Abstract

Every employee would expect a career enhancement in his job. There are many factors that affect employee careers. This study aims to examine the influence of Competence, Transformational Leadership, Social Capital and Performance to Career Employees of Mercu Buana University, is a quantitative research with Path Analysis method. This research was conducted at Mercu Buana University in West Jakarta area, the research sample was 185 employees using Simple Random Sampling method. Associated with the performance of employees, the results showed that there is an influence of competence on performance, there is the influence of transformational leadership on performance, there is the influence of social capital on performance. In the case of employee career, the result of research indicate that there is influence of competence to career of employee, there is influence of employee career performance, there is influence of social capital to career of employee. The result of path analysis gives a structural equation Y = 0,258X1 + 0,213X2 + 0,229X3 + 0,416X4 + 0,36. Thus it can be explained that the most direct influence on Employee Career is a Performance variable of 41.6%, while the Competence variable of 25.8% and social capital variable of 22.9%. Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang berkecimpung pada industri kosmetik terbesar di Indonesia. Setiap perangkat industri yang digunakan dalam pembuatan kosmetik merupakan alat-alat terkini serta menerapkan standar operasional yang ketat dalam pelaksanaannya. Kebutuhan operasional saat ini adalah mengoptimalkan operasional penggunaan barcode sehingga keluaran produk dalam bentuk boks inner dan master telah diidentifikasi dengan stiker barcode dan data-datanya tersimpan dalam database. Kebutuhan lainnya adalah pengontrolan minimum dan maksimum berat boks dalam rangka standarisasi produk dari hasil produksi, apabila tidak sesuai dengan maka hasil  produksi tersebut dapat dievaluasi kembali. Aplikasi Barcode dan Timbangan merupakan system aplikasi penunjang yang berfungsi sebagai saringan akhir dari produk dan mencetak informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam bentuk Barcode batang dan QR-code. Diharapkan penerapan barcode ini dapat meningkatkan kinerja manajemen perusahaan terutama pada bagian produksi dan operasional penjualan. Selain itu juga dapat mengurangi biaya operasional karena dapat menghindari kerugian dari kesalahan pencatatan data dan mengurangi pekerjaan manual yang dilakukan secara berulang-ulang.

Abstract

Credit is a belief that one is given to a person or other entity which is concerned in the future will fulfill all the obligations previously agreed. The objective of research is necessary to do credit analysis to determine the feasibility of a credit crunch, through credit analysis results, it can be seen whether the customer is feasible or not. The methods are is used to predict credit worthiness is by using two models, models classification algorithm C4.5 and C4.5 classification algorithm model based Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). After testing with these two models found that the result C4.5 classification algorithm generates a value of 90.99% accuracy and AUC value of 0.911 to the level diagnostics Classification Excellent, but after the optimization with C4.5 classification algorithm based on Particle Swarm Optimization accuracy values amounted to 91.18% and the AUC value of 0.913 to the level of diagnosis Excellent Classification. These both methods have different accuracy level of 0.18%.

Abstract

Mercubuana University (UMB) is a private university that was getting Higher Education Accreditation (Akreditasi Institusi Perguruan Tinggi - AIPT) with an A in 2016. UMB has implemented E-learning since 2009 in all faculties. E-learning users, such as students and professors, can use an E-Learning Mercubuana University for 24 (twenty four) hours with a range of facilities as well as the use of Single Sign-On for login. Facilities at E-Learning are the Dashboard, Course Overview, Forum, Quiz, Assignment, and others. In this research, The questionnaire was designed using the PIECES framework modified and distributed to 23 lectures and 23 students related to college the first semester of 2016-2017 with a sample random sampling method. The result of Implementation of online courses at the University Mercubuana Agree that there is value in Performance (67%), Information (61.7%), Economic (79.37%), Control (61.61%), and Service (61.97%). As for the assessment in the implementation Eficiency to E-Learning is Strongly Agree (80.81%).

Abstract

The need for technology to handle various problems quickly and precisely is growing, especially for human resource management (HRM) information systems. The activity of manually recording employee data is very time-consuming and effortless so it is inefficient and results in a high percentage of data errors. With information technology, it is expected that company data, especially employee data, can be processed quickly and the data presented will be neater, so the percentage of errors is also reduced. The object of this research is PT. Klik Teknologi Indonesia, where HRM in this company has not been supported by information system technology. Management of leave and reimburse is still managed manually. Another problem that occurs is about the attendance of employees who work remotely, where there is no system to handle it, making it difficult to manage attendance data from these employees. This is the basis of research and development of web-based HRM information systems created with the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method using waterfall model, while the programming language used is Ruby, with Ruby on Rails framework and PostgreSQL database. From the implementation of the system it can be concluded that the HRM information system makes the management of human resources in the company easier, faster and more accurate, besides the system created provide facilities to perform virtual absences in real time, so that data can be managed by HR department.

Abstract

Dewasa ini banyak sekali device terutama smartphone terpasang fitur NFC, sayangnya tidak semua pengguna mengetahui manfaat dan fungsi dari NFC itu sendirri. NFC (Near Field Communication) adalah perangkat standard yang memungkin smartphone dan perangkat lain bisa berkomunikasi ketika di dekatkan. NFC bekerja seperti RFID, NFC memiliki jangkauan yang lebih pendek dari RFID. Dengan metode sama halnya seperti RFID bahkan lebih unggul karena jarak yang dibutuhkan lebih dekat dengan sumber tidak halnya RFID menjadikan teknologi ini jauh lebih aman. Hasil yang diharapkan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi NFC dalam penelitian ini memudahkan proses belajar mengajar bagi mahasiswa dan juga dosen pengampu dalam memberikan materi perkuliahan walaupun jaringan internet sedang off.

Abstract

Quality human resources and ,have global competitiveness are the determinants of the success of MSMEs. Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM) is one of the tools that can be used to manage the MSME workforce. Green human resource management is the management of human resources in a sustainable manner by paying attention to environmental aspects to preserve nature in the management of the company. The application of green HRM is one form of efforts to increase productivity and company commitment (MSMEs) in preserving the environment. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to MSME actors about improving the quality of human resources through training and assistance involving stakeholders, namely local governments, entrepreneurs and academics to improve MSME competitiveness and implementing Green HRM strategies to improve MSME employee performance.

Abstract

Android is an operating system for mobile phones based on Linux. Android provides an open platform for developers to create their own applications for use by a variety of mobile devices. Android has various advantages as software that uses computer code base that can be distributed openly (open source) so that users can create new applications therein. Currently provided Android SDK (Software Development Kit) as a tool and APIs necessary to begin developing applications on the Android platform using the Java programming language. Abstract

This research is based on the low performance of teachers in terms of the ability and professionalism of teachers in teaching and learning activities. The purpose of the study looked at the Influence of Motivation and Leadership on the Performance of Honorary Teachers through Work Discipline as a Mediation Variable in Tangerang Regency State High School. Quantitative research methods with data analysis methods are carried out with a Structural Equation Model or SEM approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS) is a structural equation model or SEM based on components or variants of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The sample studied was the entirety of the existing population, namely 80 honorary teachers of SMA Negeri 14, 20, and 21 in Tangerang Regency. Based on the analysis of this study obtained the results that 1) Motivation affects work discipline; 2) Leadership affects Work Discipline; 3) Work discipline affects the Performance of Honorary Teachers; 4) Motivation affects Teacher Performance 5) Leadership affects the performance of honorary teachers; 6) Motivation indirectly affects the performance of honorary teachers through Work Discipline; 7) Leadership indirectly affects the performance of honorary teachers through Work Discipline. In conclusion, teacher performance is influenced by motivation, work discipline and leadership.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the factors that will affect organizational performance. Those factors include compensation, flexible working arrangement (FWA), organizational culture and employee engagement. This study will examine the effect of compensation, FWA and organizational culture on employee engagement. Moreover, it will analyze how employee engagement mediates the effect of compensation, FWA and organizational culture on organizational performance. The population in this study accounted for 115 permanent employees in the Business Division of a telecommunication company in Indonesia. The sample consisted of 90 employees using the Slovin formula calculation. The sampling technique used in this study is a simple random sampling technique. The sample was chosen randomly without regard to strata in the population. The research method used is quantitative explanatory with SEM-PLS. According to the analysis of the study, the result has proved that: compensation, FWA and organizational culture have positive and significant effects on employee engagement; compensation, organizational culture and employee engagement have positive and significant effects on organizational performance; FWA has no significant effect on organizational performance; Employee engagement mediates the effects of compensation, FWA and organizational culture on organizational performance.
