Abstract

Background: Low back pain is a disease that is felt mostly by those who do their work both statically and dynamically, lack doing some exercises, take a long seat, and bend over too long. Examples of this are drivers. They work long hours daily with lots of passengers and goods. As a result, they are forced to be seated in a long time with static position and sometimes they apply improper sitting position. In addition, there are several factors causing them to have a low back pain, i.e. IMT or BMI, work period, sitting position, work duration, exercise, smoking, and age as well. Objective: This literature review is aimed at finding out factors that result in low back pain happening to drivers. Method: The method of this literature review is scoping review. The articles for this literature review are collected from several database comprising Google scholar, PubMed, Proquest, Wiley online library and The Cochrane Collaboration.The articles selected are the ones published between 2016 and 2021. The article analysis and sifting uses the method PRISMA. Results: Six articles were found to be appropriately used and they are in line with the criterion of both inclusion and exclusion. As many as 66.67% of the articles discuss sitting position, 50% discuss work duration, 66.67% discuss age factor, 50% discuss IMT, 83.33% discuss work period, 100% discuss exercises, and 83.33% discuss smoking. Conclusion: The factors of sitting position, work duration, age, exercise, and smoking contribute to low back pain that happens to drivers. Meanwhile, the factors of IMT or BMI and work period are not associated with low back pain in drivers. Keywords: factors, low back pain, driver

Backround : Healing garden is a natural therapy facility for patients by presenting a natural atmosphere so that the patient can interact with the natural surroundings with the aim of making the patient feel comfartable, relaxed, optimistic and excited. Patients who are hospitalized are one of the groups thar are prone to experiencing anxiety. Abstract

ABSTRACT Background : Patient satisfaction is a feeling of pleasure or satisfaction that the services received have met or exceeded the patient's expectations (Nursalam, 2016). Emergency Room (ER) is a part that serves patients with emergency conditions, the action must be effective and efficient according to the quality of service. Satisfaction of patients and their families needs to be measured to improve the quality of services in the Emergency Room Purpose : This study aims to find out relations between the factors related to family satisfaction of patients in the Emergency Room at Panti Rapih Hospital, Yogyakarta. Methods : This research is a quantitative study with a correlational descriptive method using a cross sectional approach. The instrument used was the Patient satisfaction questionnaire format 10 compiled by the previous researcher and the questionnaire about factors related to satisfaction compiled by the researcher. The sample in this study used a non probability sampling with accidental sampling method. The number of respondents is 75 people. The study was conducted on January 13, 2021 to January 28, 2021, Univariate analysis using percentage analysis and bivariate analysis using Spearman correlation to determine the factors associated with satisfaction. Result :There is a significant positive relationship between performance factors and patient family satisfaction (p value = 0.000) rho value = 0.533, there is a significant positive relationship between the facility factor and patient family satisfaction (p value = 0.000) rho value = 0.474, there is a significant positive relationship between service factors and patient family satisfaction (p value = 0.000) rho value = 0.550, there is a significant positive relationship between communication factors and patient family satisfaction (p value = 0.000) rho value = 0.471, there is a significant positive relationship between the atmosphere factor and patient's family satisfaction (p value = 0.000) rho value = 0.513, there is a significant positive relationship between the location factor and patient's family satisfaction (p value = 0.000) rho value = 0474, there is a significant positive relationship between visual design and patient family satisfaction ( p value = 0.000) rho value = 0.435. Conclusion : There is a significant, positive relationship between performance factors, facilities, services, communication, atmosphere, location and visual design on the patient's family satisfaction. This research can be used as a reference in an effort to increase patient and family satisfaction in the hospital.

Abstract

ABSTRCT Background: Patient satisfaction is one of the factors used to evaluate the quality of service in the hospital, and is one of the factors determining the image of a health service institution. Nursing service satisfaction is obtained from consumer assessments regarding the quality and performance of the benefits received from products or services. Quality nursing services can be realized through the provision of nursing care based on the caring behavior of nurses. Caring behavior must always be carried out by nurses in all conditions, even during the current COVID-19 pandemic situation. In the preliminary study conducted, Elisabeth 4's inpatient room was the room that experienced the lowest decrease in customer satisfaction. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurse caring behavior and patient satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic in Elisabeth 4 Hospital's inpatient room. Panti Rapih, Yogyakarta. Methods: This type of research is a descriptive correlation. This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design. Using non probability sample techniques, purposive sample. The sample used was 37 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire that is given directly to the respondent in Januari 2021 sampai Februari 2021. Results: The highest nurse caring behavior was in the good category, 83.8% of the total respondents. The highest level of satisfaction is "Satisfied" 54.1% of the total respondents and "Very Satisfied" as much as 43.2% of the total respondents. Based on the results of the Spearman rho test, P value 0.007 is, this means that there is a significant relationship between nurse caring behavior and the level of patient satisfaction. The Correlation Coefficient value is positive, which indicates that there is a strong relationship between nurse caring behavior and the level of patient satisfaction. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between nurse caring behavior and patient satisfaction. The direction of the positive correlation shows that the higher the nurse's caring behavior, the higher the patient's satisfaction in nursing services. Suggestion: It is necessary for nurses to increase knowledge, attitudes and skills especially when carrying out their role as executor of professional nursing actions. Panti Rapih Hospital management should continue to encourage the spirit of caring behaviour during the COVID-19 pandemic, by improving the physical, mental and spiritual health of nurses so that nurses can provide professional nursing services.

Abstract

Abstract Background: Therapeutic communication is one of the activities where nurses assist patients in overcoming the problems experienced and emotional to achieve patient recovery. Objective : to determine the correlation of nurse therapeutic communication against inpatient satisfaction in the nursing room at the Santa Elisabeth Hospital. Methods : Correlative descriptive method, using a cross sectional approach, purposive sampling was carried out from March to July 2021 with 47 respondents using a questionnaire, and data analysis using the Spearmen correlation test through SPSS. Results :univariate analysis, mostly 23 (53.4%) patients said that therapeutic communication was in the poor category and most of the patients' satisfaction as many as 27 (67.4%) were in the low category. The results of the bivariate analysis obtained a significance number or probability number 0.003 <0.05, then there is an influence of therapeutic communication on patient satisfaction in the Inpatient Room of Santa Elisabeth Hospital. Conclusion : There is a relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication and the satisfaction of inpatients in Santa Elisabeth Hospital. Suggestion: as an evaluation material and also input in providing useful nursing services to improve the quality of hospital services

Abstract

The Healing Garden Therapy (PGHT) program is intended to improve the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health conditions of patients, visitors, and staff at the Hospital. In this activity, in addition to being participants, health workers also play a role in organizing PGHT. This study contributes to health workers, especially nurses, to implement holistic services for patients. This study is an exploratory qualitative study to explore the perceptions of health workers in the implementation of PGHT. The sample of this study was 13 health workers who had been involved in the implementation of the PGHT at Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta and St Carolus Jakarta, which were taken using purposive sampling techniques. The researcher conducted in-depth interviews with participants, with the help of a recording device and interview guidelines that had been prepared previously. The reporting of the research results has been based on the COREQ Checklist. The results obtained themes; The Healing Garden Therapy program in hospitals is educational and innovative; Has challenges, and opportunities and requires commitment from all components of the hospital in further program development; The Healing Garden Program in hospitals is a manifestation of holistic nursing; The Healing Garden Program in hospitals is very beneficial for patients, families/visitors and hospital employees; and A garden design is needed that supports the implementation of the Healing Garden Program in hospitals. The implementation of the Healing Garden Program is beneficial for patients, visitors, and health workers, so efforts need to be made to be implemented in every hospital.

Abstract

Pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik (GGK) yang menjalani hemodialisa mengalami banyak perubahan dalam hidupnya. Terapi hemodialisa terbukti sukses sebagai terapi pendukung penyakit gagal ginjal kronik dengan efektivitas tinggi. Terapi ini dapat memperpanjang usia tanpa batas yang jelas, namun tidak dapat mengembalikan seluruh fungsi ginjal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengalaman pasien GGK yang menjalani terapi hemodialisa dengan metode kualitatif dengan perspektif fenomenologi deskriptif. Pengambilan data secara in dept interview pada 6 orang pasien GGK yang diambil secara purposive sampling dan analisa data menggunakan metode Colaizi. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan 6 tema utama yaitu 1 Pasien mengalami ketidaknyamanan pada seluruh tubuhnya setelah menjalani terapi hemodialisa, tema ke 2 Pasien merasa sedih dan tidak percaya mengalami sakit yang berat, tema ke 3 pasien merasa pentingnya dukungan keluarga dan lingkungan yang baik selama menjalani therapi Hemodialisa, tema ke 4 pasien memiliki motivasi tinggi berasal dari diri sendiri, tema ke 5 Pasien semakin mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan sang pencipta dan tema ke 6 Pasien mengalami ketidaknyamanan mengikuti anjuran diet. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa pengalaman pasien GGK menjalani Hemodialisa merupakan suatu hal penting yang menentukan keberhasilan terapi. Mengingat pentingnya pengalaman pasien yang menjalani hemodialisa, maka disarankan keluarga dapat menemani, memberikan dukungan dan semangat bagi pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani terapi Hemodialisa.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Discharge planning merupakan suatu proses yang dinamis dan sistematis dari penilaian, persiapan, serta koordinasi yang dilakukan untuk memberikan kemudahan pengawasan pelayanan kesehatan dan pelayanan sosial sebelum dan sesudah pulang. Salah satu factor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan discharge planning yaitu motivasi. Motivasi yang tinggi akan mewujudkan pelaksanaan discharge planning yang optimal sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan terhadap pasien. Tujuan : Mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi perawat dengan pelaksanaan discharge planning di ruang rawat inap di Rumah Sakit swasta Yogyakarta. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Correlation menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua perawat pelaksana di ruang rawat inap di Rumah Sakit swasta Yogyakarta, sampel  berjumlah 92 responden dengan metode totaly sampling. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi perawat dengan pelaksanaan discharge planning dengan nilai P value 0.000 (P value < 0,05 ) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan kekuatan korelasi (r)= 0,551 sedang dan arah korelasi positif atau searah artinya semakin meningkat motivasi perawat maka pelaksanaan discharge planning meningkat. Kesimpulan: Oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya dan kerjasama antara berbagai pihak di rumah sakit diantaranya seperti memfasilitasi perawat untuk meningkatkan motivasi perawat dan memperoleh informasi tentang pelaksanaan discharge planning serta diperlukan evaluasi terkait pelaksanaan discharge planning agar dapat berjalan dengan baik.Kata kunci : pelaksanaan discharge planning, motivasi perawat

Abstract

Staying in the hospital for a long period can affect a patient's psychological condition and may cause stress that slows down recovery. Healing Garden Therapy is a hospital program that can help support recovery, especially for patients with non-communicable diseases.  Therefore, this study aims to explore the implementation of the Healing Garden Therapy program in hospitals using assessment model of Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, and Maintenance (RE-AIM). This study used a qualitative exploratory design. The participants consisted of two groups: 10 nurses and 8 non-nursing staff who were involved in the implementation of Healing Garden Therapy Program (HGTP), selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using recorded Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and using semi-structured guiding questions. The data were analyzed using Colaizzi's method and presented using the COREQ checklist. The study found four main themes: 1) The main targets of the Healing Garden Therapy Program are patients, families, and visitors; 2) Delivering holistic care; 3) The Healing Garden program has positive impacts and therefore should be reactivated; 4) The Healing Garden Therapy program needs management supports and nurses involvement. The Healing Garden Therapy program has shown positive impacts and should be implemented to support holistic nursing care in hospitals.
