Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between spiritual intelligence and interest in learning in class IV students at SD Negeri 01 Sui. Ukoi. The method used is a quantitative method, with a form of correlation research. The research population came from fourth grade students using saturated sampling. Based on the results of the spiritual intelligence questionnaire, an average of 83.12 was obtained in the very good category. Meanwhile, students' interest in learning was obtained on average 71.48, which is included in the good category. Based on the calculation results from the significant test analysis, tcount>ttable is 3.807 > 2.069. Thus, based on the test criteria that have been determined, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. As a conclusion, there is a significant relationship between spiritual intelligence and interest in learning in fourth grade students in elementary school.

Abstract

This research aims to describe speaking skills in fifth grade elementary school students using the role playing method. This research conducted by qualitative approach through classroom action research. The subjects in this research were fifth grade students at SD Negeri 05 Gurung. Data collection uses observation and interview techniques. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and drawing/conclusions. The results of the research stated that speaking skills with the aspects assessed in the test, namely aspects of pronunciation, intonation and vocabulary, after applying the role-playing method in thematic learning increased by an average of 16.7 points from the average in cycle I of 68.3 to 85 at the end cycle II. These results also indicate an increase of 40% in learning completion from 60% of students who completed in cycle I to 100% completion in cycle II. So the use of the role playing method is very suitable as a learning method. Students also responded in the very good category to the use of role playing methods in thematic learning. Thus, the role playing method is able to improve speaking skills in fifth grade elementary school students, and is recommended for use in learning speaking skills.

media in first-grade students at SD Negeri 03 Nanga Ngeri. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) as its method. The subjects were 13 first-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation sheets, interviews, test questions, and documentation. Data analysis followed stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that: (1) the learning process using counting cards ran effectively, as evidenced by teacher activity scores increasing from 81.25 (good) in cycle I to 93.75 (very good) in cycle II; (2) students’ counting skills improved significantly, with the average score rising from 50.76 in cycle I (38.46% classical completeness) to 80.76 in cycle II (84.61% classical completeness); (3) students’ responses were very positive, showing enthusiasm and enjoyment in using counting cards. It can be concluded that the use of counting card media effectively enhances the counting skills of first-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of using number line media on students’ learning outcomes in addition and subtraction of integers for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 17 Baning Sungai Ana Sintang. This research employed a quantitative quasi-experimental design, and data were analyzed using SPSS Statistic 25.0. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 ? 0.05, indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores in the experimental class, which increased from 49 to 89. The comparison between the experimental and control classes revealed a t-value of 5.218 > t-table 1.688, confirming that the experimental class achieved better learning outcomes. Teacher response questionnaires showed a percentage of 82%, and student response questionnaires showed 92%, indicating very strong approval. It is concluded that the use of number line media effectively improves students’ understanding and performance in integer operations. Future researchers are suggested to select materials that align with the use of number line media to further enhance the quality and effectiveness of the study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the song Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 29 Nenak Tembulan, Sintang, West Kalimantan. The study employed a qualitative research design using a taxonomic analysis approach. The research subjects included teachers, school administrators, students of SD Negeri 29 Nenak Tembulan, and experts in education and music learning. Data collection was carried out through perception-based observations and music listening activities. Data were analyzed through field observations and by examining the students' conditions in the classroom while listening to the song Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa. The results indicated that, based on observations, students showed seriousness and spontaneously sang Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa. After listening to the song, students' learning motivation increased, as evidenced by their enthusiasm in singing and internalizing the message of the song. Following the singing activity, students appeared more refreshed, more enthusiastic about receiving lessons, and more prepared for learning activities. This study offers insights for classroom teachers, suggesting that listening to or singing a national song before beginning a lesson can positively impact students' learning motivation.
