Abstract

Background: Many educational institutions in Indonesia are familiar with the concept of interprofessional learning or interprofessional education but not many have applied. Facilitator readiness, one of the causes of this method has not been implemented optimally. Purpose: This study aims to determine the readiness of the lecturer as a facilitator in interprofessional learning. Methods: The pre-experimental design, pre and posttest design was used to examine a sample of 20 respondents which included the lecturers of nursing, midwifery and nutrition obtained by purposive sampling. Instrument to measure the readiness of lecturers using the RIPLS questionnaire. Result: The results of statistical tests using the T-Test found that the readiness of lecturers in the positive category where there was a change in readiness before and after being given an intervention in the form of interprofessional learning training with a Pvalue of 0.021. Conclusion: Educational institutions are recommended to start developing interprofessional education models that are mutually agreed upon and supported by clear facilities, policies and regulations. Subsequent research is expected to explore more appropriate interprofessional  learning models through both qualitative and quantitative approaches

Abstract

Tingkat pengetahuan tentang pengasuhan dengan peran ayah dalam pendampingan belajar anak sangat mempengaruhi perilaku anak. Dibutuhkan perubahan perilaku, dan motivasi untuk menciptakan kesadaran pada diri ayah agar lebih peduli terhadap peran ayah dalam proses pengasuhan danpendampinganbelajardirumah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk megetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan tentang pengasuhan dengan peran ayah dalam pendampingan belajar dirumah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasi dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 27 responden dari populasi 29 menggunakan teknik sampling Purposive Sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah kuisioner. Data dianalisis menggunakanuji spearman rank untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan atau tidak. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan tentang pengasuhan sebagian besar reponden kategorinya cukup (63.0%). Sedangkan peran ayah dalam pendampingan belajar dirumah hampir seluruh responden kategorinya baik (92.6%). Hasil analisis menggunakan spearman rank diketahui p-value=0.003 α=0,05. Artinya ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang pengasuhan dengan peran ayah dalam pendampingan belajar di rumah. Berdasarkan nilai coefficient correlation (r)0.552 termasuk dalam tingkat hubungan kuat dan arah hubungan positif. Maknanya semakin baik tingkat pengetahuan tentang pengasuhan maka semakin baik pula peran ayah dalam pendampingan belajar dirumah. Peran ayah akan membentuk dan mempengaruhi terhadap pengasuhan dan pendampingan belajar di rumah. Diharapkan seluruh ayah dapat meningkat perannya dalam pendampingan belajar di rumah dengan pengetahuan tentang pengasuhan dengan lebih aktif dalam mengasuh dan mendampingi di rumah selama masa pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan skala keseimbangan, mata, wajah, tangan dan bicara (KEM-WATABI) terhadap kemampuan psychomotor kader posyandu lansia dalam melakukan skrining stroke di desa Darungan, Pare, Kediri. Penelitian menggunakan desain pre eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pre-post-test design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kader posyandu lansia sebanyak 24 kader, melalui teknik purposive sampling didapatkan subjek penelitian sebanyak 16 kader. Subjek diberikan pelatihan mulai dari sesi 1 sampai 6 yang terdiri atas kegiatan pemberian materi, demonstrasi, praktik skrining stroke pada lansia. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan kader adalah lembar observasi. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan seluruh subjek (100%) memiliki kemampuan psychomotor dalam tingkatan tidak mampu pada pre-test, hasil post-test menunjukkan 13 kader (81,25%) berada pada tingkatan mampu dan 3 kader (18,75%) berada pada tingkatan cukup mampu. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pelatihan skala KEM-WATABI terhadap kemampuan kader posyandu lansia dalam skrining stroke (pv= 0,001 < α = 0,005). Metode pelatihan yang diberikan memberikan pengalaman praktik dengan simulasi skrining stroke secara langsung pada lansia sehingga subjek mendapatkan gambaran konkrit tahapan skrining stroke, dan meningkatkan kemampuan psychomotor.

Abstract

Cara menangani luka bakar pada masyarakat sangat bervariasi, termasuk didalamnya ada pengaruh budaya. Teknik Cool, Cover and Call merupakan rangkaian cara perawatan luka bakar yang dapat dilakukan secara tepat dan cepat. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam merawat luka bakar dengan baik, mencegah infeksi dan segera mendapatkan pertolongan lebih lanjut apabila diperlukan. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah siswa di SMA Dharmawanita, Pare, Kab. Kediri sebanyak 25 orang yang dilaksanakan pada Maret 2022. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan dua tahap, tahap 1 penyampaian materi dengan pembimbingan praktek kelompok kecil, dilanjutkan tahap 2 dengan cara simulasi perawatan luka bakar setiap kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pre-test menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai wawasan siswa dalam penanganan luka bakar adalah 5,4 poin, sementara hasil post-test didapatkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai wawasan menjadi 9.16 poin. Hasil akhir didapatkan bahwa siswa dapat melakukan perawatan luka bakar sesuai dengan tahapan; mendinginkan pada air mengalir, melakukan balutan pada luka, dan menghubungi puskesmas terdekat bila luka bakar perlu pertolongan lebih lanjut. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi panduan bagi siswa dalam merawat luka bakar baik yang terjadi pada diri sendiri, maupun bagi orang lain dilingkungan sehari-hari.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Menstruasi pertama (menarche) adalah salah satu perubahan biologis yang mencolok pada remaja putri dan dipengaruhi oleh emosi. Pemberian dukungan berupa dukungan informasi yang tepat pada remaja akan menyumbangkan sugesti positif sehingga persepsi-persepsi yang keliru tentang menstruasi pertama dapat segera diluruskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan informational support family dengan kesiapan menghadapi menarche pada remaja usia 10-12 tahun di SDN Padangan 3 Kec. Kayen Kab. Kediri. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel sebanyak 46 orang (remaja putri dan ibu) diperoleh melalui total sampling. Data yang telah dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dianalisa menggunakan uji spearman rank correlation. Berdasarkan hasil uji analisa statistik spearman rank corelation didapatkan hubungan antara informational support family dengan kesiapan menghadapi menarche bersifat positif dengan r=0,601, dengan (p-value)=0,000< α berarti H0 ditolak, maka H1 diterima, maknanya bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan informasional yang diberikan oleh keluarga, maka semakin tinggi pula kesiapan dalam menghadapi menarche. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disarankan untuk memberikan dukungan keluarga yang lain pada anak seperti dukungan emosional, penilaian dan material, dengan menggunakan bahasa yang tepat sesuai usia, sehingga mudah untuk dipahami. Kata kunci: Menarche, dukungan keluarga informasional, remaja ABSTRACT The first menstruation (menarche) is one of the striking biological changes in young women (adolescents) and is influenced by emotions. Provision of support in the form of support precise information on adolescents will contribute positive suggestions so that the erroneous perceptions about the first period can be immediately rectified. This study aims to investigate the relationship informational support of familiy with readiness to face menarche in adolescents aged 10-12 years in SDN Padangan-Kayen-Kediri. The design used in the study was correlational with cross sectional approach. A sample of 46 peoples (girls and mothers) were obtained by total sampling. The data have been collected through questionnaires were analyzed using the Spearman rank correlation test. Based on the test results of the statistical analysis Spearman Rank Correlation obtained relationship between informational support of familiy with readiness to face menarche is positive with r = 0.601, with (p value) = 0,000 <α, meaning that the higher support of informational given by family, the higher the readiness to face menarche. Based on this research is suggested to provide support for other families in children such as emotional support, assessment and material, using language appropriate to the age, so it is easy to understand. Abstract

ABSTRACT Background and Aim : Anorexia can be caused by symptoms of disease or disorders / conditions in the digestive system. To overcome the problem in anorexia that is by examining the cause of decreased or loss of appetite,where the problem of discomfort in the oral cavity can be done oral hygiene with salt water rinse.Oral hygiene is an action to clean and  refresh the mouth to eat and avoid pathogenic microfloral. This research aims to determine the effect of salt solution rinses on appetite in anorexia patients at Amelia Pare Hospital. Methods : The research design used was Pre Experiment Design with one group pre-post design approach. The population in this research were all patients with anorexia who were hospitalized at Amelia Hospital. Research time was 15-29 February 2020. The sampling technique was done by accidental sampling, as many as 30 respondents. The research instrument was a questionnaire and observation sheet, the statistical test used was the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results : the identification of appetite in anorexic patients before being given the majority of salt water rinse or more than half of respondents (53.3%) was in a pretty bad criterion. While the results of the identification of appetite in anorexic patients after being given salt water rinses showed the majority or almost half of respondents (46.7%) were in pretty good criteria. Conclusion : Based on the Wilcoxon signed rank test, p value =0,001or p α  which means there is an effect of salt water  rinse on increasing appetite in anorexia patients. Where salt contains sodium chloride which is naturally osmotic which works to absorb fluids in tissues or cells and can make bases, there by increasing pH in the mouth which can limit the amount of bacterialgrowth. Besides salt also contains water moleculer that are isotonicand do not irritate mucous membranes. This research is expected to be a reference for further research in patients who experience discomfort in the oral cavity. Keywords : oral hygiene, Salt solution, Appetite, Anorexia

Abstract

Children's golden age is from 0 to 6 years old. Children of this age are very sensitive to the stimuli of their environment, especially the knowledge and skills they acquire from their parents. The purpose of this study was to describe early childhood growth and development during the Covid-19 pandemic. In a study design used descriptively in 54 children aged 2 to 3 years, using a sample of 10 respondents identified by targeted sampling techniques, the study instrument consisted of the following items: used early detection screening for developmental abnormalities in children, including: Weight and height, developmental pre-screening questionnaire for children aged 24-36 months, hearing test, vision test. Ratings are based on percentage formulas and are interpreted quantitatively. Results showed that almost all respondents (90%) had normal nutrition and all (100%) had normal head circumference when it came to growth. From a development perspective, almost all respondents (80%) have corresponding standards. All respondents (100%) had a normal baseline hearing test. All respondents (100%) had a normal baseline for their vision of the test item. Several factors explain the emergence and development of early childhood during the Covid-19 pandemic, including gender, parental age, child age, parenting style, parental education level, number of siblings, and sources of information on child development. was affected by Parents are encouraged to provide insight into their child's nutritional needs and development so that their nutritional needs are met and age-appropriate development is possible. It not only increases motivation to be more active in stimulating, training and developing a child's psychomotor skills

Abstract

The Covid-19 vaccination program among the public raises various perceptions, both negative perceptions and positive perceptions, this affects community participation in participating in the Covid-19 vaccination which is supported by several factors such as gender, education, age, occupation, knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccine, cultural beliefs and vaccine history. This research aim to analyzed the correlation between public perception and participation for Covid-19 vaccination in Tanggulkundung Village, Besuki Sub-District, Tulungagung District. The design of this research used the correlation method with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this resrarch were 800 respondents with a sample of 89 community respondents in Tanggulkundung Village, Besuki, Tulungagung. The sampling technique used Purposive Random Sampling. Collecting data on the independent variable of public perception and the dependent variable on Covid-19 vaccination participation used a questionnaire. The results showed that most respondents (69.7%) had a positive perception and almost all respondents (94.4%) had a positive Covid-19 vaccination participation rate. The results of the statistical test of rho Spearman rank obtained p-value 0.002 (α<0.05), then H1 accepted with r = 0.324. The strength of this correlation is due to the intercorrelation between variables which are influenced by several factors, one of which is knowledge, so that additional information is needed from the Covid-19 vaccine to increase public knowledge so that it creates a positive perception. It is also recommended that the public can wisely digest the contents of any information circulating about the Covid-19 vaccine, it is hoped that the entire community can have the same perception and can increase participation in the Covid-19 vaccination.

Abstract

Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) merupakan salah satu usaha kesehatan  yang dilaksanakan oleh puskesmas dan usaha kesehatan masyarakat dengan anak didik serta lingkungan sekolah sebagai sasaran utama. Program UKS dilaksanakan pada semua jenis dan jenjang pendidikan, termasuk sekolah menengah kejuruan. Siswa yang mengalami cedera/sakit biasanya akan di bawa ke UKS untuk diberikan penanganan pertama atas sakit yang dideritanya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengetahuan siswa-siswi kelas XI tentang Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS). Desain penelitian menggunakan teknik deskriptif, dengan populasi sebanyak 40 responden dan sampel 40 responden serta pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik “total sampling”. Variabel penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan variabel tunggal yaitu pengetahuan siswa-siswi kelas XI tentang Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) dengan instrument berupa kuesioner kemudian data dianalisa dengan rumus persentase dan diinterpretasikan secara kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa hampir seluruh responden yaitu 32 responden (80%) memiliki pengetahuan baik dan sebagian kecil responden yaitu 8 responden (20%) memiliki pengetahuan cukup. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu jenis kelamin, sumber informasi dan pengalaman. Diharapkan lebih meningkatkan pelaksanaan UKS dengan terus melaksanakan program UKS misalnya dengan rutin penyuluhan kesehatan maupun cek kesehatan pada siswa-siswi.

Abstract

The use of gadgets in technological development is widely used, especially by children because they have interesting features. Excessive use of gadgets can have a negative impact on children's development and thinking patterns. Efforts can be made to increase parents' knowledge and participation in controlling children's gadget use. The research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and the role of the family in using gadgets in children aged 6-8 years. Correlation research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population is 120 respondents, the sample is 26 parents who have children aged 6-8 years. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis with Spearman Rank. The results of research on family knowledge about gadgets showed that almost all respondents (88.5%), namely 23 respondents had a good level of knowledge, while the majority of respondents (61.5%) namely 16 people had a good role with a p-value of 0.019 at the level of error < 0.05 means there is a relationship between knowledge and the role of the family in using gadgets in children aged 6-8 years. The direction of the strength of the relationship is positive in the sufficient category (r = 0.457) meaning that the better the parents' knowledge regarding gadgets, the better the role of the family. in using gadgets to be good. Increasing knowledge is accompanied by the role of parents through educating health workers regarding monitoring the use of gadgets so that it can influence children's development for the better. It is recommended for parents to control and manage the maximum time their children use gadget
