Abstract

Learning media as a liaison between teachers and students. Learning media has an important role in the learning process, especially in the delivery of material (basic competence). Seeing, the Covid-19 pandemic is not yet over, learning media must be chosen appropriately so that learning objectives can still be achieved optimally. Integrating technological advances by utilizing them in learning, especially for teachers in designing multimedia and interactive learning media is urgently needed. Therefore, this study focuses on the teacher's response to the use of the wordwall application as a support for learning Indonesian at school. The purpose of this study is to find out, analyze, and describe the teacher's response to interactive learning media assisted by wordwall applications as a support for learning Indonesian. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research procedure. The results of the research are known from the distribution of questionnaires on the analysis of teacher needs in the use of learning media, it is known from the ten questions given that the average answer is yes by 79.2% and no by 20.8% related to the use of technology-based learning media, knowledge, constraints or the obstacles encountered and the application of the wordwall application in learning Indonesian. Thus it can be concluded that the use of learning media, especially the wordwall application as a technology-based interactive media is needed by teachers in carrying out Indonesian language learning activities.

Abstract

Poetry is a series of words and lines created by the expression of feelings and thoughts that make up a literary work. To beautify the language of a poem, the style of language used must be clear. Joko Pinurbo is an Indonesian writer who creates various poems. The poetry he creates has a unique language characteristic, is simple and has deep allusions. This study aims to examine the style of language used in the poems by Joko Pinurbo. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative with the type of literature study. The source of data used in this research is Joko Pinurbo's poetry library. The poems studied were entitled “Pacar Senja”, “Selepas Usia 60”, and “Tukang Potret Keliling”, which were analyzed based on the phrases and figures of speech contained in them. The study of poetry is carried out with semiotics, namely a way of studying a poem by enjoying its markers. The results of the review of the three titles of Joko Pinurbo's poems above, it is stated that the three works contain symbols and symbols that have a specific purpose. The use of diction in his poems is quite simple as it is often used in everyday life and has a good sense of humor.

Abstract

Creating review texts that analyze and evaluate both literary and non-literary works. At the junior high school level, review text learning—which provides reviews and evaluations of literary or non-literary works—is studied. However, it occurs from the review text learning activities based on observations made during field experience practice that composing review texts is still done conventionally, necessitating the need for innovative learning strategies involving applications. The discovery learning methodology, supported by the Canva application, is one of them. The goal of this study was to ascertain how students responded and what they learned when they used the discovery learning methodology with the Canva software to write review texts. A program called Canva that supports learning has tools for making review texts more creative. The technique employed is a descriptive qualitative method, and tests and questionnaires are used to collect the data. The outcomes of assessments and questionnaires that use average values and satisfy the achievement markers can be used to determine whether learning has been successful. The test scores were 78.8 and the questionnaire was 63%, according to the research findings. So, the discovery learning paradigm supported by the Canva application can enhance students' learning to create review texts, based on student learning outcomes and student response results.

Abstract

This study intends to analyze Indonesian spelling errors in grade 9 students' experimental report texts. This research is also motivated by the many Indonesian spelling errors and students' spelling scores in the small test report text assessment criteria.  The method in this research is descriptive qualitative method.  The instruments used in this study were the text of the student's writing test report and the test report text assessment guidelines.  The data collection technique in this study was to look for sentences containing Indonesian spelling errors in the text of student experimental reports. The method of information analysis tried is reading, marking errors, analyzing, then formulating. Subject in this study was the experimental results of class 9D students at SMPN 1 Cikalongwetan, totaling 20 people.  The results of this study showed that out of 20 students in class 9D, 75% of the total number of students in 9D made a capital letter error.  Meanwhile, errors in writing capital letters at the beginning of a sentence reached 55% and errors in writing capital letters in the middle of a sentence reached 35%.  The conclusion of this study is that the cause of Indonesian spelling errors in the text of the class 9D experimental report at SMPN 1 Cikalongwetan is due to students' lack of understanding in Indonesian spelling and the lack of learning about Indonesian spelling in class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya masalah siswa dalam menulis teks pidato persuasif. Faktor penyebab masalah tersebut siswa gagal memahami struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan teks pidato persuasif sebagai dampak dari pemilihan model pembelajaran yang belum inovatif. Dalam penelitian ini menguraikan hasil pembelajaran menulis teks pidato persuasif menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan media mind mapping. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan hasil belajar teks pidato persuasif menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning yang dilengkapi dengan mind mapping pada subjek sebanyak 34 siswa. Metode yang digunakan yakni deskriptif kualitatif serta pengumpulan data berdasarkan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran teks bahasa persuasif menggunakan model discovery learning dengan mind mapping berjalan baik di kelas IX G SMPN 1 Margaasih sesuai hasil observasi siswa sebesar 93,7%. Hasil belajar siswa secara keseluruhan memperoleh skor total 85% dengan rincian struktur sebanyak 88%, kaidah kebahasaan 83%, kreativitas 79%, dan presentasi 92%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemilihan model dan media bisa menjadi solusi dari pembelajaran yang belum inovatif.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, which has not yet ended, has an impact on the implementation of learning, which still applies the learning process from home for several areas that are still at level 3. Therefore, teachers must continue to improve their abilities and creativity in managing an interesting learning process. Integrating technological advances by utilizing them in learning, especially for teachers in designing teaching materials or learning media that are multimedia and interactive is urgently needed. Many platforms or applications that can be utilized. One such application is Assembelr Edu. The results of initial observations show that not all teachers use the application in the learning process. This is due to limited information. Thus, a training is needed for teachers to be better prepared in carrying out distance learning. This PKM activity is in collaboration with partners, in this case SMP Kartika XIX-1 Bandung in the form of training and guidance on making interactive multimedia with the help of the Assemblr Edu application. This training activity was carried out by providing first, socialization and delivery of material. Second, direct training through mentoring and instructor guidance in making interactive multimedia with the help of the Assemblr Edu application. Third, the teacher simulates the multimedia that has been made in front of the other participants. In addition, feedback and follow-up plans will be carried out to find out the students' responses to the multimedia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya pembelajaran abad 21 yang mendorong siswa maupun guru untuk terus dapat meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas agar selalu mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Pada pembelajaran bahasa, tentunya tak hanya sekedar keterampilan 4C yang dibutuhkan. Namun perlu adanya penerapan skil dalam keterampilannya dan salah satu keterampilan yang harus dikuasai siswa adalah keterampilan menulis. Maka dari itu, sebuah model digunakan untuk menunjang pembelajaran menjadi lebih menyenangkan lagi yakni dengan menggunakan Project Based Lerning berbantuan aplikasi Noice sebagai media pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respons siswa kelas XI di SMK Sangkuriang 1 Cimahi terhadap penerapan model dan juga aplikasi yang diterapkan pada pembelajaran teks cerita pendek. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni deskriptif kualitatif dan instrument yang digunakan adalah angket yang ditujukan pada siswa kelas XI SMK. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan respons siswa terhadap model Project Based Learning berbantuan aplikasi Noice dapat dikatakan sangat baik dengan 55% sangat setuju dan 45% sangat setuju dengan pernyataan positif dan sebanyak 2% setuju, 70% tidak setuju dan 28% sangat tidak setuju dengan pernyataan negatif yang diberikan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dan aplikasi Noice efektif untuk diterapkan pada siswa di kelas XI SMK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh bahan ajar berbasis teknologi terhadap motivasi membaca siswa SMP. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen pretest-posttest control group, penelitian ini membandingkan dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan bahan ajar berbasis teknologi interaktif dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan bahan ajar konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi membaca yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Analisis uji t menunjukkan perubahan motivasi membaca pada kelompok eksperimen (p = 0,001) lebih besar daripada kelompok kontrol (p = 0,123). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis teknologi dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi membaca siswa SMP, yang berdampak positif terhadap keterlibatan dan hasil belajar mereka. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah.
