Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  menghasilkan  modul  menulis cerpen berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan oleh siswa kelas X MA Ar-Risalah Padang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MA Ar-Risalah Padang yang berjumlah tiga  puluh orang.  Pemilihan  subjek  penelitian  berdasarkan  pertimbangan-pertimbangan tertentu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model  pengembangan  4D.  Pengembangan  diawali  dengan  tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, dan diakhiri dengan pengembangan. Penelitian  dimulai pada bulan Desember 2015 sampai dengan Maret 2015. Selama penelitian, peneliti berkolaborasi  dengan guru  bahasa  Indonesia. Data  penelitian  yang berbentuk kuantitatif  diperoleh  dari  penilaian  validator  ahli,  guru  dan siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Pertama, validitas modul menulis cerpen berbasis PjBL yang dikembangkan tergolong sangat valid dengan presentase 95,83%. Kedua, praktikalitas yang dikembangkan tergolong sangat praktis dengan presentase 91,83% dan 81,43%. Ketiga, efektivitas modul menulis cerpen berbasis PjBL yang dikembangkan tergolong sangat efektif dengan persentase penilaian pada aktivitas siswa yakni 90,33%. Sebanyak 83,3% dari 30 siswa telah mendapatkan nilai menulis cerpen melebihi KKM. Jadi, modul yang telah dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia khususnya untuk materi menulis cerpen.Kata Kunci: modul, project based learning, cerpen

Third, effectiveness of short story modul construction based on PjBL is very effective with assessment percentage in student activities is 90.33%. Abstract

Kemampuan meneliti bagi seorang guru merupakan sebagai tuntutan profesi dan menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kuliatas diri. Salah satu  hal yang bias dilakukan adalah dengan terampil menulis laporan penelitian tindakan kelas. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melatih keterampilan menulis penelitian tindakan kelas meningkatkan kebiasan meneliti pada guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode ceramah. Pelatihan ini berisi kegiatan. (1) Penjelasan Pentingnya Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, (2) Pelatihan Pengelolaan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, (3) Pelatihan Penulisan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, (4) Penyusunan Penulisan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, (5) Penyusunan Penulisan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, (6) Pendampingan Kepada Para Peserta Pelatihan Penulisan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan, peserta/ guru merasa kesulitan dalam menuliskan latar belakang dan mengembangkan ide-ide dalam menulis laporan PTK.

Abstract

The success of learning in the classroom is largely determined by lecturers’ planning such as the ability of the lecturer in providing the appropriate teaching materials for their classroom. However, teaching materials for scientific writing are still used books or references. There is no specific scientific writing book such as a module integrated by honesty characteristic. Honesty is  one of the important characters in scientific writing, so that it is crucial to compile the good quality of that module. This study aims to test the quality of electronic modules (e-modules) based on integrated CTL character education for writing scientific work. The research method used is research and development method which used 4-D model which consist of four phases namely: define design, development, and assimilation.  in the 3rd stage, namely development. The degree of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the module are tested in this research. The validity test results show that the validity of this CTL-based e-modules designed is very high with a validity percentage of 82%. E-module is relatively practical both in terms of ease of use and time aspects used. The percentage of the practicality of lecturer response test results reach 81%, while the student response test is 79%. E-modules is quite effective to enhance student activities and learning outcomes and also to build a spirit of honesty in writing scientific work. This can be seen through observation, the six indicators of activeness are in the category very active. The results obtained in general categories are very good. AbstrakSuksesnya pembelajaran di kelas sangat ditentukan oleh perencanaan dosen. Termasuk dalam perencanaan tersebut adalah rencana bahan ajar yang digunakan. Bahan ajar menulis karya ilmiah yang ada selama ini masih merupakan buku-buku ajar atau referensi, belum ada yang menuntun secara spesifik penulisan karya ilmiah dalam bentuk sebuah modul dan juga mengintegrasikan karakter kejujuran yang menjadi salah karakter penting dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Untuk itu, modul yang disusun harus memiliki kualitas yang baik. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan menguji kualitas modul elektronik (e-modul) berbasis CTL terintegrasi pendidikan karakter untuk menulis karya ilmiah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan model 4-D pada tahap ke-3 yakni pengembangan (development). E-Modul diuji tingkat validitas, praktikalitas dan efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul berbasis CTL yang dirancang tergolong sangat valid dengan persentase validitas 82%. E-modul tergolong praktis baik dari aspek kemudahan dalam penggunaan maupun aspek waktu yang digunakan. Persentase praktikalitas dari hasil uji respon dosen mencapai 81%, sedangkan uji respon mahasiswa 79%. E-modul yang dirancang tergolong efektif untuk membangkitkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa serta membangun semangat kejujuran dalam menulis karya ilmiah. Hal tersebut terlihat dari hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan observer, dari enam indikator keaktifan berada pada kategori sangat aktif. Hasil belajar yang didapat secara umum berkategori sangat baik.

Abstract

In the middle of the rapid development of the digital world, learning innovation must be maintained. However, the implemented innovations must be appropriate in order to fulfill the learning objectives. There are still several hurdles to attaining the learning objectives in the discussion text. In terms of learning outcomes, the discussion text receives a lower grade than the KKM. The highest group has an average of 60, whereas the lowest group has a maximum of 40. In addition, there are issues with regard to the allocation of learning time, the unwillingness of students to ask and answer questions, and the assessment component, particularly attitude assessment. Writing discussion texts that are intended to foster the 4C in students, namely creative thinking (creative thinking), critical thinking and problem solving (critical thinking and problem solving), communicating (communication), and collaborating (collaboration), has not been entirely accomplished. To address these issues, instructional materials and proper learning models are necessary. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the ultimate objective of collecting the results of e-module needs analysis. Analyzing student characteristics, curriculum, and learning materials constitutes data-gathering activities. The following are the outcomes of the requirements analysis: (1) Students like teaching materials that can be accessed via Android. (2) Students believe it is crucial to include anti-bullying characters in teaching materials. (3) KI and KD in learning to write discussion texts are at cognitive levels C1, C2, and C4, the dimensions of conceptual knowledge and abstract skills at the conceptual level. According to the findings of the three analyses, it is necessary to build a PBL-based e-module that incorporates anti-bullying strategies.

Abstract

The presence of the corona virus forced the Aisyiyah 14 Ampang Padang Kindergarten students to become accustomed to health precautions during the pandemic, which served as the inspiration for this study. This study's goal was to explain how the adoption of health regulations during the pandemic affected the social development of kids in TK Aisyiyah 14 Ampang Padang who were between the ages of 5 and 6. This study combines quantitative data analysis methods with descriptive research. The 70 kids who made up the study's population were all members of group B at TK Aisyiyah 14 Ampang Padang. Observation logs, field notes, photographic and video recordings, and organized interviews are examples of research tools. The study's findings demonstrate how well-stimulated social behavior, social competence, and social responsibility are encouraged by the adoption of health protocols during the pandemic, ensuring that kids are aware of and obedient when wearing masks, washing their hands, and keeping their distance when interacting with other people.

Abstract

Higher order thinking skills should be included into all aspects of teaching and learning, particularly at the university level in facing digital society 5.0. Teachers must be able to incorporate such abilities into their courses, including their curriculum, syllabus, lesson plan, teaching approach, and teaching materials, as well as their English classes, based on this issue. English teaching materials by using technology is one of innovative way to facing the need of digital society 5.0. This study investigates the effectiveness of English teaching materials by using technology for university students. This research is experimental research in the form of pre-test and post-test control group design. This research was conducted on the first-year students of Adzkia University in the year 2021/2022. The instrument used in this study is the test. It is used to assess students' higher order thinking skills. SPSS was used to analyze the test data quantitatively. From results of the study, it is found that students who are taught by English teaching materials using technology have better higher order thinking skills than the students who are taught by using conventional English teaching materials. It can be concluded that English teaching materials is effective media to enhance higher order thinking skills (HOTS).

Abstract

This research describes how parental roles in developing a vocabulary for children aged 5-6 years during the pandemic at Aisyiyah Kindergarten 14 Ampang Padang. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative, and the sampling technique is total sampling. Analysis techniques are descriptive analysis data. The results showed that parental roles in vocabulary development are good, so parents play a role in 1. Children have already understood using cleanliness, washing, and cleaning vocabulary to get used to a clean lifestyle. 2. Children have already understood using comfortable, safe and peaceful vocabulary to create a comfortable environment. 3. As role models,  children already understand using vocabulary to set examples and give instructions. 4. Accompanying children while learning, children have already understood using accompanied and guiding vocabulary. 5. Playing together, children have already understood using the vocabulary of collaboration, appreciation, and respect.

Abstract

Era digital saat ini, khususnya terhadap sumber bacaan yang relevan merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk mendukung pembelajaran, terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan ruang baca virtual berbasis website, seperti menggunakan platform Google Site. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk menciptakan Ruang Baca Virtual berbasis website Google Site sebagai wadah interaktif bagi mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap sumber bacaan yang dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan utama mengumpulkan hasil analisis kebutuhan terhadap pengembangan ruang baca virtual di Universitas Adzkia.  Kegiatan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia di Universitas Adzkia memiliki minat membaca yang cukup tinggi dan cenderung lebih menyukai penggunaan sumber bacaan dalam bentuk digital. Pengembangan ruang baca virtual diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang interaktif, mudah diakses, dan meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam aktivitas membaca.
