Abstract

Toko Sembako Mulia has adopted a web-based system to track the movement of inventory, including incoming and outgoing goods. Despite this, reports on sales, purchases, and stock-taking are still recorded manually, which increases the risk of data inconsistencies—especially when managing expired items. To overcome this challenge, an inventory management system was developed using the First Expired First Out (FEFO) strategy, the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, and design modeling with Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system was implemented using the CodeIgniter framework, PHP as the programming language, and MySQL for database management. The resulting system provides features for managing stock reports, purchase and sales transactions, as well as employee and supplier information

Abstract

Areas such as urban areas have relatively low water absorption. This is due to the imbalance between the pace of development and the availability of green open space. This condition eventually causes problems such as easy flooding, the difficulty for the community to obtain groundwater reserves, and the biological balance that is increasingly difficult to realize. Referring to these conditions, the solution that the author offers is to organize environmental maintenance training with the biopore concept for students. The target of this training is 30 participants from Mercu Buana University. The methods used in this training are through lectures, interactive discussions, and conducting simulations (practice). These results indicate that the students are very enthusiastic about participating in this training and are serious about practicing biopore making activities. In training, students were also invited to practice making biopore in the community, precisely at RT 001 and RT 003 RW 001, Meruya Selatan, Kembangan District, West Jakarta. The benefits that can be felt from making biopore include preventing flooding, being a dumping ground for organic waste, fertilizing plants, and improving air quality. After participating in this program, students are expected to become agents of change in their respective environments. In addition, through this activity, it is hoped that students can become examples and movers in environmental care in their respective regions.

Abstract

Communication is an integral part of the daily functioning of any organization. However, in practice, communication does not always run smoothly. There are communication barriers within organizations that can hinder the creation of effective communication. The Leadership and Managerial Training Center (Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Kepemimpinan dan Manajerial/Pusdiklat KM) is a unit tasked with organizing training in leadership and managerial fields. In leadership and managerial competencies, communication, both interpersonal and organizational, plays a crucial role. This study examines how Pusdiklat KM manages communication within its organization and explores the communication barriers that occur. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with key informants, followed by triangulation through confirmation or cross-checking with relevant parties. The data were then analyzed using Weber's Bureaucracy Theory and Elton Mayo's Human Relations Theory, linked to communication barriers as mentioned by DeVito and Chruden and Sherman. The research findings indicate that internal communication management at Pusdiklat KM is not in the form of a structured communication management but rather focuses on utilizing all available communication channels and methods to create mutual understanding. Pusdiklat KM, which has an organizational structure with tasks and functions that do not interrelate, faces challenges in its internal communication. Technical, human, and semantic communication barriers were identified, including barriers due to communication media, differences in personality, lack of emotional closeness, high workload, and varying leadership competencies.

Abstract

Erigo’s participation in New York Fashion Week was a strategic move to enhance the international profile of Indonesian fashion products. The event attracted significant attention on social media, particularly Instagram, and leveraged Indonesian consumers’ interest in internationally associated products. A sense of pride, along with increased brand awareness and positive domestic brand perception, emerged from Erigo’s participation. Erigo successfully demonstrated that an active presence on social media—especially Instagram—is essential for increasing brand awareness, enhancing customer engagement, and boosting sales. Using a qualitative case study method involving observation, interviews, and documentation, this research aims to analyze Erigo’s marketing strategies in improving brand awareness in Indonesia. The findings indicate that Erigo implemented consistent, integrated, and audience-focused communication by combining Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategies with the AISAS approach.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of tourism communication concepts based on immersive storytelling in the preservation of cultural identity in Penglipuran Tourism Village, Bali. The approach used in this research is qualitative, employing a literature review method. Data were collected from various relevant scientific literature, books, and journal articles, then analyzed using content analysis and thematic analysis techniques through a process of theoretical synthesis. The results show that the transformation of tourism communication has shifted from an informative model toward a narrative and experiential communication model grounded in digital technology. AI-based immersive storytelling enables tourists to experience cultural narratives in a more in-depth, interactive, and contextual manner without directly disturbing sacred cultural practices. This technology also has the potential to reduce the pressure of mass tourism through educational virtual experiences. However, risks remain, including cultural simplification, algorithmic bias, and the dominance of market logic, which may erode the authentic meaning of local culture. This study concludes that AI-based immersive storytelling holds significant potential for preserving cultural identity when developed in an ethical and participatory manner, grounded in kearifan lokal (local wisdom). The implications of this study underscore the importance of a digital ethics-based tourism communication model that positions local communities as the primary agents in the production of cultural narratives, in order to sustain cultural continuity and sovereignty in the digital era

Abstract

Background: Private senior high schools in Indonesia face intensifying competition driven by digital transformation, educational globalization, and rising stakeholder expectations. In this context, sustainable competitive advantage can no longer be built solely on physical resources but must be grounded in intangible strategic assets that are valuable, rare, inimitable, and non-substitutable. Objective: This study analyzes the role of organizational values and culture in building sustainable competitive advantage in private senior high schools. Methods: The research employs a qualitative approach with a multiple-case study design involving two leading private high schools in Jakarta. Data were collected through in-depth interviews (six informants from each school), field observation, and document analysis, and validated using triangulation techniques. Results: The findings reveal that both private high schools develop strong organizational values as the foundation of their strategic management practices, which are subsequently implemented through structured student development programs. Despite differences in cultural orientation—one emphasizing discipline and academic excellence and the other focusing on holistic education and character development—both schools successfully translate their values into distinctive programs that enhance student outcomes and institutional reputation. Furthermore, continuous evaluation mechanisms and experiential learning activities play a significant role in sustaining program effectiveness. Conclusion: This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence that organizational culture and value-based strategies function as critical intangible resources that drive sustainable competitive advantage in educational institutions. The findings also offer practical implications for school leaders in designing culturally grounded strategies to enhance school competitiveness.
