Abstract

Curriculum 2013 has been implemented by the government at every level of school though gradually. This implementation requires educational practitioners particularly teachers to master a variety of learning support tools. This paper aims to examine and review the learning tools needed by a particular device for Curriculum 2013 assessment. Assessment as mandated by Curriculum 2013 is a competency-based assessment to measure attitudes, skills, and knowledge based on the process and learning outcomes. Incorporating an assessment of the process and learning outcomes, portfolio is the main instrument in the assessment. The portfolio that is commonly used nowadays has not addressed students’ characteristics and their learning styles. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang belum memiliki kompetensi optimal dalam menyusun RPP. Fenomena tersebut ditemukan pada saat mereka mengikuti PLPG dalam rangka serfitikasi guru di lingkungan Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Jawa Barat. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti berharap mampu mengidentifikasi hal-hal yang kurang dikuasai para guru, khususnya guru Bahasa Indonesia di Kota Cimahi dalam menyusun RPP sehingga hasil penelitian tersebut dapat memberi masukan kepada para guru atau pihak dinas pendidikan untuk membina para guru agar memiliki kemampuan dalam menyusun RPP sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya. Permasalahan penelitian dibatasi dalam hal 1) kesesuaian RPP yang ditulis guru dengan Permendiknas no. 41 tahun 2007 ; 2) kesalahan yang ditemukan dalam RPP mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang digunakan guru di lingkungan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi; 3) sikap guru terhadap penyusunan RPP; dan 4) faktor penyebab kesulitan para guru Bahasa Indonesia di lingkungan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi pada saat menyusun RPP. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berupa RPP yang disusun guru kelas 7,8, 9 sebanyak 8 sekolah tingkat SMP yang diambil secara acak. Metode yang digunakan berupa metode kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa 1) RPP yang disusun responden banyak mengandung ketidaksesuain dengan isi permendiknas nomor 41 tahun 2007 dalam komponen perumusan tujuan pembelajaran, penyajian materi ajar dan organisasinya, kejelasan dan kerincian skenario pembelajaran, kesesuain teknik/metode pembelajaran, dan kelengkapan instrumen penilaian; 2) kesalahan yang terdapat dalam RPP yang disusun responden berhubungan dengan komponen yang dijelaskan dalam poin 1 di atas; 3) responden memiliki sikap positif terhadap penyusunan RPP sehingga diperlukan pembinaan dan dorongan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mereka; 4) faktor penyebab kesalahan yang dilakukan responden pada penyusunan RPP disebabkan kekurangmampuan mereka dalam bidang pengetahuan (kognitif) teori penyusunan RPP sesuai tuntutan permendiknas nomor 41 tahun 2007. Kata Kunci: Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Guru Profesional ABSTRACT This research is motivated by a number of Indonesian teachers of subjects that do not have optimum competence in preparing the RPP. The phenomenon was discovered when they follow in order serfitikasi PLPG teacher in the Department of Education and Culture of West Java. Through this study, the researchers hope to be able to identify things that are less controlled by the teachers, especially teachers Indonesian in Cimahi in preparing lesson plans so that the results of such research can provide input to the teachers or the education department to train the teachers to have the ability to draw up RPP according to their expertise. Research problems are limited in terms of 1) the suitability of teachers' lesson plans written by Permendiknas no. 41 in 2007; 2) errors found in subjects Indonesian RPP used by teachers in the environment Cimahi City Department of Education; 3) attitudes of teachers towards the preparation of the RPP; and 4) the causes difficulty Indonesian teachers in the Education Office Cimahi when preparing lesson plans. The sample in this study are compiled RPP classroom teachers 7.8, 9 by 8 junior high schools were taken at random. The method used in the form of qualitative methods. Based on the analysis concluded that 1) RPP compiled respondent contains a lot of non-conformance with the contents Permendiknas number 41 of 2007 in the components of the formulation of learning goals, presentation of teaching material and organization, clarity and detail of learning scenario, suitability techniques / methods of learning, and completeness of assessment instruments; 2) the error contained in the RPP were composed of respondents associated with components described in point 1 above; 3) respondents have a positive attitude towards the preparation of lesson plans so that the necessary guidance and encouragement to improve their skills; 4) factors causing mistakes made by respondents in the preparation of RPP due to their incapacity in the field of knowledge (cognitive) theory of RPP preparation according to the demands Permendiknas number 41 of 2007. Abstract

This class test research was conducted with the aim of increasing the creativity and ability to write poetry in Indonesian language lessons through learning with the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method for class VIII students of BAY JAMBE 1 Junior High School in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. Based on preliminary observations, it is known that the poetry writing skills of class VIII students of TELUK JAMBE KARAWANG SMPN 1 are still low and need to be improved. students still find it difficult to make creative poetry. This makes researchers want to do the research. Based on the above explanation The method used in this study is the experimental method. The results of this experiment prove that learning to write poetry using the CIRC method is effective compared to learning to write poetry without using the CIRC method

Abstract

The purpose of this study is an effort to improve writing skills of junior high school students in persuasive text material using the STAD method. Writing is an aspect that is used by humans to communicate or convey indirect messages. The research method used by the researcher was the experimental method, with the design of the pre-test one post-test group. The research sample is class VIII junior high school students. Data collection tools used are learning implementation plans, observation sheets and test sheets. The results of the pre test and post test showed an increase in students' writing skills in the persuasion text material using the STAD method. The results of the study can be concluded that there is an increase in students' writing skills in persuasive text material using the STAD method. The results of teacher learning observations in the 85% class were carried out and student learning in the 80% class was carried out. The results of this study indicate an increase in students' writing skills in persuasive text material using STAD and can improve well according to the objectives expected in the study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemahiran anak-anak bilingual dalam menceritakan kembali isi cerita ke dalam dua bahasa yang mereka kuasai, yaitu bahasa Sunda sebagai bahasa ibu dan bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa kedua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa sebuah film pendek tanpa suara berdurasi enam menit berjudul The Pear Story. Objek yang diteliti adalah para siswa Sekolah Dasar pada tingkat 4,5,dan 6 dari tiga buah Sekolah Dasar yang terletak di Kecamatan Cihampelas Kabupaten Bandung Barat . Mereka ditugaskan menuliskan isi cerita film yang telah ditontonnya ke dalam Bahasa Sunda dan ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Tulisan mereka dibandingkan berdasarkan jumlah kata dan panjang pendeknya kalimat yang mereka gunakan dalam tulisan itu. Hasilnya menunjukkan, siswa yang diteliti lebih banyak menggunakan kata dalam tulisan yang berbahasa Indonesia dibandingkan dengan tulisannya yang berbahasa Sunda. Semakin tinggi tingkat kelas maka semakin banyak jumlah kata yang digunakan dalam tulisan berbahasa Indonesia. Interferensi bahasa terjadi pada narasi dalam Bahasa Sunda dari segi kosakata, sedangkan dalam narasi berbahasa Indonesia tidak ditemukan interferensi Bahasa Sunda dari segi kosakata. Interferensi terjadi pada tulisan berbahasa Indonesia dari segi struktur kalimat. Berdasarkan data di atas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan anak-anak bilingual dalam menuliskan kembali cerita yang telah ditontonnya lebih baik yang menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan bahasa Sunda.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are examine the implementation of the problem based learning method based on powtoon application in the learning process to write explanatory texts, so that students be able to solve problems, examine the responses of teacher and students to learning how to write explanatory texts by using the problem based learning method based on powtoon application and examine the difficulties - difficulties is doing the task of writing explanatory texts. The method used descriptive qualitative. Subjects in this research were students at one of the Junior high schools class eight in Mutiara 4 Bandung with a total 36 students. Observation sheets, questionnaire sheets and test sheets are part of the instruments used. The result of this research show the implementation of researcher and students activities that have been observed by observer one and observer two are in accordance with the learning scenarios that have been designed. Questionnaire responses of teacher and students were categorized very well and the average value obtained by students overall was 81.10. On average, categorized as good of student grade. Based on the results, it proves the problem based learning method based on powtoon application is effectively used in the teaching process to write explanatory texts at one of  junior high schools class eight in Mutiara 4 Bandung

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulty in appreciating a poetry that uses a lot of indexes and symbols that are rarely used and not yet known by the public such as in the work of "Pelayaran Tuhan" by Afrizal Malna. The purpose of this research is (1) Describing the results of a semiotic analysis of “Pelayaran Tuhan” poetry by Afrizal Malna, (2) Summarizing the theme of the poetry based on the analysis results. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with Peirce's semiotic approach which divides the signification process of sign into three factors: representamen, object, and interpretant. The results of the study found that this poem tends to use more tangible signs of index objects and symbols, most of which is not a familiar symbols. The system of meaning in this poem uses many imageries and emotions conveyed through index and symbols of sailing and sea atmosphere. The results of the analysis in this research show that this poetry is closely related to the theme of God or religious, spiritual and transcendental.

Abstract

One alternative learning model in the 2013 curriculum is Discovery Learning (DL). Nowadays, the facts in the field of teachers have never developed a discovery learning model to improve students' abilities, which tend to be low. Discovery learning as a teaching procedure that emphasizes individual teaching, object manipulation, etc. is expected to be a solution for teachers in teaching knowledge to their students. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection used is literature study, observation, interviews and in-depth analysis of documents related to research. The purpose of this study was to determine the development design of the discovery learning model assisted by visual poster media in the learning of writing persuasion texts with the object of research of grade VIII students. The results found in this study are that the first step in the discovery learning model is to display a poster containing an advertisement in the form of an image, which is a stimulus or stimulus for students to start learning activities and get to know the material to be taught. The next step is that students are required to identify problems that have been presented and have been observed first. Next, students collect data that has been seen, observed, and from their own knowledge to solve problems from the results of their collection and knowledge. The data will later be used to answer the problem. from the identification of the observed problems. Then, students verify or prove whether the resulting data can solve the problem from the identification results or not. The final step is to draw conclusions from temporary answers, Then in the design of the discovery learning model development assisted by visual media posters is to prepare the material to be presented in advance, making learning scenarios using the discovery learning model, and preparing questions or assignments that students must do after learning activities with the discovery learning model, and the obstacles that students experience in writing persuasion texts are in terms of making paragraphs or paragraphs in the form of persuasion (solicitation, seduction, or persuasion. ) including students experiencing obstacles in arranging the flow of text from the material presented in the form of posters.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of learning drama texts in schools. The drama text is a story of human conflict in the form of dialogue that is expressed using conversation. The formulation of the problem of this research are 1) How is the scenario and implementation of learning to write drama texts in class VIII students using the example non example model assisted by caricature drawing media; 2) how the responses of teachers and students of class VIII by using a model example non example assisted by caricature drawing media; 3) what difficulties experienced by students of class VIII in completing the tasks of writing drama texts. The purpose of this research is to describe the three problem formulations. Researchers use descriptive qualitative methods that are methods with the aim of describing, explaining, and analyzing the problems contained in a study. The results obtained are changes between the scenario and implementation. But learning goes well, this is evidenced by the results of observations with a value of 81.57, meaning that it is classified as very good. Likewise the teacher's response with a percentage of 96.87% means that it is classified as very good. While the percentage of student responses of 81.87% means that it is classified as good. The test results obtained by students namely an average number of 79.38 have met the indicators of success. Then, for the difficulties experienced by students can be seen from the matter of knowledge about the analysis of dialogue in fragments of drama and about the skills of writing the rules of drama language.

Abstract

This study describes online learning to write review texts using themethod Student Teams Achievement Divisions. Online learning is a distance learning method that has a major and significant influence in the world of education, thus teachers must innovate the learning process. In learning to write students still have difficulty in developing ideas and using language. So the researchers provided innovations in the online learning process to write review texts using themethod Student Teams Achievement Divisions. The research aimed to describe the results of the performance ofstudents, research method used is descriptive qualitative. Sample in this study was class VIII F at SMPN 2 Cimahi, amounting to 29 students. The results of this study obtained 5 students got a high score and 25 students got a sufficient score with an average value of 83, it can be concluded that the use of themethod Student Teams Achievement Divisions suitable for use in online learning material to write the review text in class VIII F.
