Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of coaching training in improving problem solving skills of PT.X supervisor in East Kalimantan. The hypothesis is that coaching training could enhance the ability of problem solving of supervisor. Coaching consists of four aspects, there are able to understand the problem, able to seek and assess alternative solutions, able to implement the solution, and able to carry out an evaluation of the solutions that have been implemented. The study involved 26 new supervisors with tenure 1-3 years. Measuring instrument was problem solving scale (Ellis and Hunt, 1993), which had 25 items. Data analysis using independent sample t-test showed a nonsignificance value of p value (p = 0.506> 0.05) in the post-test, the hypothesis stated are not accepted. Thus, there is no difference in the ability of solving problems in experimental and control groups. However, when the implementation of the follow-up showed a significance value p value (p = 0.030> 0.05), which indicates that there are differences in post-test to follow up of the experimental group. Keywords: coaching training, problem solving ability

Abstract

This reserach examined the effect of Odoo Human Capital Training (OHCT) to improve ERP-Efficacy of psychology students. The reasearch is an intervention to improve efficacy about ERP softwares. This research used classroom action research (CAR) method of quasi experimental type with nonequivalent control group with pretest and posttest design. The participants were 35 students, with 18 students assigned to experimental group and 17 students to control group. The experimental group was trained for 4-5 hours each day within two days. The ERP-Efficacy was mesured by the ERP-Efficacy Questionnaire (ERPEQ) using 3 aspect from Compeau dan Higgins (1995). The aspect are ERP magnitude, ERP strength, and ERP generalizability. The data were analyzed by using anava mixed design. The result showed there was a significant difference of ERP-Efficacy between experimental and control group for pretest, posttest and follow up observations, with a value of F (37.25) and p (0.000). These hypothesis of this research that the effect of OHCT can improve the ERP-Efficacy among psychology students were accepted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efikasi kinerja tim dengan me-lakukan implementasi analisis strength, opportunities, aspirations, dan result (SOAR) dalam bentuk workshop. Subjek dalam penelitian berjumlah delapan orang yang merupakan anggota tim panitia inti penerimaan mahasiswa baru di Sekolah Tinggi X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eks-perimen dan survei menggunakan skala efikasi kinerja tim yang diadaptasi dari kuesioner kinerja tim Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) oleh Temkin-Greener et al. (2004). Data diana-lisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan gain score. Uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan Z sama dengan -2,033 dan p sama dengan 0,042 untuk efikasi prates ke pascates, dan Z sama dengan -2,524 dan p sama dengan 0,012 dari efikasi prates ke tindak lanjut. Uji gain score menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan dua poin hingga 38 poin pada saat pascates dan peningkatan tiga hingga 42 poin pada saat tindak lanjut. Dengan demikian, diketahui bahwa analisis SOAR mampu meningkatkan efikasi kinerja tim. Aspek efikasi kinerja tim yang mengalami peningkatan melalui intervensi workshop ini adalah komunikasi dan koordinasi. Subjek yang memahami fungsi analisis SOAR secara luas atau langsung mengimplemen-tasikan metode ini mengalami peningkatan efikasi kinerja tim paling tinggi.

Abstract

Work engagement played an important role for companies because it would have an impact on high employee performance which would lead to profits for the company. One of the things that can affect work engagement is personality. Therefore, this study aimed at the role of personality orientation according to the dimensions of the anchor personality theory on work engagement. This study involved 151 employees of PT X as research participants. The research design used in this study is to use a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The measuring tool used in this study is the work engagement scale developed by Hayuningtyas & Helmy (2015) and the short version of the Anchor Personality Inventory compiled by Itsnaini & Riyono (2022). Then the data obtained by purposive sampling method through questionnaires distributed randomly to employees working at PT.X. The data obtained were then analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that increasing anchor self and virtues will significantly increase work engagement. Meanwhile, an increase in anchor materials and others will not significantly increase work engagement.   Work engagement membawa peran penting bagi perusahaan sebab akan berdampak pada tingginya kinerja karyawan yang akan bermuara pada keuntungan bagi perusahaan tersebut. Salah satu hal yang dapat mempengaruhi work engagement adalah kepribadian. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan peran orientasi kepribadian menurut dimensi pada anchor personality theory terhadap work engagement. Penelitian ini melibatkan 151 karyawan PT.X sebagai partisipan penelitian. Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah skala work engagement yang dikembangkan oleh Hayuningtyas & Helmy (2015) dan Anchor Personality Inventory versi singkat yang disusun oleh Itsnaini & Riyono (2022). Kemudian data diperoleh dengan metode purposive sampling melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan secara acak pada karyawan yang bekerja di PT.X. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meningkatnya anchor self dan virtues secara signifikan akan meningkatkan work engagement. Sementara itu, peningkatan anchor materials dan others tidak mempunyai peran signifikan terhadap work engagement.

Abstract

Sistem teknologi informasi yang berkaitan dengan bidang psikologi yang saat ini marak digunakan di dunia kerja antara lain adalah Enterprise Resource Planning Human Capital Management (ERPHCM). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan deskripsi tentang evaluasi usabilitas terhadap salah satu aplikasi ERP-HCM, yaitu Odoo yang digunakan untuk proses pembelajaran Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Aspek yang diuji yaitu learnability, flexibility, effectiveness, dan attitude. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei terhadap 49 mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah HRIS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai total usabilitas aplikasi Odoo mencapai 79,93%. Nilai tersebut diperoleh dari aspek learnability = 79,93%, flexibility = 73,46%, effectiveness = 77,55%, attitude = 80,61%. Hal ini berarti bahwa aplikasi Odoo layak digunakan dan dapat diterima dengan baik namun perlu dilakukan perbaikan-perbaikan berdasarkan kelemahan-kelemahan aplikasi Odoo.

Abstract

The Human Resources Information System course at the Psychology Study Program at the Islamic University of Indonesia initially used SAP HCM, but the course management team decided to change the learning tool from SAP HCM to ODOO because it is free and open source. Continuing previous research on the usability of ODOO, this research aims to evaluate the implementation of ODOO usage. This evaluation research uses the CIPP model (context, input, process, product), which focuses on process (student assessment of lecturers) and product components (final grades of 2017, 2018, and 2020 students). The Academic Section collected the data then we analyzed it using descriptive statistics and ANOVA. The results showed that the performance of lecturers in the learning process was in the high category, while the average final score was at a sufficient level (B+). There is also no difference in student evaluations of lecturers in the three years. According to this study, HRIS learning with ODOO has been effective but needs improvement.
