Abstract

Kajian sosial ekonomi dan tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat petani menggunakan pendekatan analisis kuantitatif yaitu dengan menganalisis luas lahan, produksi hasil pertanian dan pendapatan usahatani masyarakat petani di Desa Biru Kecamatan Kahu Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sosial ekonomi dan tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat petani di Desa Biru Kecamatan Kahu Kabupaten Bone. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah masyarakat petani di Desa Biru, sampel pada penelitian ini ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan memilih sebanyak 30 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata umur petani produktif didominasi rentang umur antara 37 – 46 tahun dengan rata-rata jumlah tanggungan keluarga sebanyak 3 orang dalam lingkup rumah tangga, tingkat pendidikan petani rata-rata tamat SD, luas lahan usahatani yang dikelola rata-rata sebanyak 1.12 Hektar dan tingkat pendapatan usahatani dalam satu periode masa tanam sebanyak Rp. 23.908.479.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAnalysis Of Production And Integrated Farm Income Of Rice-Beef Cattle In Kahu sub-district, bone district. Supervised by Syafiuddin and Arifin Fattah. This study aims to analyze the production costs, income levels and profits of rice-cattle integrated farming in Kahu District, Bone Regency. The population in this study were the community of rice farmers as well as beef cattle breeders in Kahu District, amounting to 4356 people. Determination of the sample in this study using the Slovin technique which was then followed by a stratified random sampling technique by selecting the farmer community as well as beef cattle breeders in each village based on the stratum level. The number of samples in this study were 68 people. The data analysis used is descriptive and quantitative by using the income analysis method Based on the results of the analysis of production and income levels, the total cost value is Rp. 24.298.623., With a total rice production of 13,791 kilograms, the total beef cattle production is worth 337.29 kilograms. Income level of Rp. 67.019.143., With an R / C Ratio of 1.31 which indicates that farming with an integrated system is profitable to implement.Keywords: integrated farming, production, income, rice, beef cattle.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini mengkaji terkait wujud penerapan nilai-nilai etika sipakatau, sipakalebbi dan sipakainge. Petani pemilik lahan atau pihak yang melakukan praktik sanra galung yang bentuk penerapannya adalah dengan menggadaikan lahan miliknya dengan sejumlah uang dengan nominal tertentu untuk dapat mengelola lahan dengan luas tertentu berdasarkan kesepakatan bersama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dimana penelitian dilaksanakan dalam situasi alamiah menyebabkan tidak adanya pemaknaan atas fenomena yang dikaji. Peneliti bertindak sebagai instrumen kunci atau pengumpul data beserta bantuan dari instrumen tambahan, informan kunci dari objek penelitian, maupun dokumen tambahan lainnya. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik dekskriptif dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data hingga penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai sipakatau dalam praktik sanra galung diterapkan dalam proses komunikasi, kejujuran, komitmen, nilai sipakalebbi diterapkan dalam proses saling menghormati karena status sosial dan kedekatan hubungan, nilai sipakainge diterapkan dalam proses musyawarah, mengantisipasi potensi konflik dan menyelesaikan konflik oleh petani di Desa Biru, Kecamatan Kahu, Kabupaten Bone.Kata Kunci: Etika, Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, Sipakainge, Sanra-Galung.

Abstract

The potential of Maggenrang Village, Kahu Sub-district, Bone Regency as a center for plantation commodities is quite large, especially fruit plantations in the form of bananas. However, banana processing often leaves waste that is not properly processed. Therefore, the implementation of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity aims to empower the Pao Kalikie Farmer Group through diversification of processed bananas with a zero waste approach. The activity implementation method consists of three stages, namely counseling, training, and mentoring. The form of activity evaluation can be seen from the results of partner preferences using questionnaires and descriptive analysis. The results of the service showed an increase in partner knowledge and skills in processing bananas into high-value products, namely banana stems and fruits into chips, and the remaining stems and fronds into ecoenzyme. Partner knowledge after the implementation of the activity increased by 92%, and partner skills increased by 90%. This PKM has a positive impact in building the entrepreneurial spirit of partners.

Abstract

Abstract Maggenrang Village is one of the areas with the second-largest banana production in Bone Regency. Banana production in Maggenrang Village has only been sold in traditional markets and processed independently in chips or other cakes. However, banana processing often leaves waste that needs to be properly processed. The aim of implementing the Community Partnership Program (PKM) activities is to empower the community in the Pao Kalikie Farming Group through zero waste-based banana processing. The method for implementing activities consists of three stages: socialization/counseling, training, and mentoring. The activity evaluation results are based on the results of partner preferences using a questionnaire via Google Forms and descriptive analysis. The evaluation results show increased partners' knowledge and skills in processing bananas, including the resulting waste (banana peels) into products with high economic value in the form of chips. The knowledge and skills of partners after implementing each activity have increased by 95%, so it can be concluded that this PKM activity has positively impacted community empowerment through the zero waste concept, namely building partners' entrepreneurial spirit and supporting the SDGs of healthy and prosperous villages. Abstrak Desa Maggenrang merupakan salah satu daerah dengan produksi pisang terbesar kedua di Kabupaten Bone. Hasil produksi pisang di Desa Maggenrang selama ini hanya dijual pada pasar tradisional, serta diolah dalam skala mandiri berupa keripik atau olahan kue lainnya. Namun, pengolahan pisang sering kali meninggalkan limbah yang tidak diolah dengan baik. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk melakukan pemberdayaan masyarakat pada Kelompok Tani Pao Kalikie melalui pengolahan pisang berbasis zero waste. Adapun metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi/penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan berdasrkan hasil preferensi mitra menggunakan kuesioner melalui google form dan analisis secara deskriptif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengolah pisang temasuk limbah yang dihasilkan (kulit buah pisang) menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomis tinggi berupa keripik. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan masing-masing mengalami peningkatan sebesar 95%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan PKM ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui konsep zero waste, yaitu membangun jiwa enterpreneurship mitra serta mendukung SDGs desa sehat dan sejahtera.

Abstract

Changes in temperature and extreme weather caused by the climate crisis have the potential to damage agricultural systems, threaten food security, and reduce agricultural productivity. This study aims to evaluate the integrated paddy-cattle farming system's resilience and capability to improve sustainability in the face of persistent difficulties. The research used a literature review approach with the aim of collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing previous research results relevant to the research topic. These sources will be drawn from reputable scientific databases, such as Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, and JSTOR, which have peer-reviewed articles and journals. There has been no in-depth study of paddy-cattle resilience through literature review, which is the novelty of the article. The results of this review indicate that paddy-cattle integration systems can be an effective solution to the challenges of sustainable agriculture in the midst of climate change. However, to achieve sustainability, it requires supportive policies, training for farmers, and further research on the application of this system in various local conditions. This study provides insights for the development of more adaptive and sustainable farming systems, as well as optimizing synergies between crops and livestock in the face of climate change. This study has limitations in terms of the amount of literature that is not up-to-date and with a relatively small amount, therefore, future researchers related to the same topic should add more up-to-date and relevant literature citations.

Abstract

Masalah limbah buah maja terletak di Dusun Batu Tiroa, Desa Bonto Bulaeng, Kecamatan Sinoa, Kabupaten Bantaeng telah menjadi perhatian yang serius. Bau yang tidak sedap yang dihasilkan oleh buah maja yang membusuk tidak hanya menganggu lingkungan sekitar, tetapi juga berpotensi menimbulkan masalah kesehatan. Melalui program pengabdian masyarakat ini, kami berupaya memberdayakan petani dengan memberikan Keahlian dan wawasan dalam mengolah buah maja menjadi pestisida nabati dengan nilai ekonomi. Metode yang digunakanan ialah penyuluhan atau sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan yang intensif telah berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran petani akan pentingnya pemanfaatan buah maja. Petani kini mampu memproduksi pestisda nabati berkualitas dan ramah lingkungan dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

Kuliah kerja nyata tematik Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone menyelenggarakan program edukasi dan pembekalan di Dusun Borong Tarampang, Desa Bonto Bulaeng, Kecamatan Sinoa tentang pembuatan kokedama dengan memanfaatkan limbah sabut kelapa sebagai pengganti pot tanaman hias. Pada saat pandemi Covid-19 maraknya pecinta tanaman hias terutama pada kalangan ibu rumah tangga. Kokedama merupakan suatu teknik menanam tanaman hias dengan berbentuk bulat. Sabut kelapa berfungsi sebagai media tanam untuk menjaga kelembapan unsur tanah yang cepat kering. Tujuan dari kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk menyadarkan masyarakat pentingnya mengolah sabut kelapa yang memiliki nilai guna bagi kehidupan. Metode kegiatan ini adalah melaksanakan observasi, pengumpulan sampel, pengumpulan data, sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan yang dilaksanakan yaitu masyarakat mampu membuat kreativitas, meningkatkan kepedulian masyarakat serta lingkungan terbebas dari limbah. Kesimpulan yaitu bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas ibu PKK dalam mengolah kokedama.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility analysis of vaname shrimp farming (Litopenaeus Vannamei) in traditional ponds in Sibulue District, Bone Regency. The population in this study is the community of vaname shrimp farming in Sibulue District. Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling technique by selecting vaname shrimp farmers who still use traditional methods in the process of cultivation with the characteristics of the area (1) the average land between 0.5 - 5 hectares, (2) the depth of the pond between 50 - 100 meters, (3) the number of stocking between 1-5 heads / m², and (4) feeding techniques using natural feed (without manufactured feed). The number of samples in this study was 67 people. The data analysis used is using the R/C Ratio analysis method, Net Present Value (NPV), Payback Period (PP), Internal Rate Ratio (IRR), Break Even Point (BEP). Based on the results of the analysis, the total cost value was obtained as much as Rp. 30,212,162, and the income value was Rp. 3,287,838. The results of the R / C Ratio analysis with a value of 1.11., Net Present Value (NPV) with a value of 38,524,948, Payback Period (PP) with a value of 1.8., Intern Rate Ratio (IRR) with a value of 49%, and Break Even Point (BEP) with a value of 3.5. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the vaname shrimp farming business on traditional ponds in Sibulue District is feasible to implement.

Abstract

Pindang fish processing micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bulukumba district, which are mostly managed by women, play an important role in the local economy, but also face various constraints that hinder their growth. This study aims to identify internal and external factors that influence the development of pindang fish processing MSMEs. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study, with data collection methods in the form of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the dominant internal factors are limited managerial skills and low product quality, which are influenced by non-standardized production processes and lack of attention to sanitation. Externally, although there is high market demand, the main challenges lie in marketing, distribution, and lack of business legality. The government provides support in the form of training and equipment assistance, but the mismatch between assistance and the real needs of MSME actors is still an obstacle. This study suggests that the government and related parties pay more attention to improving the quality of human resources, better production systems, and the utilization of technology to improve product quality and expand markets. From these results, it can be concluded that to encourage the sustainability and growth of pindang fish MSMEs, it is necessary to improve the quality of human resources, improvements in production systems, and the use of technology to improve product quality and expand markets. This will help MSME actors to overcome existing challenges and capitalize on available market potential.
