Abstract

ANALISIS MATERI ESENSIAL  MATA PELAJARAN PANEL BODY DAN RANGKA PADA KURIKULUM MERDEKA  Amir Fatah*:  Kir Haryana; Yoga Guntur Sampurna;Supriyono, Dinar Kurniawan;  Amar Nazarudin; Nawa Renobarta Maulidino, Muhamad Jafar Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta*Corresponding Author: amir_fatah@uny.ac.id Abstract This research is a survey aimed at identifying essential materials in the panel body and frame subjects. This is necessary because it will help identify the core materials that are crucial and relevant to be developed in the learning process, thus improving the efficiency of the learning process. It ensures that students acquire knowledge and skills that can be applied in real life, providing opportunities to develop critical and creative thinking skills, and a deeper understanding of key concepts and the application of that knowledge in different contexts. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires reinforced with interviews, and data analysis was conducted using descriptive methods. The research population consisted of vocational school teachers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, while the research sample focused on three schools specializing in light vehicle body engineering. The research respondents included 12 teachers distributed across three vocational schools. The results of the study show how teachers determine essential materials in the panel body and frame subjects by involving industry partners in accordance with the guidelines for the development of the independent curriculum. The most essential materials selected by teachers in the Panel Body and Frame subjects include the removal, installation, and light repair of body panels, doors, fenders, and closed panel repairs. Key Words: Materials, Essential, Vehicle Body, Engineering AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui materi esensial pada mata pelajaran panel bodi dan rangka. Hal ini perlu dilakukan  karena akan membantu mengidentifikasi pokok-pokok materi yang paling krusial dan relevan untuk dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi proses pembelajaran, memastikan siswa memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan nyata serta memberikan kesempatan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif, dan lebih mendalam memahami konsep-konsep kunci dan menerapkan pengetahuan tersebut dalam konteks yang berbeda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket yang diperkuat dengan wawancara dan analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah guru SMK se-Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, sementara sampel penelitian difokuskan pada tiga sekolah yang memiliki konsentrasi keahlian Teknik bodi kendaraan ringan.  Responden penelitian berjumlah 12 guru yang tersebar di tiga SMK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan cara guru menentukan materi esensial pada mata pelajaran panel bodi dan rangka dengan melibatkan industri mitra sesuai dengan petunjuk pengembangan kurikulum merdeka. Adapun materi paling esensial yang dipilih guru pada mata Pelajaran  Panel Body dan Rangka  adalah pelepasan,  pemasangan dan perbaikan ringan panel bodi, pintu, fender,  perbaikan panel tertutup. Kata Kunci : Materi, Esensial, Teknik, Bodi, Kendaraan

Abstract

Excessive learning materials can hinder the teaching and learning process by overwhelming students, reducing motivation, and impairing knowledge retention. In vocational education, irrelevant content may further contribute to graduates' lack of industry-aligned competencies, limiting their employability. This study aims to identify essential learning materials for the automotive panel and body frame course based on urgency, continuity, relevance, and industry application. A modified Delphi technique was used to gather expert consensus through a survey involving 21 automotive body and frame repair professionals from the automotive manufacturing and repair industry in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The questionnaire, developed based on the automotive engineering curriculum, utilized a four-point Likert scale. Data collection was conducted via Google Forms and analyzed using descriptive statistics in SPSS software. Industry experts identified key learning materials essential for vocational students, including MIG-GMAW welding procedures, repairing damaged panels made of iron, aluminum, plastic, or fiberglass, applying putty, and assessing panel surface quality after putty application. These materials were deemed critical for aligning vocational training with industry requirements. The findings emphasize the importance of refining learning content to enhance student competency and employability. By prioritizing industry-relevant skills, vocational educators can improve instructional effectiveness and better prepare graduates for the workforce. This study provides valuable insights for curriculum developers to ensure that training programs meet industry standards, ultimately enhancing student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the availability, feasibility, and level of readiness of workshop facilities majoring in Motorcycle Engineering and Business at SMK Negeri 1 Rota Bayat in preparing for the implementation of the SMK-PK program referring to Permendikbud RI Number 34 of 2018 concerning SNP SMK/MAK and Norms & Books Laboratory/Workshop Standards for Motorcycle Engineering and Business Competency Vocational Schools in 2021. This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, collecting research data using observation, documentation, and interview techniques with the research subject being the TBSM admin department and the object of this research being workshop infrastructure practice of TBSM majors, the type of validity used in this study uses content validity with instrument validityexpert judgment. Analysis of the data used descriptive analysis of the percentage. The results showed that the level of availability of workshop facilities was in the fulfilling category with a percentage of 75.91%, and the availability of workshop infrastructure was in the very fulfilling category with a percentage of 100%, while the feasibility level of workshop facilities was in the very feasible category with an achievement of 82.16%, and the feasibility of workshop infrastructure gets very decent category with 100% achievement. The level of readiness of infrastructure facilities in preparing for the implementation of the SMK-PK program received an achievement category of 83.23%. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketersediaan, kelayakan, dan tingkat kesiapan sarana prasarana bengkel jurusan Teknik dan Bisnis Sepeda Motor SMK Negeri 1 Rota Bayat dalam penyiapan penyelenggaraan program SMK-PK mengacu pada Permendikbud RI Nomor 34 tahun 2018 tentang SNP SMK/ MAK dan buku Norma & Standar Laboratorium/ Bengkel SMK Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik dan Bisnis Sepeda Motor tahun 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan subyek penelitian adalah admin jurusan TBSM dan obyek penelitian ini adalah sarana prasarana bengkel praktik jurusan TBSM, jenis validitas yang dipergunakan penelitian ini menggunakan validitas isi dengan validitas instrumen menggunakan expert judgment. Analisis data yang dipergunakan menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat ketersediaan sarana bengkel mendapat kategori memenuhi dengan persentase 75,91%, dan ketersediaan prasarana bengkel mendapat kategori sangat memenuhi dengan persentase 100%, sedangkan tingkat kelayakan sarana bengkel mendapat kategori sangat layak dengan pencapaian 82,16%, dan kelayakan pada prasarana bengkel mendapat kategori sangat layak dengan pencapaian 100%. Tingkat kesiapan sarana prasarana dalam penyiapan penyelenggaraan program SMK-PK mendapat kategori pencapaian 83,23% pencapaian tersebut membuktikan bahwa kesiapan sarana prasarana bengkel belum siap menjalankan program SMK-PK karena belum memenuhi standar minimal 100% yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh bobot roller CVT terhadap daya Sepeda Motor 150CC, (2) pengaruh bobot roller CVT terhadap torsi Sepeda Motor 150CC, dan (3) dampak bobot roller CVT terhadap akselerasi Sepeda Motor 150CC. Metode analisis deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian eksperimen ini. Mesin Sepeda Motor 150CC menjadi subjek penelitian ini. Tes ini menggunakan lima jenis variabel berat roller yang berbeda. Dinamometer digunakan dalam pengujian ini untuk mendapatkan informasi daya, torsi, dan percepatan awal untuk setiap variabel bobot. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Besarnya daya yang dihasilkan mesin dipengaruhi oleh berat roller CVT pada Sepeda Motor 150CC. Daya terbesar yang dihasilkan adalah 11,52 HP saat menggunakan roller 17 gram, sedangkan daya terkecil yang dihasilkan adalah 11,11 HP saat menggunakan roller 13 gram. (2) Besarnya torsi yang dihasilkan mesin dipengaruhi oleh berat roller CVT pada Sepeda Motor 150CC. torsi terbesar yang dihasilkan adalah 11,93 Nm saat menggunakan roller 13 gram, sedangkan yang terkecil 10,96 Nm menggunakan roller 17 gram. (3) perubahan berat roller CVT Sepeda Motor 150CC berpengaruh terhadap akselerasi yang dicapai oleh mesin, dimana akselerasi tercepat yang diperoleh 0,9 detik pada 7000 rpm dengan roller 13 gram sedangkan akselerasi paling lambat 6,9 detik pada 7000 rpm dengan roller 17 gram   Kata Kunci: pengaruh; roller; daya; torsi; akselerasi   Abstract The objectives of this study are to determine: (1) the effect of CVT roller weight on the power of a 150CC motorcycle, (2) the effect of CVT roller weight on the torque of a 150CC motorcycle, and (3) the effect of CVT roller weight on the acceleration of a 150CC motorcycle. Descriptive analysis was used in this experimental study. A 150CC motorcycle engine was the subject of this study. This test used five different roller weight variables. A dynamometer was used in this test to obtain information on power, torque, and initial acceleration for each weight variable. The findings of this study indicate: (1) The amount of power produced by the engine is influenced by the weight of the CVT roller on a 150CC motorcycle. The greatest power produced was 11.52 HP when using a 17-gram roller, while the least power produced was 11.11 HP when using a 13-gram roller. (2) The amount of torque produced by the engine is influenced by the weight of the CVT roller on a 150CC motorcycle. The largest torque produced was 11.93 Nm when using a 13-gram roller, while the smallest was 10.96 Nm when using a 17-gram roller. (3) Changes in the weight of the CVT roller of a 150CC motorcycle affect the acceleration achieved by the engine, where the fastest acceleration obtained is 0.9 seconds at 7000 rpm with a 13-gram roller, while the slowest acceleration is 6.9 seconds at 7000 rpm with a 17-gram roller.   Keywords: influence; roller; power; torque; acceleration

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) involvement of parents in learning assistance in the Covid-19 period of SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta; (2) constraints for parents in learning assistance in the Covid-19 period of SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. This research uses a type of descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population used in this study was 20 students, 20 parents, and 16 teachers of class X TBSM. The sample size of the study was 19 students, 5 parents, 5 teachers of class X TBSM 1 according to the sample size of Gay and Diehl. The data is obtained using the following instruments: (1) a closed student questionnaire; (2) open and closed questionnaires of parents; (3) open and closed questionnaires of teachers. The analysis of this research data was done with percentages and descriptive. The results of this study are: (1) The level of involvement of parents in learning assistance during the Covid-19 pandemic of SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta is in the high category with a percentage of 93.49%; (2) Parents' constraints in learning assistance during the Covid-19 pandemic are influenced by the following factors: (a) educational background; (b) economic level; (c) types of parental employment; (d) parent's available time.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine: (1) the number of graduates in 2018-2020 who are working, unemployed, and continuing their studies; (2) The average length of waiting time for graduates to get a job; (3) the Field of work of graduates; (4) The number of graduates who work under the field of expertise; (5) The number of graduates who are entrepreneurial under the field of expertise; (6) The number of graduates who continue their studies under the majors taken previously; (7) Reasons for graduates who have not worked. This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research are alumni of the Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering Expertise Program at SMK Negeri 2 Metro, especially graduates from 2018-2020. Data collection by questionnaire. Test the validity of the instrument based on expert judgment (professional judgment). The analytical technique used is descriptive quantitative where the research data are presented in percentages. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Graduates of TKRO at SMK Negeri 2 Metro as many as 47.1% are working, 9.2% are continuing their studies, and 43.8% are looking for work; (2) Most of the working alumni have a waiting period of less than 3 months; (3) Most alumni work in the service sector, as many as 54.2%; (4) Alumni who work, most of them are not following their field of expertise; (5) As many as 84.6% of alumni who are entrepreneurs, are not relevant to their field of expertise; (6) Most of the alumni who continue their studies are not following the majors taken while at SMK Negeri 2 Metro; (7) As many as 49.3% of graduates who have not found a job think that they are developing their potential. Keywords: Tracer Study, TKRO, SMK Negeri 2 Metro ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Jumlah lulusan tahun 2018-2020 yang bekerja, menganggur, dan melanjutkan studi; (2) Lama rata-rata waktu tunggu lulusan dalam memperoleh pekerjaan; (3) Bidang pekerjaan dari lulusan; (4) Jumlah lulusan yang bekerja sesuai dengan bidang keahlian; (5) Jumlah lulusan yang berwirausaha sesuai dengan bidang keahlian; (6) Jumlah lulusan yang melanjutkan studi sesuai dengan jurusan yang ditempuh sebelumnya; (7) Alasan lulusan yang belum bekerja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah alumni Program Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif SMK Negeri 2 Metro khususnya lulusan tahun 2018-2020. Pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner. Uji validitas instrument berdasarkan pada penilaian ahli (professional judgment). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dimana data hasil penelitian disajikan dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Lulusan Jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif SMK Negeri 2 Metro sebanyak 47,1% bekerja, 9,2% melanjutkan studi, dan 43,8% sedang mencari pekerjaan; (2) Sebagian besar alumni yang bekerja memiliki masa tunggu kerja selama kurang dari 3 bulan; (3) Sebagian besar alumni bekerja di bidang jasa, yaitu sebanyak 54,2%; (4) Alumni yang bekerja, Sebagian besar tidak sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya; (5) Sebanyak 84,6% alumni yang berwirausaha, tidak relevan dengan bidang keahliannya; (6) Sebagian besar alumni yang melanjutkan studi, tidak sesuai dengan jurusan yang ditempuh saat berada di SMK Negeri 2 Metro; (7) Sebanyak 49,3% lulusan yang belum memperoleh pekerjaan berpendapat bahwa mereka sedang mengembangkan potensi dalam dirinya.
