Abstract

Organizations culture have a significant impact on the performance and success of an organization, and cultural change is often necessary to deal with evolving challenges. The purpose of this study is to investigate how effective organizational communication can shape adaptive and innovative organizational culture through change agents. This study aims to determine the important role of organizational communication in the process of forming organizational culture through the role of change agents (Agents of Change). The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method by analyzing documents and observing in organizations that experience cultural change. The collected data is systematically analyzed to identify the role of organizational communication in shaping the new organizational culture. The results show that open, inspiring, and ongoing organizational communication plays a key role in communicating the vision of change, explaining the reasons behind change, and facilitating constructive dialogue throughout the organization. Effective communication also supports the education and training of employees, engages them in change, and sustains the cultural change that has been achieved. Thus, this study highlights the importance of organizational communication in shaping an adaptive and innovative organizational culture through change agents.

Abstract

The research is an analysis of the behavior of a number of marketplaces that are in great demand by Indonesia people, namely Tokopedia and Shopee in reviewing products they have purchased. The research method used in this research is digital ethnography which tries to reveal the motives and meaning as well as the world view of the marketplace consciously by consumers of Tokopedia and Shopee underwear. The primary data in this research is consumer review conversation data, screenshots, and interviews with reviewers in the second marketplaces. The secondary data in this research is various literature related to consumer behavior. The results of the research show that exhibitionist sexual behavior dominates reviews with vulgar photos and videos showing male genitals, buttocks and other sexy body parts. This proves that there are no ethical controls carried out by the three marketplaces in order to protect other consumers.

Abstract

Politics in Indonesia is currently in the public spotlight, especially ahead of the democratic party in 2024. The YouTube channel @TotalPolitik exists as a medium that consistently discusses the latest political issues through discussions with Indonesian political figures. The content uploaded on this channel is not only easily accessible to all groups, but also opens up discussion space through the comments column feature which allows netizens to express their views and opinions. This research aims to analyze how netizen conversations in the comments column of the YouTube Channel @TotalPolitik reflect the public's response to current political issues, especially in the era of the end of President Joko Widodo's term. By using a qualitative approach and online conversation analysis methods to understand interaction patterns, structures and communication dynamics that occur on digital platforms, this research finds that the YouTube Channel @TotalPolitik acts as a digital public space, where people can obtain information, express opinions and discuss openly about political communication. Analysis of netizen conversations in the comments column shows that there is a close relationship between topics in content and netizen conversation patterns, which creates public opinion about politics in Indonesia today. Several comments from the research results show criticism from the public towards the government in the Joko Widodo era which seemed to open up opportunities for political dynasties and nepotism.

Abstract

School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS) is a government program aimed at improving the quality of primary and secondary education. Transparency in the management of the BOS funds has become crucial to the accountability and effectiveness of the program. The aim of this study is to explain the transparency efforts of the Humas Kemendikbudristek in managing information related to the use of the BOS funds. The purpose of this research is to know and explain the efforts of Kemendikkbudrsitek in transparency of information concerning the management of the Bos fund. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are done through literature studies. Data is analyzed using Miles and Huberman model. The results of the research showed that Kemendikbudristek has made various efforts to improve the transparency of information related to the use of BOS funds. These efforts include: publication of information on the official website bos.kemdikbud.go.id, creation of infographics and video education, implementation of socialization and workshops, use of social media, public information request service by information and documentation managers and provision of complaints channels through the integrated service unit Kemendikbudristek. Nevertheless, there are still some weaknesses in the transparency of information, such as the lack of detailed information on how the BOSS funds are used by each BOS fund recipient school as well as lack of public participation in monitoring the use of BOSS. The findings also highlighted the need for improved training of school managers to avoid continuous misuse of BOSS funds, simplification of information systems, and more effective strategies to involve the public in monitoring the use of BOS funds. The study provides recommendations for improvement of information transparency policies and practices to improve accountability and efficiency of public fund management in the education sector.

Abstract

PT. Sinar Asia Perkasa (e-Print) merupakan perusahaan manufacture yang bergerak di bidang tinta printer, kertas foto, toner dan ribbon. Perusahaan ini telah berdiri sejak tahun 2000. Gaya kepemimpinan Manajer Marketing E-print dalam melakukan komunikasi baik kepada staf maupun kepada customer. Interaksi simbolik adalah suatu aktivitas yang merupakan ciri khas manusia yakni komunikasi atau pertukaran simbol yang diberi makna. Semua interaksi antar individu manusia melibatkan suatu pertukaran simbol. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Gaya kepemimpinan Manajer Marketing E-print pada internal (staf marketing) dan eksternal (customer). Paradigma yang digunakan adalah Post Positivisme dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian ini Manajer Marketing e-print gaya komunikasi “the controlling style” dan “The equalitarian style”. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa Gaya komunikasi Manajer Marketing e-print ialah gaya komunikasi “the controlling style”. Manajer Marketing e-print menekankan komunikasi satu arah (one way communivation) yang menimbulkan kesan mengendalikan, serta mempersuasi orang lain. Namun di lain kesempatan menggunakan komunikasi “The equalitarian style”.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of political communication integration in the school curriculum on its impact on student activism in junior high schools. The study is based on the increasing role of civic education in shaping students' political participation, especially in the digital era, where students' have easy access to political information through various social media platforms. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation taken from students, teachers, and activities at school and data analysis with the Miles and Huberman approach. The findings of this study that political communication in class and extracurricular activities increases students' knowledge of politics and their intention to participate in elections. Integration of political communication through discussion and use of social media enriches students political views and encourages them to voice political opinions openly. Civic learning experiences at school serve as strong predictors of students' offline political involvement, including in social movements and campaign activities. The implications of this study indicate the importance of political education in schools to form students who are more informed, critical, and active in political life, as well as strengthening the role of schools as agents of social change in building political awareness of the younger generation.

Abstract

Dewasa ini organisasi pemuda mengalami perkembangan yang luar biasa, baik dalam perkembangan pemikiran, karakter dan taklupa komunikasi serta penanganan berbagai masalah dan tidak lupa juga kontribusi ide dan gagasan dalam pembangunan baik daerah atau nasional. Peran pemuda sebagai agen perub ahan (agent of change) memiliki potensi yang sangat besar membawa dampak perubahan sosial yang signifikan, tetunya perubahan harus memiliki kepemimpinan yang kuat dan mampu mengarahkan ketujuan yang lebih besar. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan studi kasus, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bagaimana integritas pemimpin dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dapat memperkuat kapabilitas organisasi dalam mencetak pemuda yang berdaya, mandiri, dan bertanggung jawab. Tentunya hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan dan edukasi bagi organisasi yang berfokus pada pemberdayaan pemuda dalam merancang strategi kepemimpinan yang lebih efektif, serta menekankan pentingnya integritas dalam mewujudkan visi organisasi yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research focuses on the marketing communication strategy of Lokalate products in building brand awareness among multimedia Nusantara University students. The method used in this research is a case study related to the $P: produk, place, price and promotion. The research results show: Lokalate products aim to present instant coffee product with different flavor variants from their competitors, namely with local (Indonesia) flavors. By Lokalate is by holding a smart campaign as mentioned above, for example on campuses targeting students in campus areas. The promotion that Lokalate chose to do this marketing was due to the high demand for coffee among young people such as college students on the UMN campus.

Abstract

This topic of this research is sexual violence that occurred on commuter line electric trains in the Jabodetabek area. This study aims to investigates the experiences of women victims of sexual violence on commuter line trains. Taking a social setting in the Jabodetabek area, namely the Jakarta-Tangerang City, Jakarta-Rangkasbitung Banten, Jakarta-Bekasi West Java and Jakarta-Bogor West Java routes, the researcher also explored the factors of victims not reporting the violence experienced and the conditions after experiencing violence. This study uses a case study method, with 149 commuter line KRL passengers as research subjects. The findings show that 24 passengers on the Jakarta-Tangerang City route, 1 in 6 passengers experienced sexual harassment and occurred in 2018, and 2023. Data from 41 female users of the KRL computer line on the Jakarta-Rangkasbitung Banten route, 1 in 4 women have experienced sexual harassment. Meanwhile, data from 38 female passengers who were interviewed on the Jakarta-Bekasi route in West Java showed that 1 in 5 passengers experienced sexual harassment while they were using the KRL commuter line. Data from 46 female passengers interviewed showed that 1 in 4 women had experienced sexual harassment on the Jakarta-Bogor West Java KRL route. The conclusion of this study shows that the process of silencing victims of sexual violence because the stigma of the victim is negative, the victim is placed in the position of the guilty party, unable to protect themselves, obliged to accept this behaviour, and must be silent to accept their weak nature.

Abstract

This research is a narrative analysis research on YouTube Social media by analyzing the content on the Asisi Channel. The method used in this research is narrative analysis. The results of the study show that there are two narratives related to the narrative of the three sacred areas in the temple, namely: the Jaba Mandala, the madya mandala, and Utama mandala. Second, the narrative about the mythological Garuda as a warrior who feed his mother, Dewi Winata from the slavery of the Naga (Dewi Kadru) which contains Hindu philosophical values and is applied in the Indonesia government system.
