The decline of moral values that occur in the community is increasingly of concern, especially among students/learners. We know that students are now increasingly becoming so immoral, a lot of students who are immoral even dare to kill their teacher. The education of moral values must be inserted in any language and literature learning, one of them by reading a short story which has a lot of good moral values. This study aims to analyze the forms of moral values that contained in the short story entitled Malam Terakhir. This analysis uses a structural approach to read and identify the intrinsic elements of the short story. Data collection in this research by reading and marking the text or sentence that is included moral values. So moral values that contained in the short story are easily identified. Based on the results of the analysis of the short story collection “Malam Terakhir" contain a lot of the moral value that deserves to be emulated, as in a collection of short stories containing moral values, namely the value of a good example on the title, as well as the value of honesty in the title of "Untuk Bapak”, value of caring each other on title “Sepasang Mata Menatap Rain”, and the value of the advice on the title of “Adila”. The value is identified from some of the events and characters in these short stories.Keyword : moral values, short stories, structural approach.

The use of teaching materials during learning activities needs to be maximized so that the delivery of the material is more interesting and triggers the activeness of students in the class. Based on the results of online interviews and comparative analysis of two different theses, the produced special teaching materials using prezi with qualitative descriptive methods. From the results obtained, the analysis criteria include (1) material or content, (2) presentation of material, (3) suitability of material with student characteristics, (4) readability, and (5) language. The final product of this research is teaching material in the form of a guidebook of the preparation of teaching materials which contains four parts, namely (1) getting to know the prezi application, (2) the steps for making teaching materials using the prezi application, (3) writing biographical texts using the prezi application, and (4) Examples of teaching materials for writing biographical texts use the prezi application with the role playing method. The assessment of the feasibility of designing teaching materials was carried out by three judgement experts. Two lecturers of Indonesian Language and Literature Education at the IKIP Siliwangi and an Indonesian language subject teacher. The result of the combined validity is 94.73% with very valid category, it can be used but it needs a small revision. It is hoped that this research will make it easier for teachers to convey biographical text material for 10th grade students and be able to improve students' writing skills.

In the development of this era, literary works are easier to enter in the lives of literary connoisseurs, literary works that are often encountered in society, one of which is short stories or we often call short stories. A short story but has a very important meaning in life, has moral and social values related to today's era. As in the short story "The True Man" by Putu Wijaya, which has a high imagination, and the process of telling a coherent story content needs to be given an appropriate assessment by familiar characters, namely a mother and her daughter who are conducting a question and answer process about the life of a real man. in this day and age. This study aims to analyze the moral and social values in the short story of the True Man by Putu Wijaya. This research can be useful for readers and can improve the ability to analyze the moral and social values contained in the short story. The method in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data source is taken from one of Hardiyanti Nurill's blogs on the Internet. The data were analyzed using a sociology of literature approach, namely analyzing and interpreting moral and social values. The results of the analysis found the moral and social values of the short story for a real man, namely, the moral value contained in Putu Wijaya's short story for a real man is in the part when the mother explains what a real man looks like to her teenage daughter. The social value contained in the short story is in the section where a young woman asks her mother about what a real man is like.

In this research the aim to describe of to know the students in teaching writing anecdote text using discovery learning at SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok. The research used experimental method one group pretest-postest design. The population of this research was taken from second-grade students of SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok. While the sample was 25 students of class X TKR 3, the instrument used in this research was tested pretest and posttest and lesson plan of teaching material. Data analysis show that the result of this research is the mean of pretest was 39, 32 and after students got the treatment mean of posttest was 70,46. The result of this research the students teaching writing anecdote text increase of 31.14. whilethgeresult of T-sig was (2-tailed) 0,000. Based on the data above, the hypothesis in this research was accepted, because the mean of posttest was higher than a mean of the pretest. It is concluded that discovery learning method improves students writing anecdote text at SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok.

This research aims to analyze the locution which is contained in the book short stories anthology entitled Mawar Hitam by Candra Malik. The method in this research is the descriptive method by using structural approach. The sources of the data in this research are 5 short stories from overall short story which amounted 20. The data in this research are quotations obtained from the analysis that show the use of locution. The locution that focuses on this research are repetition, assonance, hyperbola, paradox, personification, and periphrasis. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded: (1) locution of repetition cover 5, assonance cover 10, hyperbola cover 4, paradox cover 2, personification cover 5 and periphrasis cover 6. Amounted of 32 uses of locution on five short stories that have been analyzed; (2) the short story with using the most locution is the short story entitled Membaca Tubuhmu, with using 12 of locution. The short story with the least use of locution is the short story entitled Selimut Nona Clara, with using 4 locutions.

Semantic is a branch of linguistics that examines the meaning of words. The analysis of semantic is relates to the language and culture of people who use it. Occasionally, a same word has a different meaning or has an opposite meaning in the way it is use. For the example the Malay language which is the origin of Indonesian language. Apart from Indonesia, there are other countries that use Malay language which is called as Austronesia language. The countries that include to the Austronesia sociaty are Indonesia and Malaysia. This research examines the comparison meaning of Indonesian vocabulary with Malaysia using descriptive method. From the data collected, there are at least fiften world that have same pronunciation but have defferent meaning in their use. The objective of this study is how the Austronesia society are not wrong in interpreting and using it.

This study discusses the comparison the language acquisition of two years old different gender. The purpose of this study is to find out the utterances spoken by two children in the phonological aspect. This subject research is one boy and one girl, the age of both are two years old who is in research anvironment.the kind of this research use descriptive qualitative,because this research to show the result of research based on the fact that exist is empirically alive to the speakers the language acquisition process in childrens’ phonological aspects. the technique used to collect data by method of research pointing some picture of animal and fruit and make effort so that both of the child are mentioned the picture that have been provided by reserachers. After obtaining the data, then the data transcrioptioned into the written and the table that the researchers easly to review ing and describing change in phonemes uttered by both of child. The result of this research to show that from 20 speech of utterances by child two years old are sampled in this research, the change of sounds more likely occur in girl than boys. It can be seen from the result data of research that the boy is able to say (Cicak) clearly, while for girl when she says the word (Cicak) is only able to pronounce the end of vocabulary become (cak). The conclusion obtain is the process of language acquisition can be ionfluenced by gender.

This research is based on the low interest in reading among students. Reading as a core of literacy activities because by reading, other language skills will be mastered by itself. Literacy culture can be enhanced through reading material, one of which is fiction reading books. In other words, everyone has a tendency to like certain genre of books. Fiction can affect literacy culture because it is considered very popular and is popular with students with these factors increasing student reading interest when reading a fiction. The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of fiction on literacy culture. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method that describes data in the form of numbers with calculations through a simple linear regression formula. Data collected through question and questionnaire instruments filled out by students. Completion of questions and questionnaires was conducted on 30 students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education IKIP Siliwangi. The results of the study prove the significance level of 0.02 <0.05, the regression model can be used to predict the participation variable or in other words there is the influence of fiction story variables on literacy culture. It also shows that students tend to like fiction genre books compared to other genres. Therefore, these results prove the influence of fiction in literacy culture.

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengenai sosialisasi alat evaluasi khususnya alat penilaian hasil belajar berbasis TPACK menggunakan aplikasi testmoz kepada para guru di yayasan Miftahul Ihsan Al-Banjary, Kota Banjar Jawa Barat. Alat evaluasi tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi para guru dalam melaksanakan penilaian yang kekinian dan sesuai era saat ini yakni era digital dan industri 4.0, sehingga alat evaluasi tersebut dapat meningkatkan kualitas penilaian/assesmen secara daring. Metode yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pendidikan dan pelatihan. Tujuan pelatihan ini yaitu menyosialisasikan alat evaluasi menggunakan aplikasi testmoz sebagai implementasi dari pembelajaran abad 21. Berdasarkan hasil angket yang diperoleh dari 34 partisipan dihasilkan kepuasan peserta dalam mengikuti pelatihan, pemahaman peserta dan kebermaknaan peserta pelatihan termasuk kategori baik. Adapun hasil pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat membantu para guru dalam melaksanakan penilaian berbasis TPACK dan bisa meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Poetry is a series of words and lines created by the expression of feelings and thoughts that make up a literary work. To beautify the language of a poem, the style of language used must be clear. Joko Pinurbo is an Indonesian writer who creates various poems. The poetry he creates has a unique language characteristic, is simple and has deep allusions. This study aims to examine the style of language used in the poems by Joko Pinurbo. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative with the type of literature study. The source of data used in this research is Joko Pinurbo's poetry library. The poems studied were entitled “Pacar Senja”, “Selepas Usia 60”, and “Tukang Potret Keliling”, which were analyzed based on the phrases and figures of speech contained in them. The study of poetry is carried out with semiotics, namely a way of studying a poem by enjoying its markers. The results of the review of the three titles of Joko Pinurbo's poems above, it is stated that the three works contain symbols and symbols that have a specific purpose. The use of diction in his poems is quite simple as it is often used in everyday life and has a good sense of humor.
