Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan model pembelajaran problem posing tipe post solution posing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada salah satu SMP di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain pretest-postest. Pemilihan sampel ditetapkan dengan teknik random sampling dan diperoleh siswa kelas VII A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas VII B sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengambilan data penelitian adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada pokok bahasan segi empat sub pokok bahasan persegi panjang dan persegi. Uji yang digunakan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan rata-rata gain adalah uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata-rata gain kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model  pembelajaran problem posing tipe post solution posing adalah 13.91, sedangkan rata-rata gain kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran secara konvensional adalah 7.09. Dengan uji t terlihat bahwa rata-rata gain kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran problem posing tipe post solution posing lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran secara konvensional.  Disarankan guru dapat terus mengembangkan pembelajaran dengan model  problem posing tipe post solution posing dan menerapkan pada materi lain.The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of applying the problem posing learning model type post solution posing to students' problem solving abilities in one of the junior high schools in the Semarang city. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest design. Sample selection was determined by random sampling technique and was obtained by students of class VII A as an experimental group and students of class VII B as a control group. The instrument used for retrieval of research data is a problem solving ability test on the subject of rectangles. The test used to determine the difference in average gain is the t test. Based on the results of the study, the average gain problem solving ability of students who get learning with problem posing learning model type post solution posing is 13.91, while the average gain problem solving ability of students who obtain conventional learning is 7.09. With the t test it can be seen that the average gain of problem solving abilities of students who get problem posing learning model type post solution posing is better than students who get conventional learning. It is suggested that the teacher can continue to develop learning with problem posing learning model type post solution posing and apply it to other material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is more effective than the conventional learning model towards the mathematical problem-solving ability of VII grade of Salatiga State Junior High School 5 students the academic year 2019/ 2020. This research was Quasi-Experimental type with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The instrument of this study was a problem-solving ability test, which consisted of pre-test and post-test. Post-test results obtained an average of 73.24 in the experimental class and 58.62 in the control class. In other words, the average experimental class was higher than the control class. This result was confirmed by the Mann-Whitney U test that obtained a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.00 < 0.05, so H0 was rejected, while H1 was accepted; it meant that there was a difference in the average mathematical problem-solving ability of students between the experimental and the control class. Additionally, the average N-Gain of the experimental class was 0.54, and the control class was 0.29. The average increase in the experimental class was higher than the control class, and there were differences. As the Mann-Whitney U N-Gain test confirmed that obtained sig (2-tailed) value of 0.00 <0.05 so H0 was rejected, and H1 was accepted. Thus there was a difference in the average increase of students' mathematical problem-solving ability between experimental and control classes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan solusi self-hosted cloud storage sebagai sarana penyimpanan data lokal di Laboratorium Teknik Informatika Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Metode penelitian ini meliputi langkah-langkah berikut: studi Literatur, identifikasi kebutuhan dan persyaratan, analisis solusi self-hosted, desain arsitektur sistem, implementasi sistem, pengujian dan evaluasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi penyimpanan cloud self-hosted berhasil memberikan solusi penyimpanan lokal yang aman dan efisien untuk Laboratorium Teknik Informatika. Implementasi ini memungkinkan akses data yang cepat dan mudah bagi pengguna laboratorium. Penelitian ini memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan keamanan penyimpanan data di lingkungan akademik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian soal tipe HOTS terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada siswa kelas VII MTs SA Al-Idrus Repaking Wonosamodro Boyolali Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ada 2 yaitu siswa kelas VII A dan kelas VII B yang berjumlah masing-masing 20 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa kelas VII A sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan 20 siswa kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pemilihan sampel dengan menggunakan metode sampel jenuh. Uji prasyarat terdiri dari Uji Homogenitas dan Uji Normalitas. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji-t untuk menguji secara parsial dan uji-F untuk menguji variabel secara Bersama-sama. Hasil analsis dari penelitian ini diperoleh thitung = 3,564 dan ttabel = 2,025. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas eksperimen dengan siswa kelas kontrol, dengan kata lain pemberian soal tipe HOTS efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika pokok himpunan. Hal ini juga dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata post tes siswa kelas eksperimen yaitu sebesar 78,75 lebih besar dari nilai siswa kelas kontrol yang hanya memperoleh nilai rata-rata 66,75.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan soal asesmen tipe Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Konteks yang digunakan dalam pengembangan soal asesmen ini adalah konteks Islam Indonesia. Islam Indonesia yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah kehidupan santri di Indonesia yang juga merupakan siswa di sekolah umum. Soal asesmen yang dikembangkan akan dijadikan soal evaluasi guru pada bab Pola Bilangan. Penelitian ini berusaha mendeskripsikan kesesuaian soal asesmen yang dikembangkan dengan konsep matematika, tipe HOTS, dan konteks Islam Indonesia. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga ingin melihat respon siswa terhadap soal asesmen yang dikembangkan. Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4D (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). Terdapa dua ahli yang menjadi validator sekaligus penilai dari soal asesmen yang dikembangkan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Sunan Averroes. Soal asesmen berhasil dikembangkan menggunakan model 4D. Keseuaian soal asesmen dengan konsep matematika adalah sangat sesuai. Keseuaian soal asesmen dengan konsep soal HOTS adalah sesuai. Keseuaian soal asesmen dengan konteks Islam Indonesia adalah sesuai. Dengan demikian soal asesmen layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Respon siswa terhadap soal asesmen diantaranya siswa menganggap bahwa soal yang diberikan tidak jauh dari kehidupan mereka baik di lingkungan pondok pesantren maupun di lingkunga rumah tinggal mereka. Siswa juga mampu mengidentifikasi soal yang mudah, yang disenangi, dan soal yang rumit.

Abstract

Purpose – This research explores the role of mindfulness counseling in reducing episodes of mania and depression in clients diagnosed with bipolar disorder within the context of Islamic higher education institutions. The study is framed within Kabat-Zinn’s theory of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), which emphasizes present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance alongside the emotional regulation strategies from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) by Marsha Linehan. These frameworks were employed to support participants in managing emotional fluctuations and building coping strategies during counseling.Methodology – Using a multiple case study approach, three participants with a history of severe mood instability participated in eight weeks of mindfulness counseling sessions. These sessions integrated core mindfulness techniques, including body scanning, breath awareness, mindfulness meditation, and guided visualization. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and participant self-reports using mood-tracking journals.Findings – The findings indicated significant improvements across all three participants, including a marked reduction in the frequency and intensity of manic and depressive episodes. Participants demonstrated increased self-awareness, improved emotional regulation, and developed coping strategies for managing mood triggers. They reported a greater sense of control over their thought patterns and an enhanced sense of psychological resilience. This study highlights the effectiveness of mindfulness counseling as a promising adjunctive therapy for managing bipolar disorder.Contribution—By integrating mindfulness techniques within the context of counseling, participants were equipped with practical tools that contributed to their emotional stability and long-term psychological well-being. This research supports the potential of mindfulness practices to offer valuable support for individuals with bipolar disorder, especially in the setting of Islamic higher education institutions.

Abstract

Moral education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah plays an important role in shaping student character. However, its implementation still faces challenges, so it is necessary to study the concrete strategies teachers use to instill these values contextually and applicatively. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were conducted through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques that included data condensation, data presentation, and verification by maintaining data validity through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results showed that moral education in environmental hygiene is realized through habituation, exemplary, and punishment strategies. These strategies are applied in routine activities such as class pickets, environmental clean-up actions, and daily clean-living practices. These efforts shape the character of students who are responsible, disciplined, and care about the environment, as well as creating a clean, healthy learning atmosphere and supporting improving learning quality. The conclusions and contributions of this study indicate that moral education strategies through habituation, exemplification, and punishment effectively shape students' characters who care about the environment and contribute to creating a clean, healthy school culture and supporting quality teaching and learning processes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran think pair share (TPS) dengan pendekatan problem solving terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis eksperimen dengan desain Non Equivalen Posttest Only Control Group Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas VIII salah satu SMP Negeri di Jawa Tengah. Menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, terpilih siswa kelas VIII C menjadi kelas eksperimen serta siswa kelas VIII E menjadi kelas kontrol. Pengambilan data menggunakan teknik tes dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Sample T Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dengan pendekatan Problem Solving efektif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel.

Abstract

Evaluating students’ abilities in educational settings is crucial for assessing learning outcomes and instructional effectiveness. In Indonesia, many schools have developed local English language assessments, yet these tests often lack psychometric validation. This study aims to evaluate the quality of a teacher-developed English language test instrument using the Item Response Theory (IRT) approach. A total of 25 multiple-choice items created by the English teacher group in Muna Regency were administered to 162 students from five randomly selected schools. A descriptive quantitative method was employed with the aid of R Studio for data analysis. Initial sample adequacy was confirmed using the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO = 0.686) and Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity (p < .001). The study applied model fit analyses for 1-PL, 2-PL, and 3-PL logistic models, with the 2-PL model emerging as the most appropriate, as 16 items demonstrated good fit. Further analysis of item characteristics under the 2-PL model revealed that only 11 items had acceptable difficulty and discrimination indices. In comparison, the remaining 14 items were either too easy, too complex, or poorly discriminating. These results indicate that a substantial portion of the test requires revision. The study highlights the importance of psychometric evaluation in teacher-made assessments and recommends capacity-building for teachers in test development and validation practices.

Abstract

Mathematical knowledge and computational thinking train students' ability to reason, and this is needed to be able to compete in the digital era in the future. This study aims to construct a mathematical cognitive test instrument using the computational thinking (CT) model that meets the validity, reliability, and good item criteria and provides new insights into how to apply computational thinking in Islamic education (madrasah). This research includes development research consisting of design and implementation stages with a sample of 160 madrasah aliyah students in the Sleman district. Instrument validity was conducted by proving content validity. Reliability was estimated using the separation reliability coefficient, and the quality of the instrument was analyzed using the Rasch model. The instrument was declared reliable (separation reliability coefficient of 0.8059), classified as a good fit for the model, with a p-value of 0.64 > 0.05), and effective in measuring mathematics skills with a percentage of 99.85%. The instrument developed opens the insight that the subject matter in madrasah can be integrated with computational thinking skills and can be used as an alternative for diagnostic, formative, and summative tests.
