Abstract

ABSTRAK Perencanaanplambing air buanganpadagedung Hotel Tebu yang berlokasi di Kota Bandung dirancanguntukmemenuhi salah satu fasilitas sanitasi di dalam gedung Hotel Tebu.Sistem plambing air buangan yang direncanakan meliputi pembuatan jalur dan perhitungan dimensi pipagrey water, black water, danventberdasarkan acuan SNI 03-6481–2000 tentang sistem plambingdan SNI 03-7065-2005 tentang Tata Cara Perencanaan Sistem Plambing Dan Perhitungan Perkiraan penggunaan jumlah pipa dan aksesoris yang digunakan. Hasilperhitungan yang diperolehmenunjukan diameter pipagrey water 50 mm -100 mm, diameter pipa black water 100 mm dengankemiringanpipaadalah2%dandiameter ventadalah 32 mm -100 mm. Untukjenispipa yang digunakandalampenyaluran air buanganadalahjenispipa PVC. Pipa grey water yang dibutuhkan sepanjang 327,75 m. Pipa black water yang dibutuhkan sepanjang 255, 29 m. Pipa vent yang dibutuhkan sepanjang 86,02 m. Kebutuhan asesoris  yang digunakan yaitu elbow90°, elbow45°, reducer, dan Y tee dengan diameter 32 mm – 100 mm. Kata kunci:air buangan, diameter, plambing, sanitasi

Abstract

ABSTRAKKota Bandung merupakan kota pariwisata yang banyak dikunjungi oleh para wisatawan, maka diperlukan tempat penginapan sementara berupa hotel. Hotel Tebu merupakan hotel berbintang. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih sehari-hari pada penghuni hotel maka dirancang sistem perpipaan air bersih, perencanaan sistem instalasi plambing air bersih di hotel Tebu mengacu pada standar SNI 03-6481-2002 dan SNI 03-7065-2005. Konsep Green Building pada aspek konservasi air diterapkan pada perencanaan plambing air bersih karena persediaan sumbar air tanah yang semakin berkurang di Kota Bandung, didalam konsep Green Building sistem instalasi plambing air bersih akan dipisahkan menjadi dua jalur berdasarkan kegunaannya, yaitu air bersih kelas satu dan kelas dua. Penggunaan konsep Green Building ini menghasilkan penghematan air sebesar 54,43 % dari total kebutuhan air bersih sebesar 79 m3/hari. Hasil perhitungan dan penentuan jalur ini menghasilkan jalur pipa air bersih dengan diameter pipa mendatar 20 sampai 80 mm, dan diameter pipa tegak 50 sampai 80 mm.Kata kunci: plambing, green building, konservasi air

Abstract

Sebagai kota metropolitan dengan populasi 2.530.000 jiwa, Bandung menghasilkan sekitar 1.766 ton sampah per hari. Timbulan sampah yang tidak dikelola dengan baik menimbulkan permasalahan serius, terutama dalam hal pengangkutan sampah. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja sistem pengangkutan sampah di di Sub Wilayah Kota (SWK) Cibeunying, dimana memiliki persentase tingkat pengangkutan sampah terendah dibandingkan SWK lainnya pada tahun 2023. Kinerja layanan pengangkutan sampah SWK Cibeunying juga belum optimal disebabkan oleh volume timbulan sampah yang melebihi kapasitas alat angkut, frekuensi pengangkutan yang tidak sesuai dan jumlah armada yang tidak memadaiAnalisis kinerja pelayanan pengangkutan sampah di wilayah ini menggunakan Skala Guttman (skor 0 dan 1) dengan tiga parameter utama: kapasitas alat angkut dibandingkan timbulan sampah, kesesuaian jenis wadah di TPS dengan alat angkut, dan frekuensi ritasi pengangkutan menuju TPA. Indikator penilaian dikategorikan menjadi tiga: baik, sedang, dan buruk. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 46% (11 TPS) memiliki sistem pengangkutan yang baik, 17% (4 TPS) sedang, dan 38% (9 TPS) buruk. Secara keseluruhan, tingkat pelayanan pengangkutan sampah di SWK Cibeunying termasuk dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

Waste is unwanted residual material after a process is complete. Garbage that is not managed properly will lead to waste problems. Gunungsitoli City is one of the areas experiencing solid waste problems. Increasing population growth results in more and more waste generation. Garbage services in Gunungsitoli City are still 49.1% so that there are still 50.9% of people who have not been served. The aim of this research was to determine the processing of organic waste to reduce the waste that goes to the landfill. The research method used was descriptive qualitative analysis by analyzing waste management at the study site and providing recommendations for other waste management. The average amount of waste generated per day in Gunungsitoli City in 2020 is 133,828 m3/years. The most waste generated in Gunungsitoli City is organic waste by 71% and inorganic waste by 29%. Waste processing in Gunungsitoli City is carried out at the TPA by composting. Another alternative for processing organic waste that can be done is processing organic waste using maggot. In addition, organic waste processing also needs to be done with a recycling process.

Abstract

PT. X is the largest viscose fibre manufacturing company in Indonesia. Production at PT X generates hazardous and toxic waste, potentially harming human health and the environment. The hazardous waste generated is oil, electronic waste, used batteries, tubular lamps, asbestos and rock wool, and hazardous packaging with the most significant quantity of WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant ) sludge and cellulose alkali. Exposure to high concentrations of cellulose alkali can cause acute poisoning and even death. This study aims to evaluate the management of hazardous waste by considering the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 6 of 2021, the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 14 of 2013 on symbols and labels of hazardous and toxic waste, and Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 on the implementation of environmental protection and management, then the level of conformity is assessed using the Likert method. There are several aspects of hazardous and toxic waste management, namely aspects of reduction, packaging, collection, symbol and labelling, and temporary storage. The results of the suitability of hazardous waste management from the aspects of reduction are 100%, packaging is 88%, collection is 100%, giving symbols and labels is 71%, and storage is 96%; from the average overall result, a value of 91% is obtained and categorised as ‘very good’.

Abstract

Hospitals are places that have a higher risk of health problems for both healthy and sick people. Medical waste produced by hospitals affects human health, therefore the purpose of this study was to determine the level of suitability of medical waste management at Hospital Z in Bandung City. Solid medical waste has various types, such as infectious, pathological, sharp, pharmaceutical, cytotoxic, chemical, radioactive, and waste with high heavy metal content. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the suitability of solid medical waste management at Hospital Z according to relevant regulations. Primary and secondary data were collected for this study and the data were processed using a Likert scale scoring. The study includes reduction, sorting, containerization, symbols and labels, collection, storage and transportation between the existing conditions and PerMenLHK No. 56/2015, PerMenLH No. 14/2013. The results of the identification of the suitability of medical waste management in Hospital Z obtained a score of 91%, which is included in the very good category.

Abstract

PT. X telah menunjukkan komitmen kuat terhadap penerapan Sistem Manajemen Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (SMK3) sesuai standar ISO 45001:2018, yang dibuktikan dengan sertifikasi pada tahun 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kesesuaian penerapan SMK3 di PT. X dengan persyaratan ISO 45001:2018 sebagai persiapan untuk sertifikasi ulang tahun 2026. Metode evaluasi yang digunakan adalah perbandingan antara kondisi aktual perusahaan berdasarkan wawancara, observasi lapangan dengan checklist audit ISO 45001:2018. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan kesesuaian 100% untuk seluruh klausul ISO 45001:2018. Namun, terdapat temuan observasi pada klausul Kepemimpinan dan Partisipasi Pekerja, serta klausul Perencanaan, yang memerlukan perbaikan seperti peningkatan sosialisasi K3, pengembangan portal K3LH, penyempurnaan kompetensi dan peluang K3 dalam melibatkan partisipasi pekerja yang sesuai dengan latar pendidikan dan kompetensi pekerja, perbaikan IBARD, serta perbaikan birokrasi penyusunan dokumen. Kesimpulannya, PT. X telah berhasil menerapkan SMK3 sesuai standar ISO 45001:2018, sehingga perusahaan telah siap untuk sertifikasi selanjutnya.

Abstract

The disposal of hazardous and toxic waste (B3) originating from production processes can have negative effects on human health and the environment. PT. Z is a manufacturing industry that produces B3 waste as a result of its production activities. The presence of B3 waste requires proper management to avoid negative impacts. There are three types of waste produced: water coolant, expired chemicals, and used oil, each with characteristics that need to be well-managed. The research aims to assess the suitability level of hazardous and toxic waste management at PT. Z based on applicable regulations. In the research, data collection methods include both primary and secondary data, with data processing using Likert scale scoring. The research variables include the reduction, packaging, labeling and symbolizing, and storage of hazardous and toxic waste It was found that there were discrepancies in the variables of packaging, labeling, and symbolizing between the existing conditions and the regulations. The evaluation results indicate that hazardous waste management at PT. Z achieved a score of 90.32%, which is categorized as very good.

Abstract

The Cisangkuy Watershed is a tributary of the Upper Citarum River located in the Bandung Basin, West Java. Based one previous research, one organic pollution in the Cisangkuy Watershed is the presence of POPs (Persistent Organic Pollutants) compounds. POPs are organic compounds that can last a very long time in the environment (persistent) and have toxic properties for organisms. This study aims to identify and analyse the organic content of POPs and sediments in the Cisangkuy Watershed, as well as to analyse the source of pollutants and categorise them based on the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants. Identification of POPs compounds using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) technique. Sediment sampling was conducted by grab sampling that involved 20 sampling points from upstream to downstream of the Cisangkuy Watershed (CS-1 to CS-20). Samples were collected from 9 sub-districts. The research location shows that the land activities at the sampling point include asphalt hot mix, pharmaceutical, textile, and manufacturing industries. The results showed the presence of 1,2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, mono (2-ethylhexyl) ester, 4,8,12-Tetradecatrienenitrile, 5,9,13-trimethyl-, and 2-Hexyl-1-octanol compounds at sampling points from upstream to downstream. These compounds were derived from chemical industry effluents, fossil fuel combustion, and agricultural activities. The compounds are classified as ‘industrial waste’ and ‘industrial waste with antibiotic properties’ by the Stockholm Convention on Organic Waste Management.

Abstract

Citarum River, the largest and longest river in West Java Province, is heavily polluted due to human activities such as domestic, agricultural, and industrial. This condition causes heavy metal pollution that endangers the ecosystem around the waters. This study aims to identify the level of dissolved heavy metal contamination in the upstream Citarum River, particularly in Bandung Regency, using the X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) method, an analytical technique used to identify chemical elements in a sample by measuring the X-rays emitted after the sample is excited by primary X-rays. The test results show the concentration of heavy metals in the sediments of the upstream Citarum River, namely Fe between 67,924.8 - 47,584 ppm, Mn 406.1 - 2,107.1 ppm, Cu 54.5 - 59.7 ppm, Pb 18.8 - 22 ppm, Cr 24.4 - 29.1 ppm, and Cd 17.7 - 20.4 ppm. Sediment treatment is required when heavy metal concentrations exceed the established quality standards, especially in reducing heavy metals in industrial activity wastewater. In the deconstruction process for cadmium analysis, it is necessary to pay attention to the amount of HCL reagent solution used, because cadmium is easily dissolved by HCL. Excessive dosage can reduce or eliminate the concentration of cadmium in the sample. This research highlights the need for better waste management to maintain the water quality of the Citarum River.
