Abstract

Burnout is something that must be considered from crew members who have a high workload and maintain their performance. This study aims to analyze the burnout conditions of the crew of the Mutawa 303 while working on board the ship and find solutions so that performance can still be optimized. This research is a qualitative research that examines the conditions that occur in the field from information obtained based on interviews with the captain and crew to identify respondents' perceptions of workload conditions and work-life balance when sailing. The results showed that the burnout experienced by the crew of the Mutawa 303 was in the high category, but the crew tried to work professionally and maintain work-life conditions. balance by regularly communicating through meedia social with family and avoiding role conflicts when sailing which is prone to occur when the crew experiences burnout.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang mendorong penggunaan media komunikasi digital dalam pelayaran serta dampak penggunaannya pada beberapa aspek dalam bidang pelayaran. Dalam penelitian tentang peran media komunikasi digital dalam pelayaran, analisis kualitatif dapat membantu memahami bagaimana media tersebut digunakan dan dirasakan oleh awak kapal dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya dari Kapal Mutawa 303 yang dijadikan objek pada penelitian ini. Dengan memahami perspektif kapten dan awak kapal, hasil penelitian dapat memberikan masukan yang berguna dalam perbaikan dan pengembangan media digital dalam pelayaran. Hasi penelitian menemukan bahwa Semua jenis media komunikasi digital ini membantu meningkatkan efisiensi dan keselamatan dalam pelayaran modern. Namun, perlu diingat bahwa penggunaan media komunikasi digital harus dilakukan dengan hati-hati dan mematuhi aturan dan regulasi yang berlaku untuk memastikan keselamatan seluruh awak kapal dan kargo yang dibawa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari Program Pengabdian Masyarakat (PKM) yang sesuai dengan mengasah mental pemuda/pemudi ke arah yang lebih positif di Kelurahan Karunrung, Kota Makassar yang dikaitkan dengan pelayaran adalah untuk membantu meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan pemuda/pemudi dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan persaingan di era globalisasi yang semakin kompleks. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Kantor Kelurahan Karunrung, Kota Makassar pada hari jumat, 19 maret tahun 2021 dengan penyuluhan. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan. menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan kewirausahaan, kepemimpinan, kegiatan sosial, pembinaan karakter, dan konseling motivasi yang dikaitkan dengan pelayaran adalah metode yang tepat untuk mengasah mental pemuda/pemudi ke arah yang lebih positif di Kelurahan Karunrung, Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Pelayaran antar negara yang sangat berjarak dihitung dari pulau terluar suatu Negara. Near-coastal voyage. Kapal muntawu, kontigensi mencoba menggabungkan antara personalitas pemimpin kompleksitas situasi, efektivitas, komunikasi berpengaruh, masalah kepemimpinan sangat efektif. Berkomunikasi melakukan cara efektivitas kapal muntawa. Metode Penelitian, digunakan Deskriptif Kualitatif menjelaskan fenomena, situasi, kelompok. Lokasi, kapal muntawa. 303. Waktu penelitian sejak juni sampai dengan akhir 2023. Popuasi seluruh awak kapal Sebanyak 16 orang sekaligus sebagai sampel. Hasil dan pembahasan. kepemimpinan kapal muntawa. sangat efektif menjalankan komunikasi sesuai tugasnya pada jabatan efek yang terjadi setelah penerima pesan dari sumber seperti perubahan sikap secara cermat sesuai karakteristik komunikasi keadaan dilingkungan berbicara secara efektif. Kesimpulan, kepemimpinan kapal muntawu sangat efektif berkomunikasi sesuai rute, lingkungan pelayaran kapal muntawu. 303. Kata Kunci: kepemimpinan, efektifitas, komunikasi.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of educational background and work experience on the work ethic of PT employees. Sulawesi Mandiri Pratama both partially and simultaneously. This research is causal associative research using quantitative research. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the following conclusions can be drawn are there is a positive and significant influence between educational background variables on employee work ethic at PT. Sulawesi Mandiri Pratama; There is a positive and significant influence between the work experience variable on the work ethic of employees at PT. Abstract

In accordance with the awareness of the importance of human factors and the need to improve ship operational management in preventing ship, human, cargo and property accidents and preventing pollution of the marine environment, IMO issued a regulation on ship safety management marine environment protection known as the International Safety Management (ISM Code) which was also consolidated in the SOLAS convention. Abstract

Ships are a means of sea transportation that use diesel engines as the main driving force. This is because diesel engines are easier to maintain and faster to operate. Considering this, diesel engines need special attention so that they are always ready to use and work well to support activities on board. The aim of this research is to determine the causal factors and what efforts must be made to overcome the obstruction of heat absorption in the lubricating oil of the main engine on the MT.AnnaBella ship. The research results show that the cause of the lack of oil cooler lubrication absorption on the main engine at MT.AnnaBella is due to lack of maintenance on the lubrication system components, namely dirty Lo cooler sea water pipes, dirty sea chase filters, resulting in decreased sea water pump suction, and dirty impellers. pump the sea water pump so that the sea water pump pressure decreases. Efforts to overcome the obstruction of heat absorption in the lubricating oil of the main engine on the MT AnnaBella include paying attention to the cleanliness of the sea water pipes in the lo cooler. By spraying compressed air and using rattan, always pay attention to the cleanliness of the sea water filter and regularly check the sea water pump impeller for dirt.

Abstract

Sistem perawatan mesin kapal penangkap ikan sangatlah penting untuk menjaga kinerja dan keandalan mesin dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Sosialisasi dilakukan di Bonto Bahari. Dalam melakukan sosialisasi tentang sistem perawatan mesin kapal penangkap ikan, penting untuk memastikan bahwa informasi tersebut mudah dipahami dan diingat oleh para awak kapal. Selain itu, pelatihan rutin dan pembaruan informasi perawatan mesin harus dilakukan untuk memastikan bahwa mesin kapal penangkap ikan selalu dalam kondisi prima.

Abstract

The purpose of community service is to provide solutions to the waste management problems faced by the people on the island. Through community service, it is expected to be able to provide education and training to the public in environmentally friendly waste management and to provide an alternative for effective and safe waste handling through the use of incinerators. With this urgency, incineration of waste using plate material in the form of drums or iron plates (incinerator) can be an effective alternative in overcoming the problem of waste handling and minimizing the negative impact on the environment and public health.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh kompetensi dan kesesuaian peran terhadap kinerja awak kapal MV Mutawa.103, dengan komitmen kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Industri pelayaran memainkan peran penting dalam ekonomi global, di mana kinerja awak kapal menjadi faktor krusial. Kinerja awak kapal dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi, yang mencakup pengetahuan teknis dan keterampilan praktis, serta kesesuaian peran, yaitu kecocokan antara tugas dan kemampuan individu. Komitmen kerja dianggap sebagai faktor mediasi yang dapat memperkuat hubungan antara kompetensi, kesesuaian peran, dan kinerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan sampel 31 awak kapal MV Mutawa.103. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja awak kapal MV. Mutawa.103, di mana kemampuan, keterampilan, dan pengetahuan para awak memainkan peran kunci dalam efektivitas dan efisiensi tugas di atas kapal. Sebaliknya, kesesuaian peran tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan secara individual, menandakan bahwa meskipun penting, faktor lain seperti kompetensi atau lingkungan kerja lebih dominan dalam memengaruhi kinerja. Namun, secara simultan, kompetensi dan kesesuaian peran bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja awak kapal, menegaskan bahwa keduanya saling melengkapi dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap keberhasilan operasional kapal.
