Abstract

In the current era of Big Data, getting data is no longer a difficult thing because they can access easily it via the internet, which is open access. A large amount of data can cause many problems in the data, such as data that deviates too far from the average (outliers). The method used to handle outlier data is DBSCAN which is density based clustering. The DBSCAN can be applied in various fields, one of which is the social sector, namely the participation of the JKN BPJS Health in West Nusa Tenggara. This study sees the distribution of BPJS Health participation groups, and to detect outliers so that objects with noise are not included in the cluster. The results of the study using the DBSCAN algorithm show that the optimal epsilon value is between 0.37 points by observing the knee of a curve. and MinPts 3, with the highest silhouette value of 0.2763. The highest JKN BPJS participants are in cluster 1 with 5 sub-districts, the second highest cluster is cluster 3 with 5 sub-districts, while the lowest cluster is cluster 2 with 93 sub-districts. The 13 sub-districts are not included in any group because they are noise data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan resiliensi dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa SMAN 1 Long Ikis. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu variabel terikat yaitu motivasi belajar dan variabel bebas yaitu resiliensi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode skala. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 1 Long Ikis dengan jumlah sampel 89 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara resiliensi dengan motivasi belajar siswa yaitu dengan nilai koefisien korelasi product moment sebesar 0,611 dengan signifikansi 0,000.

Abstract

Complementary medicine is a type of treatment that can be used as an option by the community in the midst of the existence of conventional medicine, but in fact there are still many people who do not really know and experience complementary medicine in the firsthand. The purpose of this community service is to provide an introduction, understanding, and experience to the people of Wonosari Village regarding complementary therapies, especially acupuncture as way to improve health status. This community service consists of four activities: education on various complementary therapies, introduction and administration of acupuncture therapy, health checks and treatment education, and also education and mental health examinations. Based on the results of the evaluation, all participants rated this service activity were very useful, the participants became more familiar with the types of complementary therapies, especially being able to feel the changes after getting acupuncture therapy directly. Participants were also very happy and greatly helped by the existence of health checks and medical education as well as mental health as part of the supporting activities in this community service activity.

Abstract

Candlenut is an intriguing plant, especially for its activities as a hair strengthener and its antibacterial properties. Various techniques can be employed to obtain candlenut oil, one of which is the roasting method. This method is cost-effective and easy to perform. However, there is currently no information on the phytochemical composition of candlenut oil produced using the roasting method. The aim of this research is to identify the groups of chemical compounds present in candlenut oil and to characterize candlenut oil. The research methodology for screening the phytochemicals in candlenut oil includes testing for alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids/terpenoids, tannins, phenols, and saponins. Characterization of candlenut oil includes organoleptic tests, water content analysis, acid value determination, saponification value determination, and density testing. The phytochemical screening results indicate that candlenut oil contains alkaloids, flavonoids, and steroids. The characterization results for candlenut oil reveal that it has a yellow color, smooth texture, and a distinctive candlenut oil scent. The water content is 0.01%, the acid value is 5%, the saponification value is 184.1825 mg KOH/g, and the density is 1.03 g/mL. This result shows that the obtained candlenut oil meets the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for oil. Keywords: Candlenut, Phytochemical screening, Characterization Abstrak Kemiri merupakan tanaman yang menarik, khususnya aktivitasnya sebagai penguat rambut serta aktivitas antibakterinya. Berbagai teknik dapat dilakukan untuk mendapatkan minyak biji kemiri, salah satunya dengan metode sangrai. Metode ini merupakan metode yang murah dan mudah dilakukan. Namun belum ada informasi fitokimia terhadap minyak kemiri yang dihasilkan dengan metode sangrai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui golongan senyawa kimia yang terkandung pada minyak biji kemiri dan mengkarakterisasi minyak biji kemiri. Metode penelitian skrining fitokimia minyak biji kemiri meliputi alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid/ terpenoid, tannin, fenol, dan saponin. Karakterisasi minyak biji kemiri meliputi uji organoleptik, uji kadar air, uji bilangan asam, uji bilangan penyabunan, dan uji massa jenis. Hasil skrining fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa minyak biji kemiri mengandung golongan senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid, dan steroid. Hasil yang diperoleh dari karakterisasi minyak biji kemiri yaitu dari organoleptik minyak biji kemiri berwarna kuning, tekstur licin dan berbau khas minyak kemiri, kadar air 0,01%; bilangan asam 5%; bilangan penyabunan 184,1825 mg KOH/ g; massa jenis 1,03 g/ mL. Hasil ini memperlihatkan bahwa minyak biji kemiri yang diperoleh telah sesuai dengan standar SNI minyak. Kata Kunci: Kemiri, Skrining Fitokimia, Karakterisasi

Abstract

Avocado fruit (Persea americana Mill.) has activity as an antioxidant. This activity is strongly influenced by the metabolites contained in avocados. However, the formation of these active metabolites is greatly influenced by the level of fruit ripening. To the best of our knowledge there have been no scientific reports regarding the antioxidant activity of avocados with different levels of ripeness. So researchers want to know antioxidant activity based on differences in avocado ripeness levels. The avocados observed were unripe, tree-ripened and ripe avocados. Determination of antioxidant activity was carried out using the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) method with a UV-Vis spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 516 nm. The antioxidant activity results obtained were in the form of an IC50 (inhibition concentration) value for raw avocados of 39.83 ppm, tree ripe avocados of 30.29 ppm, and peram ripe avocados of 28.60 ppm. All three are classified as very strong antioxidants, with the best antioxidant activity in ripe avocados. This shows that differences in fruit ripeness levels affect their antioxidant activity. Keywords: Avocado, Antioxidant, DPPH Abstrak Buah alpukat (Persea americana Mill.) memiliki aktivitas sebagai antioksidan. Aktivitas ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh metabolit yang terkandung pada buah alpukat. Namun demikian pembentukan metabolit-metabolit aktif ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pematangan buah. Sepanjang pengetahuan kami belum ada laporan ilmiah mengenai aktivitas antioksidan buah alpukat dengan tingkat kematangan yang berbeda. Sehingga peneliti ingin mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan berdasarkan perbedaan tingkat kematangan buah alpukat. Buah alpukat yang diamati adalah buah alpukat mentah, matang pohon, dan matang peram. Penentuan aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) dengan spektrofotometer UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 516 nm. Hasil aktivitas antioksidan yang diperoleh berupa nilai IC50 (inhibition concentration) dari buah alpukat mentah sebesar 39,83 ppm, alpukat matang pohon sebesar 30,29 ppm, dan alpukat matang peram sebesar 28,60 ppm. Ketiganya tergolong sebagai antioksidan yang sangat kuat, dengan aktivitas antioksidan terbaik pada alpukat matang peram. Hal ini memperlihatkan bahwa perbedaan tingkat kematangan buah mempengaruhi aktivitas antioksidannya. Kata Kunci: Alpukat, Antioksidan, DPPH

Abstract

Maintaining health is an obligation and an important investment in order to live a productive and meaningful life. To maintaining and improving health, various health methods and products have attracted public attention. One product that is getting more attention is rubbing oil. The aim of this activity is to provide knowledge and skills to the community of Lok Bahu Region in producing rubbing oil independently. An educational approach is used to explain the ingredients, manufacturing process, and benefits of using the rubbing oil. The results of this service activity show a significant increase in public knowledge about the health benefits of using rubbing oil. Apart from that, service participants also demonstrated increased skills in making rubbing oil which can be implemented independently in the household environment. Evaluation of this activity shows that this program has succeeded in increasing public awareness of the use of natural ingredients for health.

Abstract

The Jatiarum Daswisma group, Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Province, is one vehicle used as a place to carry out KKN activities for Mulawarman University Pharmacy students since 2021, one of the work programs is the use of TOGA (Family Medicinal Plants). Because of this joint activity program, the community has succeeded in cultivating the TOGA. However, it is necessary to carry out a sustainable program so that it can increase the productivity of partner community groups through training and assistance in the development of health products based on local wisdom towards the down streaming and commercialization of products with economic value. The aim of this service program is to increase the knowledge of partner communities about the use of TOGA into economically valuable health products, improve community skills in production through training in health product development. Because of this service, the community carried out TOGA plant care activities and used the plants as herbal tea, which was carried out by women in the Rawamakmur sub-district. By holding this activity, people, especially stay-at-home parent, will know the benefits of the TOGA plant as herbal tea.

Abstract

Sawo manila (Manilkara kauki L.)  dan Jarak Pagar (Jatropha curcas L.) merupakan beberapa tanaman yang tumbuh di Indonesia, kedua jenis tanaman tersebut berpotensi sebagai antibakteri Escherichia coli. Senyawa bioaktif yang terdapat pada sari buah sawo adalah senyawa tanin, flavonoid dan saponin. Sedangkan jarak pagar merupakan tumbuhan famili Euphorbiaceae dan kandungan senyawa bioaktifnya adalah senyawa flavonoid, tanin dan saponin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji aktivitas sediaan sirup dari kombinasi buah sawo dan jarak pagar pada bakteri Escherichia coli penyebab diare. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan metode difusi. Formulasi sirup sawo manila dan jarak pagar yang digunakan yaitu 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% dengan 4 kali pengulangan. Hasil analisis fitokimia kandungan ekstrak buah sawo (Manilkara zapota L.) dan getah jarak (Jatropa curcas L.) mengandung senyawa kimia saponin, tannin, flavonoid dan alkaloid. Potensi antibakteri formula sirup dari kedua ekstrak buah sawo (Manilkara zapota L.) dan getah jarak (Jatropa curcas L.) termasuk golongan lemah terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli.

Abstract

Free radicals are known as an atom that does not have an electron pair and is unstable and only has one electron. Free radicals will act quickly to find their electron pairs. Jasmine leaves are rich in polyphenol antioxidants. Apart from jasmine, one type of plant that is suspected of being an antioxidant is moringa (Moringa oleifera, Lamk). Moringa plant has been known for centuries as a multipurpose plant full of nutrients and medicinal properties. Moringa leaves contain primary metabolites such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, various minerals, vitamins and amino acids. Rosella flowers contain many secondary metabolites, including polyphenols and falvonoids. The purpose of this study was to determine the highest antioxidant activity in tea from several tea brands (moringa leaf tea, rosella flower tea and jasmine leaf tea) using the DPPH method with tea brewing standards in accordance with those regulated in SNI 01-1902-1995 with levels constant temperature. Quantitative test results showed that the IC50 value of Rosella flower tea was 148 ppm (moderate antioxidant), the IC50 value of jasmine tea was 80 ppm (strong antioxidant) and the IC50 value of Moringa leaf tea was 88 ppm (strong antioxidant). Keywords: Antioxidant, Rosella flower, Moringa leaves, jasmine, Tea Abstrak Radikal bebas dikenal sebagai suatu atom yang tidak memiliki pasangan elektron dan tidak stabil serta hanya memiliki satu elektron. Radikal bebas akan cepat beraksi untuk mencari pasangan elektronnya. Daun melati kaya akan antioksidan polifenol. Selain tanaman melati, salah satu jenis tumbuhan yang diduga sebagai antioksidan adalah kelor (Moringa oleifera, Lamk). Tanaman kelor telah dikenal selama berabad-abad sebagai tanaman multiguna padat nutrisi dan berkhasiat obat. Daun kelor mengandung metabolit primer seperti protein, lemak, karbohidrat, berbagai mineral, vitamin dan asam amino. Bunga Rosella banyak mengadung senyawa metabolit sekunder antara lain polifenol dan falvonoid. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan tertinggi pada teh dari beberapa merk dagang teh (teh daun kelor, teh bunga rosella dan teh daun melati) menggunakan metode DPPH dengan standar penyeduhan teh sesuai dengan yang diatur dalam SNI 01-1902-1995 dengan tingkatan suhu yang konstan. Hasil uji kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa nilai IC50 teh bunga Rosella 148 ppm (antioksidan sedang), nilai IC50 teh melati 80 ppm (antioksidan kuat) dan nilai IC50 teh daun kelor 88 ppm (antioksidan kuat). Abstract

Kemiri merupakan tanaman yang menarik, khususnya sebagai penguat rambut serta aktivitas antibakterinya. Berbagai teknik dapat dilakukan untuk mendapatkan minyak biji kemiri, salah satunya dengan metode sangrai. Metode ini merupakan metode yang murah dan mudah dilakukan. Namun belum ada informasi mengenai aktivitas antibakteri minyak biji kemiri yang diproses menggunakan metode sangrai. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri minyak biji kemiri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus dan Eschericia coli. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode difusi sumuran, lalu diamati dan diukur zona hambat yang terbentuk disekeliling lubang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan biji kemiri memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus yang termasuk kedalam kategori sedang dan tidak memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Eschericia coli.
