Abstract

Abstrak Model stresor tantangan-hambatan merupakan upaya untuk mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan bagaimana hubungan antara stres dan hasil-hasil yang diharapkan dapat digunakan di tempat kerja. Model ini menyatakan bahwa penyebab stres di tempat kerja harus dibagi menjadi dua kategori berbeda, yaitu stresor tantangan dan stresor hambatan. Makalah ini bertujuan menghasilkan tinjauan kritis terhadap kerangka teoritis multipel pada model stresor tantangan-hambatan berbasis pendekatan sumberdaya dan pendekatan penilaian. Teori konservasi sumberdaya digunakan dalam pendekatan sumberdaya dan teori transaksional digunakan dalam pendekatan penilaian. Dari pendekatan sumber daya, penilaian mungkin tidak terlalu menjadi masalah jika masuk akal untuk mengasumsikan bahwa sebagian besar karyawan menilai tuntutan pekerjaan sebagai pekerjaan yang menantang dan kelebihan beban kerja sebagai hambatan. Dari pendekatan penilaian, masalah yang menyulitkan adalah bahwa penekanan pada penilaian akan memberikan beberapa informasi yang bermanfaat, tetapi terbatas pada generalisasi dan utilitas praktis dari temuan tersebut. Kata kunci: stresor tantangan, stresor hambatan, kerangka teoritis multipel Abstract The challenge-hindrance stressor model was an attempt to identify and explain how the relationship between stress and desired outcomes could be used in the workplace. This model stated that the causes of workplace stress should be divided into two different categories, namely challenge stressors and hindrance stressors. This paper aimed to produce a critical review of multiple theoretical frameworks on the challenge-hindrance stressor model based on the resource approach and the appraisal approach. Conservation of resources theory was used in the resource approach and transactional theory was used in the appraisal approach. From a resource approach, appraisals may not matter much if it is reasonable to assume that most employees rate job demands as challenging and work overload as an obstacle. From an appraisal approach, a complicating problem is that an emphasis on appraisal will provide some useful information, but is limited in the generalizability and practical utility of the findings. Abstract

There are three widely recognized perspectives on the organizations. They are resource dependence, efficiency, and population perspectives. The purpose of this paper is to explain the history of transaction cost theory, the theory of the firm, the nature of the firm, the transaction cost economics, and the critiques for this theory. Articles in leading journals listed in EBSCO, Emerald, JSTOR, ProQuest, and ScienceDirect databases were chosen. A conceptual and relational analysis was conducted to fulfill the purpose of this paper. Results show that an acceptable theory of the firm should possess the capability to elucidate not just the reasons for the existence of firms in a market economy, but also other aspects. At the very least, it should have the capacity to clearly define and articulate the limits of a firm’s activities, including what tasks are performed internally and what tasks are outsourced or delegated to others, as well as how these activities are structured and how the firm achieves growth and success. While profit-oriented organizations have long recognized the numerous advantages of inter-organizational collaboration, non-profit organizations are now beginning to understand some of these benefits, including cost savings through shared administrative expenses, enhanced value propositions, increased efficiency, strengthened programs, utilization of compatible skills and abilities, and improved leadership skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance with work engagement as a mediating variable at PT. Rimba Hutani Mas. The research applies a quantitative explanatory approach with a survey method involving 80 employees as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results reveal that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on both work engagement and employee performance. Furthermore, work engagement also demonstrates a positive and significant influence on employee performance and partially mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. These findings indicate that inspirational, intellectual, and individualized leadership behaviors enhance employees’ enthusiasm, dedication, and absorption at work, which in turn lead to higher performance outcomes. The study contributes theoretically by reinforcing the transformational leadership model as an effective driver of employee engagement and performance within the forestry industry context. Practically, the results suggest that PT. Rimba Hutani Mas should strengthen leadership practices that emphasize vision, motivation, and personal attention to foster a more engaged and productive workforce.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan manajemen keuangan rumah tangga bagi ibu-ibu PKK di Kelurahan Olak Kemang sebagai salah satu upaya memperkuat ketahanan ekonomi keluarga. Permasalahan yang dihadapi sebagian besar rumah tangga adalah rendahnya pencatatan arus kas, kurangnya perencanaan anggaran, serta lemahnya pengelolaan hutang dan tabungan sehingga berdampak pada kestabilan ekonomi keluarga. Melalui metode pelatihan interaktif, peserta diberikan materi tentang konsep dasar manajemen keuangan, penyusunan anggaran rumah tangga, strategi menabung, serta pengendalian pengeluaran sesuai prioritas kebutuhan. Kegiatan ini juga dilengkapi dengan praktik langsung pencatatan sederhana menggunakan format buku kas rumah tangga agar lebih mudah diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman ibu-ibu PKK terkait pengelolaan keuangan secara bijak, munculnya kesadaran pentingnya disiplin dalam mencatat pengeluaran, serta kemampuan menyusun rencana keuangan keluarga secara lebih terarah. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini diharapkan mampu mendorong kemandirian ekonomi keluarga, mengurangi kerentanan terhadap masalah finansial, serta membentuk pondasi ketahanan ekonomi keluarga yang lebih tangguh di tengah dinamika sosial ekonomi masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Quality of Work Life as a quasi moderator in the effect of transformational leadership on employees’ Organizational Citizenship Behavior at PT Jambi Ekspres Televisi. This topic is important because organizational citizenship behavior is not always formed solely through leadership style, but is also influenced by the quality of work life perceived by employees. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 employees of PT Jambi Ekspres Televisi using a saturated sampling technique. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS. The results show that transformational leadership has a positive but insignificant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. In contrast, Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Furthermore, the interaction between transformational leadership and Quality of Work Life significantly affects Organizational Citizenship Behavior. These findings indicate that Quality of Work Life does not only function as an independent variable but also strengthens the effect of transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, Quality of Work Life can be categorized as a quasi-moderating variable. This study confirms that improving Organizational Citizenship Behavior in the broadcasting media industry requires strengthening the quality of work life to support the effectiveness of transformational leadership

Abstract

Digital literacy has become an essential competency for university students in the digital economy era. This study aims to examine the role of digital literacy in developing the entrepreneurial mindset of Indonesian Language and Literature Education students. The study employed a literature review approach by analyzing scholarly journals, research articles, and other relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that digital literacy contributes to enhancing students’ entrepreneurial interest, creativity, innovation, adaptability, and readiness to engage in entrepreneurial activities. It also supports the development of entrepreneurial characteristics, including self-confidence, problem-solving skills, and risk-taking ability. Furthermore, students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education have various entrepreneurial opportunities in the digital economy, such as content creation, copywriting, editing services, online tutoring, and social media management. Digital platforms also facilitate business promotion, communication, and marketing. Therefore, strengthening digital literacy is essential for fostering entrepreneurial mindsets and preparing students to become creative, adaptive, and competitive individuals in the digital economy era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dukungan organisasi yang dipersepsikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai pada BPKAD Kabupaten Merangin dengan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 78 pegawai sebagai sampel penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan organisasi yang dipersepsikan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja. Selain itu, keseimbangan kehidupan kerja juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja serta mampu memediasi hubungan antara dukungan organisasi yang dipersepsikan dan kepuasan kerja. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik dukungan organisasi dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja pegawai, maka semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan.
