt Industry as well as educate the public about the quality of handmade goods. Designed visual communication is a form of image products Revolt community Industry to easily recognize and remember the product.Keywords: Visual Communications, Photography, Interesting, Brand Awareness.

Abstract

The purpose of this illustration book design is to make it easier for deaf children learn to know the names of professions. Research conducted using qualitative research methods, namely by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library and study to get the data used as the supporter of the creation of the concept of the design of book illustration. The data were analyzed by using multiple stages, namely the reduction of the data, the presentation of data and conclusions. From the analysis of the data found some keywords which refer to illustration design strategies that will be used to reach the target audiance who ditujuh. After analysis of the data, the concept of virtue or keyword design book illustrations of "creative". Description of creative concepts is the concept of "creative" aims to be able to represent in designing illustrations to introduce to the deaf children the names of the profession as a main target to know and understand mencobauntuk would like to draw attention to the names of the profession with the language of SIBI. Keywords: Book Illustration, SIBI, Deaf

Abstract

Wapand Resto Eduentainment is a company which run in a culinary field with their specialty in Chinese and Javanese cuisine made with halal ingredients. Main dishes which usually used in other menus are chicken, shrimp, fish, squid and beef. Wapand also has a huge area which contain fishing pond, ferris wheel, and boutique. But until now, Wapand Resto Eduentainment doesn’t have corporate identity that represent the company which run in a culinary field as well the promotion media. Wapand’s condition right now doesn’t have a logogram which can represent halal culinary company of Chinese and Javanese cuisine, has different logos in every promotion medias, also using red, black, white and yellow as their color identity. So the effort that cneeds to be done for Wapand to represent their culinary business and to compete in a creative industry right now, is to re-design their company’s logo.                Keywords: Resto, Corporate Identity, Brand Awareness

Abstract

The purpose of designing a book based green iguana reptile introduction of photography as a means of information for the people of Surabaya. To introduce and provide a knowledge of the green iguana reptiles, and also provides maintenance information reptile green iguana well. Further studies conducted using qualitative research methods are observation, interviews, documentation, and literature. To obtain the data used and supports the creation of a book-based green iguana reptile introduction of photography as a means of information for the people of Surabaya. Data were analyzed using multiple stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. After analyzing the data, found a book concept based green iguana reptile introduction of photography as a means of information for the people of Surabaya. Keyword "Beauty", the description of "beauty" is a state of unsightly nature and character of a person, place, object, or idea that provides perceptual experience of pleasure, meaning, or satisfaction. An entity that is admired, has a feature that is associated in perfection. Abstract

Permasalahan pada tugas akhir ini adalah bagaimana Bagaimana merancang ilustrasi tarian pada Wayang Topeng Jatiduwur dengan teknik digital painting sebagai upaya untuk mengenalkan budaya masyarakat kabupaten jombang. Masyarakat begitu awam dengan keberadan tarian Wayang Topeng Jatiduwur meskipun mereka berada dikabupaten Jombang itu sendiri. Dengan begitu solusi yang akan diberikan adalah suatu aplikasi dalam bentuk buku ilustrasi yang fungsinya untuk memberitahukan informasi tentang tarian Wayang Topeng Jatiduwur kepada masyarakat kabupaten Jombang agar mereka mengetahui kesenian budaya asal kabupaten Jombang.

Abstract

Safety riding is a principle or knowledge of riding with safe , where the rider behavior must have adequate levels of security for oneself and others . The rapid growth in the number of vehicles and  driver  in Indonesia is not balanced with the sufficient increase of enough safety for motorcycle rider, the number of accidents is realy high , especially the case of accidents in adolescents , it is extremely dangerous given the teens are the future generation of a nation . The number of accident rate indicates a lack of awareness of road safety , there are still many who do not consider road safety is something that should be prioritized while ride a motorcycle . Therefore, this study aims to create a book of safety riding with caricature illustration techniques to raise awareness of road safety for young people in Surabaya.Keyword: Safety Riding Book, Awarness, Caricature Illustration, Outstanding

Abstract

The book is a print media that plays a role to provide educational information to all circles of society, pop-up books are books that contain an interactive element when opened and as if there was an object or object that emerged from within a pop-up book that provides  visualization  which  are  interesting. Indonesia has many cultural heritages, one of them is keris. But many do not know about the process of making keris, but behind the process of making kris and kris itself there are values  of life. This  is based on the results of interviews conducted on mpu kris making, teachers of art and culture experts history. The lack of knowledge on keris causes the low appreciation of the community, especially the children in Solo about the kris and its manufacturing process. Departing from the problem, this research   is intended to design the book Pop-Up keris making In Padepokan Brojobuwono Karanganyar with V- Folding technique as a medium of introduction to the children. Kata Kunci: Buku Pop-Up, Warisan Budaya Indonesia, Proses Pembuatan Keris

Abstract

President Ir. Soekarno is a hero who inspired many people in Indonesia. But many people is unknowning about a precious objects relics of President Ir. Soekarno, for example found 23 units of antique presidential car ever used by President Ir. Soekarno to lead him to carry out his duties as a leader of the Indonesian state. In fact, not all of people, especially of Surabaya know what antique car ever used by President Ir. Soekarno in his tenure. This is based on the results of interviews conducted by several collectors who became resource persons. Lack of knowledge on President Ir. Sukarno led to low public awareness, especially in Surabaya about Presidential antique presidential car. Sukarno. Abstract

Everything to do with tattoos, must relate to the criminal offense has been stuck in our minds. Bad image to those who have a tattoo on the body has confined the creativity of some people. The reason is, there is a presumption that all criminals caught certainly had marks on his body called tattoo. Tattoos have long known to humanity. That said, one of the expressions of tattoos as works of art has existed since several centuries BC in some tribes. Tattooing or body painting or tattoo is an image or symbol that is engraved on the skin using a needle similar tools. Usually, images and symbols that are decorated with colorful pigments. In the old days, people are still using manual techniques and traditional materials to tattoo someone. Now, people have been using the needle of iron, which is sometimes driven by the engine to "carve out" a tattoo. Based on the bad image of the tattoo community, the researchers tried to bridge to make the book as an effort to improve the image of the tattoo. Advantage of using the media guide in this research is to arouse the reader's emotions to be able to hold it directly, feel, and see the details of how the contents contained in the book. The function of the book itself is to convey information in the form of stories, knowledge, reports, and others. The book can hold a lot of information depends on the number of pages it has. Kata Kunci: Buku Estetika Tato, Fotografi Tato, Citra Tato, Clear.

Abstract

The lack of understanding the society to children with special needs verbally and physically makes people do not know how to behave and communicate with them. Mentally Disabled is one of the children with special needs due to the condition of the child has far below the average of intelligence, which is characterized by the limitations of intelligence and inadequacy in social interaction. Based on the case, researchers want to design the learning Media that contains about the kind of alphabet. This research uses qualitative method by observation, interview, documentation and literature study to get data for designing the Media. This Media is a useful Pop Up Book as a medium of learning and media to introduce some stories to children with Mentally Disabled.
