Abstract

The learning process is an important aspect of education because learning is the core of the educational process. The learning process will always take place in an activity at school, he explained, namely learning activities in class. These activities need to be created and developed into a vehicle for the success of an effective learning process. This means that separate management is needed to develop the activity, and the management in question is classroom management. As for the studies in this writing are: (1). To find out the teacher class management plans at SMP-IT AL-Fityan School Medan, (2). The ability to manage classes carried out by teachers at SMP-IT Al-Fityan School Medan, (3) What are the obstacles in managing classes. The conclusions from this study are as follows: (1) Classroom management by the teacher to achieve learning objectives must be planned in advance with clear and functional steps as teaching preparation materials; (2) The teacher must consider the characteristics and needs of students in managing the class, so that the learning method/media used is more appropriate; and (3) in classroom management, a teacher needs a variety of skills and teaching methods to meet students' needs so that learning conditions remain optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen Program Talenta di MTsN 2 Medan sebagai upaya pengembangan potensi peserta didik di luar aspek akademik. Program Talenta dirancang untuk menampung dan mengembangkan minat serta bakat siswa melalui kegiatan non-akademik yang bersifat kreatif dan kolaboratif, seperti musikalisasi puisi, seni pertunjukan, dan demonstrasi keterampilan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan program dilakukan melalui lima fungsi manajemen, diantaranya: perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, koordinasi, dan pengawasan, dengan keterlibatan aktif kepala madrasah, wakil kepala madrasah, guru, wali kelas, dan peserta didik. Program ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, motivasi, serta keterampilan sosial siswa, sekaligus memperkuat nilai karakter dan soft skills. Keberhasilan Program Talenta dipengaruhi oleh penerapan manajemen yang sistematis, kolaboratif, serta berbasis nilai-nilai keagamaan dan pendekatan humanis. Oleh karena itu, program ini menjadi strategi efektif dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang holistik, inklusif, dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses perencanaan pelaksanaan kebijakan-kebijakan yang diambil yang diambil sekolah SMP IT Nurul Ilmi dalam menerima peserta didik berkebutuhan Khusus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tekni analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan data. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, Wali kelas IX, Tata Usaha, Guru Pendamping Khusus (GPK) yang ada di SMP IT Nurul Ilmi. Hasil penelitian ini, mengungkapkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan penerimaan peserta didik baru khususnya anak berkebutuhan khusus sekolah  mengidentifikasi anak berkebutuhan khusus melalui tes psikologi, dengan tes psikologi ini tenaga pendidik dapat mengetahui keterbatasan apa yang dimiliki setiap anak sehingga tenaga pendidik dapat memberikan metode pengajaran yang sesuai, dan kebijiakan yang dibuat sekolah SMP IT Nurul Ilmi adalah setiap anak yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus, orang tua harus memiliki guru pendamping khusus (GPK)/shadow yang akan membantu guru dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the interpersonal communication patterns of school principals contribute to enhancing organizational motivation among teachers. Specifically, it examines the forms of communication employed to address motivational challenges, the current condition of teacher motivation, and the factors influencing principal-teacher interactions. A descriptive qualitative approach with field research was employed, involving interviews, observations, and document analysis with principals, vice-principals, teachers, and education staff as informants. Data were analyzed through data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, while validity was ensured using source, technique, and time triangulation. Findings indicate that principals implement interpersonal communication effectively through a combination of formal and informal channels that are open, dialogical, and supportive, fostering teacher motivation via clear direction, appreciation, active participation, and harmonious working relationships. Key supporting factors include open and egalitarian leadership, a conducive work environment, and a stable organizational climate. These results suggest that principal communication strategies are vital for promoting organizational motivation and cultivating a positive and collaborative school culture.
