Abstract

Mineral resources, coal, and rock are one of the potentials possessed by Indonesia to be able to earn income from the mining sector. West Bandung Regency is one of the areas that have quite a lot of potential rock and mineral resources. The potential of this area is quite large, namely andesite rock, sand, limestone, and sandstone. Zeolite and others. On the other hand, the West Bandung area has a high potential and threat of being a disaster-prone. West Bandung Regency has the highest number of natural disasters occurring in the type of landslide disaster, which occurred 52 times in the period 2008-2016, or 68% of all disasters. Loss of economic value also occurs for mining material resources which are limited by the existence of a disaster zone. So it is necessary to carry out mitigation from the start to map disaster areas that have an impact on the distribution and existence of mining material resources. This study aims to identify and analyze the potential of rock resources in disaster-prone areas, so as to be able to prioritize conservation aspects for potential mining materials. The method used in this research is through literature study, mapping the potential of mining materials, mapping the potential of disaster-prone areas, processing of secondary data, and analysis using remote sensing. The results of this study are that the rocks in the West Bandung area are divided into groups of volcanic rocks, sedimentary rocks, and alluvial deposits. The volcanic rock group got a score of 3 because it was considered more prone to erosions than the sedimentary and alluvial rock groups which were scored 2 and 1. with a weighted level of disaster vulnerability. The zone of high disaster susceptibility is considered to have the highest probability of a disaster occurring. Therefore, in the final result, the overlap between the distribution of the potential for minerals and the zone of high disaster susceptibility results in a potential area for minerals that are relatively safe from disasters, both soil movement, and flooding. Potential mining resources in West Bandung Regency are Andesite basalt 1,860,412 ha (1.43%), Limestone 667.05 ha (0.50%), Sirtu 40,949.76 ha (31.35%%).

Abstract

Abstract. CV. XYZ is a company engaged in the mining sector with gravel and sand commodities. The company is located in Margaluyu Village, Leles District, Garut Regency, West Java Province. To increase the quantity of sirtu from mining activities, CV. XYZ has designed a crushing plant with a production target of 120 tons/hour. The sirtu processing activities at CV. XYZ's crushing plant consist of five stages: feeding using a vibrating feeder, primary crushing with a jaw crusher, secondary crushing with a cone crusher, tertiary crushing with a cone crusher, and sizing using a vibrating screen. The crushing plant unit is also supported by auxiliary equipment such as hoppers and belt conveyors. The feed entering the process is 125 tons/hour with material size up to 500 mm, assuming that 95% of the material will be processed and 5% considered as impurities. The equipment used in the crushing plant includes one hopper with a capacity of 101.6 m³, one vibrating feeder ZSW600x130, one jaw crusher PE-600x900, one cone crusher PYB-1200, one cone crusher PYB-600, one vibrating screen 3YK1548, and seven belt conveyors. The final product is divided into three types: fraction 1 (-20+10 cm), fraction 2 (-10+5 cm), and stone dust (-0.5 cm), with a total production of 124.47 tons/hour. The design of the crushing plant successfully meets the production target of 120 tons/hour. Abstrak. CV. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pertambangan dengan komoditas bahan galian sirtu, berlokasi di Desa Margaluyu, Kecamatan Leles, Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat. CV. XYZ merancang crushing plant dengan target produksi 120 ton/jam. Proses pengolahan sirtu di unit crushing plant terdiri dari lima tahapan: pengumpanan menggunakan vibrating feeder, primary crushing dengan jaw crusher, secondary crushing dengan cone crusher, tertiary crushing dengan cone crusher, dan sizing menggunakan vibrating screen. Unit ini juga didukung oleh alat penunjang seperti hopper dan belt conveyor. Feed yang masuk sebanyak 125 ton/jam dengan ukuran material 500 mm, dengan asumsi 95% material diolah dan 5% sebagai pengotor. Peralatan yang digunakan meliputi satu hopper dengan kapasitas 101,6 m³, satu vibrating feeder ZSW600x130, satu jaw crusher PE-600x900, satu cone crusher PYB-1200, satu cone crusher PYB-600, satu vibrating screen 3YK1548, dan tujuh belt conveyor. Produk akhir dibagi menjadi tiga jenis: fraksi 1 (-20+10 cm), fraksi 2 (-10+5 cm), dan abu batu (-0,5 cm), dengan total produksi mencapai 124,47 ton/jam. Hasil perancangan crushing plant ini berhasil memenuhi target produksi 120 ton/jam.

Abstract

Abstract. Coal is a sedimentary rock produced from peat and rock formation processes in swamp basins. Indonesia has a coal-producing State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN), namely PT XYZ Tbk, which is located in Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra. In general, coal will experience a decrease in quality due to self-burning and long storage times (livestock). Spontaneous combustion is a self-combustion process without any external heat source due to an exothermic oxidation response, which causes an increase in temperature. Spontaneous combustion that occurs in coal causes the coal to be separated from stockpiles and cannot be sold; if this continues continuously, it will result in losses for the company. Research results are divided into research observations and research measurements. Based on these results, this research reveals that several factors, such as embankment temperature, environmental temperature, wind direction, wind speed, trenching system, demolition system, and embankment system, influence the causes of spontaneous combustion at PT XYZ Tanjung Enim. Spontaneous combustion can be prevented through LIFO management in the demolition system, controlling the stockpile height, trenching system, and compacting the stockpile. Meanwhile, preventing spontaneous combustion can be done through LIFO management in the demolition system, controlling the stockpile height, trenching system, and compacting the stockpile. Abstrak. Batubara merupakan jenis batuan sedimen yang dihasilkan dari proses penggambutan dan pembatubaraan dalam cekungan di rawa-rawa. Indonesia memiliki perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) penghasil batubara yaitu PT XYZ Tbk yang terletak di Tanjung Enim, Sumatera Selatan. Pada umumnya, batubara akan mengalami penurunan kualitas yang disebabkan oleh terjadinya swabakar akibat waktu penyimpanan yang lama. Swabakar (Spontaneous combustion) adalah proses pembakaran tanpa adanya sumber panas dari luar dikarenakan respon oksidasi eksotermis yang menyebabkan peningkatan temperatur. Swabakar yang terjadi pada batubara menyebabkan batubara tersebut harus dipisahkan dari timbunan dan tidak dapat dijual, apabila hal ini berlangsung secara terus menerus akan mengakibatkan kerugian pada perusahaan. Hasil penelitian dibagi menjadi pengamatan penelitian dan pengukuran penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa penyebab terjadinya swabakar di PT XYZ Tanjung Enim dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti temperatur timbunan, temperatur lingkungan, arah angin, kecepatan angin, sistem paritan, sistem pembongkaran, dan sistem penimbunan. Sementara itu, untuk mencegah swabakar maka dapat dilakukan melalui manajemen LIFO pada sistem pembongkaran, melakukan kontrol pada ketinggian stockpile, sistem paritan, dan juga dilakukannya pemadatan pada stockpile.

The formation of the Tin Path in Indonesia from the Riau Islands to the Bangka Belitung Islands cannot be separated from the tectonic order of Southeast Asia, especially Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia, this is because these areas were formed through the same geological process and period of tectonism. Abstract

Radio StArt FM merupakan salah satu media komunikasi yang masih eksis di era digital, khususnya di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Sebagai radio yang berorientasi pada pelestarian budaya, StArt FM menghadapi tantangan akibat perkembangan teknologi dan arus globalisasi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, strategi digitalisasi diterapkan dengan mengembangkan platform streaming, media sosial, serta konten berbasis budaya Mandailing. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan, seperti analisis situasi, pelatihan digitalisasi penyiaran, penguatan konten budaya, kolaborasi dengan komunitas, serta evaluasi dan monitoring. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi mampu meningkatkan kualitas siaran, memperluas jangkauan audiens, serta memperkuat interaksi dengan masyarakat. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur digital dan literasi digital penyiar yang masih perlu ditingkatkan. Upaya berkelanjutan, seperti pelatihan serta kerja sama dengan pemerintah dan komunitas lokal, menjadi langkah strategis dalam menjaga eksistensi dan fungsi radio sebagai media edukasi serta pelestarian budaya di era digital.
