Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini: (1)mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbantuan infografis pada pembelajaran sejarah peminatan kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 13 Semarang tahun ajaran 2017/2018. (2)menjelaskan peningkatan minat membaca pada pembelajaran sejarah peminatan kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 13 Semarang tahun ajaran 2017/2018 setelah melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbantuan infografis. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan minat membaca peserta didik setelah melalui model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbatuan infografis. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata presentase hasil analisis angket respon peserta didik dari siklus I ke II, rata-rata presentase hasil analisis lembar pengamatan observer (guru sejawat) terhadap peserta didik selama KBM dari siklus I dan II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 8%, dan hasil analisis rata-rata presentase pengamatan observer terhadap guru kelas selama KBM di kelas mengalami peningkatan sebesar 3%. Adanya minat peserta didik ini juga dapat dilihat ciri-ciri seseorang yang memiliki minat menurut Walgito, dari 5 indikator yang ada terdapat 3 indikator dari hasil analisis angket respon peserta didik yang tidak terdapat peningkatan. Meskipun demikian, ketiga indikator tersebut telah memenuhi kriteria indikator pencapaian dalam penelitian ini yaitu cukup, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan minat membaca, meskipun tidak terlalu signifikan. Saran yang dapat diberikan yaitu media infografis mengenai Kerajaan Demak dan Kerajaan Lombok yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia.

Abstract

The introduction of the state of the environment, society, and culture to students enabling them to more to their environment. The introduction and development of the environment through education geared to support the quality of human resources, and ultimately directed to improve the ability of learners. School as a place of education program, a part of the community. Therefore, education programs in schools need to provide extensive knowledge about the specificity of the learners in their environment. Subjects should be made based on local content prepared by the school environment that is tailored to each area. The function of the existence of local content is to broaden the knowledge of students in accordance with the condition of the area. Local content is one of the means for students to develop the knowledge, skills and potential of art owned by the school and the area in which the school is located. Application of local curriculum between one region to another is different. To realize local content -based education at a school needs support with all relevant stakeholders and continuously evaluates to develop the potential of the region. It is not impossible a local charge when packaged in a professional manner will carry the name of the region to national and even international level. Required more in-depth study and togetherness between schools, communities, local governments for the successful implementation of the local content -based education.

Abstract

Abstract

Background: Teeth discoloration is one of the adverse effects of orthodontic treatment which causes aesthetic issues that effect on a person’s appearance. The management of teeth discoloration can be done with bleaching because it is easier to perform, faster, more effective, and more conservative than other treatments such as crowns and veneers. There are two types of bleaching techniques supervised by dentists: home bleaching and in-office bleaching. In-office bleaching is one of the most conservative and non-invasive treatment options to restore the aesthetics of discolored teeth. Purpose: This case report observes management of tooth discoloration after orthodontic treatment with in office bleaching using hydrogen peroxide 40%. Case 1: A 24-year-old woman came to Universitas Hasanuddin Dental and Oral Hospital with complaints of yellowish upper and lower teeth after removal of her fixed orthodontic appliance. Case 2: A 24 years old woman came to Universitas Hasanuddin Dental and Oral Hospital with complaints of upper and lower front teeth appearing yellowish in color, noticed from 2 years ago and had undergone orthodontic treatment for four years. Case Management: From clinical examination, both patients’ teeth have no history of caries, sensitive tooth and gingival recession. The Teeth were sensitive to vitality test. The discoloration was treated with external bleaching using 40% hydrogen peroxide. Conclusion: External Bleaching using 40% hydrogen peroxide have results in significant discoloration without changing the shape and arrangement of the patient’s teeth

Abstract

Diskolorasi gigi merupakan masalah estetik yang dapat disebabkan oleh faktor intrinsik, faktor ekstrinsik, atau kombinasi keduanya. Salah satu perawatan pada kasus diskolorisasi gigi adalah bleaching eksternal dengan keunikan perawatan pendekatan minimal invasif untuk mendapatkan hasil estetik yang baik pada diskolorasi gigi ekstrinsik. Tujuan laporan kasus ini adalah untuk menyampaikan penatalaksanaan diskolorasi gigi ekstrinsik pada pasien dengan perawatan minimal invasif. Laki-laki berusia 22 tahun datang dengan keluhan gigi depan rahang atas dan rahang bawah bawah tampak berwarna kuning dan pasien ingin memutihkan giginya. Pada gigi pasiendilakukan perawatan minimal invasif dengan prosedur bleaching eksternal teknik in-office bleaching menggunakan bahan hidrogen peroksida (H2O2) konsentrasi 40%. Penatalaksanaan pada gigi yang mengalami diskolorasi gigi ekstrinsik adalah perawatan bleaching eksternal dengan teknik in-office bleaching karena merupakan perawatan minimal invasif yang dapat memberikan hasil perubahan warna dengan prosedur yang lebih cepat.

Abstract

Tujuan - Tujuan dari pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah memberi pengetahuan kepada masyarakat terutama para pelaku UMKM dan generasi muda tentang digital marketing di Desa Kayugiyang, Kecamatan Garung, Kabupaten Wonosobo, pelatihan pemasaran dengan menggunakan media internet. Metode - Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap diantaranya survei lokasi kegiatan dan UMKM di desa Kayugiyang. Tahap perencanaan, tahap ini merupakan tahap penyusunan rencana dan mengidentifikasi perencanaan progam yang akan dilaksanakan kemudian dirumuskan berbagai kebutuhan dalam perencanaan sistem pemasaran secara online. Sosialisasi, kegiatan sosialiasi memberikan pengetahuan awal mengenai pemasaran secara online kepada masyarakat atau pelaku UMKM di desa Kayugiyang serta memberikan penyampaian rancangan program kegiatan apa saja yang akan dilakukan. Pelaksanaan, tahap ini melakukan kegiatan pendaftaran akun google business bagi masyarakat yang memiliki usaha. Evaluasi, kegiatan ini dilakukan setelah menyelesaikan program kegiatan. Hasil – Masyarakat sangat antusias ditandai dengan banyak peserta yang hadir dalam pelatihan digital marketing untuk peningkatan UMKM di desa Kayugiyang, Kecamatan Garung, Kabupaten Wonosobo.

Abstract

Postwar American society developed severe views on how men and women should behave, with family structure being the best way to grow the nation. In the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, print ads depicted women as housewives, feminine, self-conscious, and eager to please their spouses. Print ads deceived women by persuading them that appearance and seductive attractiveness in real life were what counted. Women's bodies became objects, which might desensitize them and normalize sexism. The American male-dominated culture shapes and reflects print ads' portrayals of women. American print ads have shaped society by leveraging real-world symbols to convince consumers that the products they see are part of their lives. This research is methodically analyzed using the feminist theory of Betty Friedan (1963) and the gender theory of Erving Goffman (1979) to examine how women are portrayed and how sexism is depicted in 30 selected American men’s apparel print ads from the 1950s–1970s. The results found that American print ads developed a sense of pride in women’s efforts to maintain the house or prioritize the requirements of their partner. Women have been portrayed as everything from incompetent to sexual objects. They expected to find fulfillment in a society of masculine dominance.

Abstract

Objective: This case report aimed to describe the restoration of endodontically treated mandibular molar tooth with semi-indirect bonded restoration using single shade composite resin.Methods: Endodontic treatment for tooth #36 with asymptomatic irreversible pulpitis. After root canal obturation, treatment was continued with semi-indirect bonded restoration using single shade composite resin. An impression was taken using alginate and then poured with silicone material (Silicone Die, Voco) to produce the model. Single shade composite resin (Omnichroma, Tokoyama Dental) was used to build up the restoration layer by layer in 2 mm increments up to the occlusal surface.Results: After 1 month of control, objective and subjective examinations were carried out on the patient, there were no complaints, indicating the tooth is functioning well and the patient is satisfied with the restorationConclusion: Restoration of endodontically treated mandibular molar tooth with semi-indirect bonded restoration using single shade composite resin in this case gives satisfactory results to restore function and esthetics

Abstract

Objective: This case report aims to describe the treatment of open apex on maxillary incisors by performing an apical plug with MTA to induce the formation of a calcified barrier.Method: A 7-year-old female was referred with a fracture on upper right front tooth. Intraoral examination showed fracture on maxillary right central incisor with swollen gums in labial region. Periapical radiograph revealed a wide root canal with open apex and radiolucency. The diagnosis was pulpal necrosis with acute apical abscess.Results: Traumatized immature permanent teeth can cause pulpal necrosis, which can progress to an acute apical abscess. Abstract

Objective: This case report describes an endodontic reintervention of the maxillary premolar teeth.Methods: A 57-year-old female patient came to RSGMP UNHAS with complained of pain in maxillary teeth when chewing or biting has been felt since the last 1 month. This tooth was treated about 2 years ago. On clinical examination, there was a fracture composite restoration. Radiographs revealed inadequate root canal obturation and periapical radiolucency. Based on subjective and objective examination the dental diagnosis was previously treated. radiolucency. Based on subjective and objective examination the dental diagnosis was previously treated.Result: After treatment, the subjective and objective complaints of the patient have disappeared and when control is carried out one year after treatment it appears on the radiological picture the lesion has improved.Conclusion: Endodontic reintervention is an effective alternative that can be done to treat endodontic failure.
