Abstract

The quality of teaching and learning is a primary concern in the global higher education system, including in Indonesia This article highlights the efforts of Islamic religious higher education institutions in ensuring their quality meets established standards Quality assurance in education, as mandated by existing regulations, involves integrated efforts from various parties to enhance the nation's intelligence through education. However, improving the quality of higher education in Indonesia is still a challenge, especially in terms of accreditation results that show most universities are in criteria B and C. This article also discusses strategies and factors that encourage the improvement of higher education quality, focusing on strategies implemented by the Directorate of Islamic Higher Education. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of content and descriptive analysis support propositions and ideas in improving the quality of higher education in Indonesia. The strategies discussed include accreditation assistance and training in the preparation of internal quality assurance documents, as well as the importance of developing strategic plans and renop documents together. Effective implementation of the Renop relies on the clarity and accuracy of the Renstra, emphasizing the importance of both being developed on an ongoing basis. Through coordinated cooperation and internal efforts, it is hoped that universities can continue to improve their quality to support the development of quality education in Indonesia.

Abstract

As technology advances, generation Z students can easily access foreign culture nowadays with the rapid flow of globalization making it easier for foreign culture to enter Indonesia. This is worrying about the development of the younger generation, especially generation Z, whose lives have been very spoiled by technology. A sense of nationalism is needed because of globalization and rapid technological progress. Civics and Pancasila education is one way to foster a sense of nationalism. The aim of this research is to determine the urgency of citizenship education courses among generation Z students in line with the rapid flow of globalization. The method used is library research (Library Research) by collecting and analyzing books and articles related to the theme. The results of this research show that citizenship education is very important for generation Z students, especially as their preparation to become the golden generation in 2045. In this increasingly complex era, understanding citizenship concepts such as rights and obligations, democracy, tolerance, pluralism, and participation in political and social life is very crucial. The various problems faced by the current generation are increasingly complex due to the massive presence of technology, for this reason the role of teachers and the urgency of citizenship education courses are very necessary which aims to shape students into humans or citizens who have a sense of nationality and love for their country.

Abstract

Implementasi kurikulum merdeka di Madrasah menempuh berbagai tantangan dan hambatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis implementasi kurikulum merdeka di madrasah tsanawiyah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru pembelajaran SKI di MTs Negeri 3 Sleman. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kurikulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran SKI di MTs Negeri 3 Sleman telah dilaksanakan pada kelas VII pada T.A 2023/2024 meskipun impelementasinya belum maksimal. Dalam proses pembelajaran SKI guru telah mengupayakan dengan baik dalam melakukan persiapan, pelaksaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Dan tantangan dan hambatan guru dalam dalam menerapkan kurikulum merdeka adalah: pertama, sebagai guru milenial saat ini harus melek teknologi sehingga mampu menciptakan proses pembelajaran SKI yang menarik perhatian siswa. Kedua, guru diberi kewajiban untuk membuat modul ajar pembelajaran SKI. Akan tetapi guru masih kebingungan terkait acuan khusus untuk membuat modul ajar. Sehingga guru harus mampu mencari materi, menyusun dengan keativitas sendiri. Ketiga, kurangnya informasi di sikurma terkait pembelajaran SKI di platform kurikulum merdeka di Kemenag. Sehingga guru masih meraba-raba terkait pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka ini khususnya pembelajaran SKI. Keempat, buku pegangan guru maupun siswa yang digunakan masih berbasis kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana kurikulum Merdeka Belajar diimplementasikan dalam pelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MIN 1 Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data terdiri dari tiga tahap, yang pertama adalah tahap reduksi data, yang melibatkan koreksi dan deskripsi hasil wawancara. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MIN 1 Yogyakarta pada kelas IV dengan subjek penelitian berfokus pada guru pelajaran Akidah Akhlak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MIN 1 Yogyakarta berperan sebagai salah satu program implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di wilayah kabupaten Sleman DIY. Salah satu metode yang diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka adalah metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek, yang dikenal dengan sebutan Problem Based Learning (PBL). Metode ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, merangsang inisiatif mereka dalam proses belajar, dan mempromosikan perkembangan hubungan antarpribadi dalam kelompok. Namun, pada pelajaran Akidah Akidah materinya masih menggunakan materi K-13, hal tersebut karena belum adanya buku kurikulum merdeka pengeluaran langsung dari Kementerian Agama. Sehingga buku kurikulum merdeka hanya terfokus pada materi-materi umum saja. Kata Kunci : Kurikulum Merdeka, Akidah Akhlak, Merdeka Belajar

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum as well as the development and evaluation carried out in higher education. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach which aims to describe the subject related to the conditions observed and data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted at Yogyakarta State University. Data from observations, interviews and document analysis can be analyzed using content analysis to identify concepts, objectives, methods and independent curriculum evaluation and develop them using relevant theories.The findings of this research are several obstacles in implementing the Merdeka curriculum at Yogyakarta State University, namely understanding the different characteristics of students due to the still inherent passive school culture, classroom conditioning in the learning process, lack of active learning in the classroom.In this research the author analyzes the forms and patterns of problems that occur in the field and develops an independent curriculum to improve existing problems based on the substance of the curriculum as a system, where the curriculum is an inseparable unit. separated between components.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang analisis implementasi kurikulum merdeka yang terdapat di madrasah ibtidaiyah khususnya pada pembelajaran fikih. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis peneltian pustaka atau yang dikenal dengan library research. Metodologi pembelajaran fikih merupakan suatu cara yang ditempuh oleh pendidik dalam menyampaikan hukum islam yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan manusia baik yang berhubungan dengan Allah maupun yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan manusia. Dalam pembelajaran tersebut dibutuhkan suatu cara untuk menyampaikan pesan-pesan kepada siswa yang nantinya akan menjadi pedoman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Model dan pendekatan dalam pembelajaran fikih saling berkaitan dan sangat berpengaruh untuk kelangsungan belajar pada peserta didik. Model apa yang digunakan, strategi apa yang dijalankan, serta pendekatan apa yang dipilih itu menentukan bagaimana hasil pembelajaran pada peserta didik dalam menguasai materi yang diajarkan. Adapun penerapan dari setiap bagian memiliki cara yang berbeda namun masih dalam tujuan yang sama yaitu supaya mereka aktif dan semangat dalam belajar serta memahami materi yang di ajarkan, diberikan dan diingatkan selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung di kelas.

Abstract

This study explores the integration model of the Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) curriculum and its implications for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in Muhammadiyah High Schools. This research is qualitative, in which observation, interviews, and documentation were used to obtain the data collection method. The key informants for this study were the director, vice principal for curriculum, teachers, and students. The results of this study showed two things. First, the integration of the MBS curriculum at Muhammadiyah High Schools took the form of institutional integration between formal, informal, and non-formal education. Second, the implications of the integration of the MBS curriculum in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) were implemented in three aspects: aspects of lesson planning (classes, time, materials, and learning resources), aspects of learning implementation (accommodating four 21st century skills, religious insight, integral personality), and evaluation aspects that balance the assessment of the three domains (cognitive, psychomotor, affective).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi problematika dan tantangan dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SDN 03 Karangrejo. Fokus utama penelitian adalah memahami sejauh mana penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI serta tantangan yang dihadapi guru dan siswa dalam proses penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melibatkan observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam dengan guru PAI, serta analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Kurikulum Merdeka menawarkan kebebasan dalam penyesuaian materi dengan kebutuhan siswa, terdapat tantangan yang signifikan seperti kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap kurikulum baru, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan resistensi terhadap perubahan metode pengajaran. Studi ini memberikan wawasan penting mengenai faktor-faktor yang menghambat implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka PAI serta menyarankan upaya peningkatan kualitas pengajaran dengan pelatihan guru dan dukungan infrastruktur yang memadai.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education Teachers (PAI) in overcoming bullying at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Genteng Banyuwangi. Bullying is a problem that often occurs in the school environment and can have a negative impact on student development, both psychologically and socially. PAI teachers have an important role in instilling moral and religious values that can prevent and overcome acts of bullying. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation with informants consisting of PAI teachers, students, and school staff. Data analysis was carried out using the interactive data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model, with the validity of the data tested through source triangulation. The results of the study show that the bullying school case at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Genteng is caused by: students' ignorance of limitations or excessive joking, misunderstandings, shortcomings, lack of education about anti-bullying, negative use of social media, and lack of supervision carried out. In overcoming bullying incidents in the school environment, Islamic religious education teachers at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Genteng provide guidance and direct students in the teachings of kindness. With various steps and strategies, including: understanding and identifying behavior first, providing activities to develop social skills, providing education about bullying and religious understanding, collaborating with parents and school staff, and enforcing discipline by providing punishment according to school policy
