Abstract

Keterkaitan antara sektor pertanian dengan sektor perindustrian perlu terus ditingkatkan dengan mengembangkan agroindustri. Pengembangan agroindustri diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan industri kecil sekaligus untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan. Usaha pengolahan Gula Merah Aren menjadi komoditi andalan di wilayah Kabupaten Rejang Lebong, ada sekitar 400 petani aren nilai kapasitas produksi 6.710 Kg dari beberapa jenis komoditi andalan lainnya. Permintaan Gula Merah Aren di pasaran cukup meningkat hal ini dikarenakan kepuasan yang dirasakan konsumen dalam penggunaan kualitas produk tersebut (Karmadi, 2003).Responden penelitian sebanyak 20 orang petani pengolahan Gula Merah Aren yang bertempat tinggal di Desa Air Meles Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Penentuan sampel ditentukan dengan metode sensus yaitu dengan melakukan pendataan seluruh anggota kelompok dilokasi penelitian. Analisis pendapatan usaha pengolahan Gula Merah Aren di Desa Air Meles sebesar Rp 382.589.000-/tahun dengan rata-rata pendapatan petani sebesar Rp 19,129,450,-/tahun. Analisis Profitability Ratio suatu usaha pembuatan Gula Merah Aren di Desa Air Meles layak diusahakan secara finansial karena memiliki nilai rata-rata PV/K > 1 yaitu sebesar 1,47.

Abstract

Achantus ilicifolius atau dikenal dengan nama Jeruju merupakan salah satu jenis mangrove yang banyak dijumpai di wilayah pesisir Kota Bengkulu. Fungsi Jeruju adalah sebagai fitoteknologi, yaitu sebagai indikator rusaknya kondisi ekosistem mangrove. Upaya pelestarian Jeruju perlu dilakukan yang salah satunya dengan memberikan nilai tambah berupa pemanfaatannya sebagai produk olahan teh yang memiliki manfaat bagi kesehatan. Pemanfaatan Jeruju sebagai teh akan memberikan nilai manfaat secara ekonomi, ekologis maupun kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan kepada ibu-ibu rumah tangga Kampung Jenggalu Kito yang digagas oleh Lestari Alam Laut untuk Negeri. Tujuan kegiatan adalah untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan Jeruju sebagai teh, meningkatkan rasa kepedulian masyarakat terhadap ekosistem mangrove, mendorong masyarakat agar dapat menjadi wirausahawan mandiri dengan memanfaatkan daun Jeruju dan mengurangi kerusakan mangrove akibat penebangan secara liar oleh masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan inovasi kemasan dan pengolahan sederhana Jeruju sebagai teh. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat mitra sebesar 65 % dari 18 peserta ibu ibu rumah tangga yang diundang dan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat dalam melestarikan ekosistem mangrove serta terciptanya peluang usaha teh daun Jeruju.

Abstract

Toko “Nayla Buah” mampu mengungguli ke 21 persaingan tersebut dengan menjadi salah satu toko buah terkenal di Kota Bengkulu. mengetahui apa yang memuat toko Nayla buah mampu mengungguli persaingan penjualan buah segar di area sekitarnya merupakan pertanyaan yang ingin dijawab oleh peneliti. Sehingga peneliti memandang perlu melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut. Salah satu cara untuk menyusun strategi pemasaran adalah dengan melakukan studi analisis strategi pemasaran yaitu dengan melakukan penelitian tentang analisis strategi pemasaran Toko Nayla Buah. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk memperoleh rumusan strategi pemasaran yang dianggap sesuai dengan situasi kondisi pada pemasaran Toko Nayla Buah berdasarkan pada faktor internal serta eksternal yang dimilik. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan observasi ke lapangan dengan sasarannya meliputi pejabat pemerintah, konsumen toko, dan manajer atau karyawan toko “Nayla Buah.” Selain observasi data juga dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner serta dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh melalui analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis SWOTToko tersebut memiliki peluang dan kekuatan sehingga dapat memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Strategi yang harus diterapkan dalam kondisi ini adalah mendukung kebijakan pertumbuhan yang agresifstrategi SWOT untuk pemasaran pada toko “Nayla Buah” berupa strategi Agresif dengan rumusan strategi S-O sebagai berikut : 1) Terus menambah variasi produk 2) Mengoptimalkan kualitas buah 3) Menjaga kepercayaan konsumen 4) Mengoptimalkan jumlah ketersediaan buah

Abstract

Pasar Pedati Village in Central Bengkulu Regency is one of the regions with a relatively high production of young coconuts. The demand for young coconuts has been increasing yearly, driven by various factors, including population growth. This study aims to analyze the level of demand for young coconuts and assess the influence of factors such as the price of young coconuts, watermelon prices, traders' income, seasons, and sales systems on the demand for young coconuts in Pasar Pedati Village. This research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing questionnaires and interviews conducted with 65 young coconut traders selected using the census sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple coefficient of determination analysis (R²) with the assistance of SPSS Statistics 25 software. Hypotheses were tested using both simultaneous regression analysis (F-test) and partial regression analysis (T-test). The findings reveal that the demand for young coconuts is high, with 60% of respondents reporting strong demand. Partial analysis indicates that the price of young coconuts and traders' income significantly influence demand, while simultaneous testing shows that all independent variables collectively have a significant impact on the dependent variable. The adjusted R-square value is 0.856, indicating that 85.6% of the variance in young coconut demand is explained by the independent variables, namely, the price of young coconuts, watermelon prices, traders' income, seasons, and sales systems, while the remaining 14.4% is explained by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the estimated trend of mustard greens production and consumption in Bengkulu Province for the next 10 years 2022 - 2031. This research was conducted in Bengkulu Province using secondary data, with analysis using the least squares method. The results of this research show that the predicted trend in the estimated production of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) in Bengkulu Province in 2022 - 2031 shows a straight line movement from bottom left to top right, that mustard greens production tends to increase, with the average growth being 0.989 percent per year starting from the forecast year for mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) commodities in the next 10 year period for Bengkulu Province, the average growth is 0.989% per year, starting from 2022 amounting to around 32,782 tons, in 2023 amounting to around 32,839 tons, in 2024 amounting to around 32,897 tons, in 2025 totaling around 32,954 tons, in 2026 totaling around 33,012 tons, in 2027 totaling around 33,070 tons, in 2028 totaling around 33,120 tons, in 2029 totaling around 33,185 tons, in 2030 totaling around 33.24 tons, in 2031 amounting to around 33,305 tons. The estimated trend of consumption of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) in Indonesia in 2022 - 2031 shows a straight line movement from bottom left to top right, that consumption of mustard greens tends to increase, with an average growth of 1.144 percent per starting from 2022 amounting to around 1.65 tonnes, in 2023 amounting to around 1.66 tonnes, in 2024 amounting to around 1.68 tonnes, in 2025 amounting to around 1.69 tonnes, in 2026 amounting to around 1.7 tonnes, in 2027 amounting to around 1.72 tons, in 2028 amounting to around 1.73 tons, in 2029 amounting to around 1.74 tons, in 2030 amounting to around 1.75 tons, and in 2031 amounting to around 1.76 tons.

Abstract

Consumer satisfaction is one of the important things in marketing. If consumers feel satisfied with a product from a restaurant, generally the consumer will continue to buy and consume. The aim of this research is to determine the level of consumer satisfaction with fresh, beautiful kalamansi syrup at the Sari Rasa gift shop in Bengkulu City. Based on research on the level of consumer satisfaction with fresh, beautiful kalamansi syrup in the Sari Rasa gift shop in Bengkulu City, it can be concluded that the level of consumer satisfaction with fresh, beautiful kalamansi syrup in the Sari Rasa gift shop in Bengkulu City is going well. then the consumer satisfaction index averages 3.79 in the good category

Abstract

Sawang Lebar Village is one of the villages located in Tanjung Agung Palik District, North Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province. Based on data from the Bengkulu Tengah Regency Agriculture Service in 2023, farmers in Sawang Lebar Village generally grow tomatoes as their daily source of income. The nature of tomatoes is that they rot quickly so that unsold fruit is simply thrown away. The purpose of this community service activity is to form a tomato noodle and healthy stick processing business unit and to increase the skills and knowledge of members of the Sabar Subur and Bina Karya Farmers Group regarding food processing. This tomato noodle and healthy stick processing activity has been carried out for 1 month from preparation to implementation of the activity for the implementation of the activity at the Village Hall in Sawang Lebar Village, Tanjung Agung Palik District, North Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province which was attended by mothers from the Sabar Subur and Bina Karya Farmers Group consisting of 20 (twenty) people. During the activity, there were no obstacles faced because each participant, the day before the activity was carried out, had received material on processing tomato sticks and tomato noodles.

Abstract

Air Putih Village is a village that has just expanded from its main village on September 15 2011. Therefore Air Putih Village is still in the process of learning to become a more advanced and superior village in various sectors. The agricultural sector is very important in supporting the local, national and international economy. Of course, the agricultural sector is also expected to be able to become a supporting sector for Air Putih Village to become a village that is more independent in the economy and food. The problem that is often faced is the increase in the price of basic commodities which continues to soar, this of course contributes to the economic difficulties of the people who live in poverty, while vegetable crops support basic commodities. In order to meet the needs and convenience of food for the people of Air Putih Village, the Dehasen University Faculty of Agriculture Community Service team and partners agreed to hold a socialization for the use of yards. The yard of the house can be used as a planting medium for various vegetables to support people's daily food needs. This makes it easier for people to meet their needs for minerals and vitamins. Besides that, it can help the community's economy by reducing expenses for vegetable needs. So counseling and training was carried out on the use of home yards by planting various vegetables. The benefits of using yard land economically are able to reduce family expenses and even if it is occupied can provide additional family income.

Abstract

This community empowerment program aims to educate residents of Desa IV Suku Menanti on making an organic pesticide called “Pestoganik” from overripe tomatoes and natural ingredients. Pestoganik utilizes bioactive compounds such as tomatine and solanine in tomatoes, combined with garlic, tobacco, lemongrass oil, baking soda, and vinegar. The method involved hands-on training, ingredient demonstrations, and application tests. The solution proved effective in reducing pest populations such as aphids and leaf borers by more than 60% within a week. Additionally, it is low-cost, environmentally friendly, and easy to replicate using local materials. The training not only improved pest management but also raised awareness of sustainable farming practices. This activity demonstrates a simple, community-based solution to reduce dependence on chemical pesticides.

Abstract

Purpose: To determine the supply chain flow of Seginim rice in the Panorama Traditional Market in Bengkulu City and the factors influencing demand for it. Methodology: The research method uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques, including questionnaires and interviews. The sample of traders comprised six shops/traders, and the sample of consumers comprised 86 individuals, selected using the accidental sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and quantitative methods, as well as multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The results showed that the supply chain for Seginim rice in the traditional market in Panorama, Bengkulu City, starts with the producers (namely farmers), then moves to wholesalers, agents or collectors, and finally to retailers (Panorama Market), before being distributed to consumers. The factors affecting demand for Seginim rice in the Panorama traditional market in Bengkulu City are consumer tastes and income, while the number of family dependants and the prices of Seginim and IR64 rice have no effect.Findings: It is evident that demand for Seginim rice in the Panorama market is high, with almost every rice stall selling Seginim rice. Conclusion: Rice supplied to the traditional Panorama market in Bengkulu comes from wholesalers who buy directly from rice farmers in the Seginim area. Type of paper: Research Paper
