Abstract

The regulation of criminal conspiracy in corruption crimes in Indonesia, especially under Article 15 of the Corruption Eradication Law, raises various fundamental issues that have the potential to disrupt the principle of justice in law enforcement. This research aims to identify and analyze problems in the regulation of criminal conspiracy and provide recommendations for improvements that are fairer and in accordance with legal principles. The method used is normative research with a legal approach and qualitative descriptive analysis. Data was collected from primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources to provide a comprehensive overview of the issues studied. The study found that the definition of criminal conspiracy in the GCPL is unclear, the sanctions are disproportionate, and the merging of the provisions with attempt and aiding and abetting has resulted in difficulties of proof. Recommendations include the need for a clear definition, separation of rules based on the nature of the act, application of the principle of proportionality in sanctions, and rewards for perpetrators who disclose conspiracies. With the proposed reforms, the law on criminal conspiracy should better reflect the principles of justice, provide legal certainty and support efforts to fight corruption effectively and humanely.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of organizational culture, job satisfaction, and servant leadership on service quality, with affective commitment as a mediating mechanism, in freight forwarding companies in Jakarta, Indonesia. Its novel contribution lies in identifying affective commitment as the primary psychological conduit through which job satisfaction influences service quality, while revealing uneven mediation effects across cultural and leadership factors in a logistics setting. A quantitative design was applied using data from 262 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Primary data were collected via online questionnaires and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The findings show that affective commitment fully mediates the job satisfaction–service quality relationship and partially mediates the effects of organizational culture and servant leadership. Job satisfaction has no direct effect on service quality. The results imply that compensation, promotion, and leadership practices must prioritize affective commitment to achieve sustained service quality improvements.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis determinasi kinerja karyawan operasional pada sektor ground handling melalui kajian etos kerja, disiplin, dan kompetensi sebagai variabel penentu utama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka (literature review), dengan menganalisis dan mensintesis berbagai penelitian terdahulu yang relevan, baik nasional maupun internasional. Data dianalisis secara komparatif untuk mengidentifikasi pola hubungan antarvariabel dan membangun kerangka konseptual penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Etos kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan operasional sektor ground handling; 2) Disiplin berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan operasional sektor ground handling; 3) Kompetensi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan operasional sektor ground handling. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar konseptual bagi manajemen perusahaan ground handling dalam merumuskan strategi pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang berorientasi pada peningkatan kinerja dan keberlanjutan operasional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Organizational Commitment, Training, and Compensation on Job Satisfaction mediated by Career Path in Sea Freight Forwarding Companies. The method used is descriptive-qualitative, with a literature review approach. This study synthesizes findings from various relevant internationally indexed academic articles. Data were collected from reputable internationally indexed articles obtained through databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, Emerald, Springer, and Google Scholar. The selected literature was analyzed using reduction techniques, data presentation in matrix form, and comparative synthesis to find patterns, similarities, and differences between studies. The results of the study indicate that Organizational Commitment, Training, and Compensation affect Job Satisfaction, either directly or indirectly through career paths. The contribution of this research is that it provides significant theoretical and practical contributions in the field of human resource management, particularly in the shipping and logistics sector. The novelty of this research lies in integrating a career path mediation model in analyzing the relationship between organizational commitment, training, and compensation on job satisfaction in the specific context of sea freight forwarding companies in Indonesia, which has not been widely studied in academic literature.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of Internet of Things (IoT) and CEISA 4.0 system reliability on logistics company performance, with service quality as a mediating variable in freight forwarding companies in Jakarta. A quantitative approach was applied using data from 288 CEISA 4.0 users, analyzed through SEM-PLS. The results show that IoT has a significant positive effect on both service quality and company performance. Meanwhile, CEISA 4.0 reliability has no significant direct effect on company performance but positively affects service quality. Furthermore, service quality mediates the relationship between IoT and company performance but does not mediate the effect of CEISA 4.0 reliability. These findings indicate that IoT plays a more critical role in improving logistics performance, while the effectiveness of CEISA 4.0 is still limited. Therefore, improving system reliability and service quality is essential to enhance company performance in the logistics sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh infrastruktur pelabuhan, suprastruktur pelabuhan, dan sumber daya manusia terhadap kepuasan pengguna jasa, dengan kinerja operasional sebagai variabel mediasi pada Pelabuhan Malundung Tarakan, Provinsi Kalimantan Utara. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 230 pengguna jasa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling berdasarkan keterlibatan langsung mereka dalam aktivitas kepelabuhanan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa infrastruktur, suprastruktur, dan sumber daya manusia berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja operasional. Selain itu, ketiga variabel tersebut juga berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan pengguna jasa. Kinerja operasional terbukti mampu memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh ketiga variabel independen terhadap kepuasan pengguna jasa. Suprastruktur pelabuhan dan sumber daya manusia memiliki pengaruh dominan dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan kepuasan pengguna. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya investasi berkelanjutan pada pengembangan fasilitas pelabuhan dan peningkatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia untuk mendorong efisiensi operasional dan kepuasan pelanggan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi strategis bagi pengelola pelabuhan dalam merumuskan kebijakan peningkatan layanan.

Abstract

Implementation of 5S (Sort,Set in Order,Shine,Standardize,Sustain) and Kaizen can improve work safety and productivity. In improving DSV Solutions Indonesia productivity, necessary to implement 5S and Kaizen. Objective of this research is to examine the impact of 5S and Kaizen Implementation on Productivity directly and also wants to analyze how the role of The role of Work Safety as an intermediary in the indirect correlation between 5S and Kaizen on Productivity at DSV Solutions Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative approach, with the type of explanatory survey research and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling with the Slovin formula. The population consists of 884 employees with a sample of 90 respondents. Data were collected through observation and Likert scale-based questionnaires, the data was examined with Structural Equation Modeling PLS (SEM-PLS). The research findings proved that the application of 5s and kaizen had significant effects on work safety and productivity.
