Abstract

Because students were having trouble picturing the three-dimensional system of coordinates in a spatial analysis geometry course, their mathematical problem-solving abilities were still low. Educational movies that aid in visualization are essential for pupils. The study at hand used a design consisting of a pretest-posttest control group and was quasi-experimental in nature. While the control class experienced conventional teaching, the learners in the experimental group learned using three-dimensional coordinate system audiovisual media. A test of one's capacity to solve mathematical problems was used, along with observation sheets and interviews. A total of thirty-four participants made up the sample for this study, which was carried out at the University of Pattimura's Mathematics Education Study Program. Evaluation was of t-testing outcomes on mathematical problem-solving skills. The findings demonstrated that students' proficiency in solving problems with mathematics increased when they were taught to use a video about the three-dimensional coordinate system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan dua model pembelajaran untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Ambon yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share(TPS) dan model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi aritmetika sosial. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen (Experimental Research), dengan desain penelitian Posttest Only Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share (TPS) dan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the Students Team Assisted Division (STAD) type of cooperative learning model in a virtual classroom and its effect on learning outcomes of limit algebraic functions in class XI students of SMA Negeri 12 Ambon. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with experimental type Post Test Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 12 Ambon. The research sample was 31 students in class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2. The results showed that descriptively the average percentage of the implementation of learning by teachers was 67%, and (2) the average percentage of student activity in online learning was 64% and ( 3) the difference in the average value of the experimental class and the control class is 6.42. Based on the inferential statistical test with independent t sample test calculations, the Sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) = 0.031 smaller than the value which means there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. This difference shows that the use of STAD type cooperative learning in online learning has a higher contribution than conventional online learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Kairatu dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini, yaitu 3 orang dengan pertimbangan dalam mengambil subjek adalah siswa yang menjawab semua soal dan melakukan banyak kesalahan. Analisis data kualitatif terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesalahan siswa yaitu, kesalahan memahami, kesalahan transformasi soal, kesalahan keterampilan proses dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kesalahan siswa subjek pertama, yaitu kesalahan memahami soal dan kesalahan keterampilan proses untuk soal nomor 3. Kesalahan siswa subjek kedua, yaitu kesalahan keterampilan proses dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir untuk soal nomor 1 dan 2. Kesalahan siswa subjek ketiga, yaitu kesalahan memahami soal untuk soal nomor 1, 2 dan 3, kesalahan keterampilan proses untuk soal nomor 1 dan 2, serta kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir untuk soal nomor 2 dan 3

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeksripsikan profil pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan gaya kognitif yang berbeda, yaitu gaya kognitif field independent (FI) dan gaya kognitif field dependent (FD) pada materi turunan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deksriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 10 Ambon. Subjek penelitian adalah 2 siswa yang dipilih dari 30 siswa di kelas XI IPA 1 dengan pertimbangan 1 siswa sebagai subjek FI dan 1 siswa sebagai subjek FD, serta rekomendasi guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan signifikan kedua subjek nampak pada langkah merencanakan pemecahan masalah dan langkah memeriksa kembali solusi yang diperoleh. Subjek FI menyelesaikan masalah sesuai dengan rencana sehingga memperoleh jawaban yang benar dan membuat kesimpulan dengan tepat, sedangkan subjek FD tidak memperoleh jawaban akhir sehingga tidak dapat memberikan kesimpulan yang tepat.

Abstract

Penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa soal-soal matematika dengan banyak cara penyelesaian atau bertipe multiple solution methods (MSM) jarang diberikan di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk menyelidiki (1) bagaimana penilaian mahasiswa calon guru matematika terhadap soal bertipe MSM pada materi SPLDV dan apakah terdapat perbedaan antar universitas, dan (2) alasan yang melatarbelakangi penilaian tersebut. Metode penelitian ini adalah survey dengan responden merupakan mahasiswa calon guru matematika (N = 282) dari Universitas Mulawarman, Universitas Negeri Semarang, dan Universitas Pattimura. Instrumen penelitian memuat 4 butir soal dimana setiap soal diselesaikan dengan 3 cara berbeda tetapi semuanya benar: Cara A (penyelesaian diajarkan dalam SPLDV), Cara B (penyelesaian tidak diajarkan dalam materi SPLDV), cara C (penyelesaian dengan strategi heuristik, seperti menggunakan gambar, tabel, pola, atau tebakan). Setiap responden diminta memberikan skor penilaian 0-10 ke masing-masing cara A, B, dan C beserta alasannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan penilaian calon guru antar universitas terhadap penyelesaian A (p =0,058 > 0,050) dan penyelesaian B (p = 0,073 > 0,050), sedangkan untuk penilaian C terdapat perbedaan penilaian antar universitas (p = 0,016 < 0,050). Penelitian juga menemukan bahwa penilaian calon guru terhadap cara C lebih rendah daripada cara A dan B. Dengan demikian, calon guru matematika memberikan skor penilaian yang tinggi terhadap cara yang diajarkan dalam matematika dan menurunkan skor penilaian yang caranya tidak diajarkan dalam materi matematika karena disebabkan beberapa faktor, yaitu. kejelasan/kelengkapan, kesesuaian dan kebenaran, keefisienan, kekreatifan, kelogisan/kekritisan, ketelitian dan kesesuaian tingkat berpikir.

Abstract

Theaims of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of grade XI students of SMA Negeri4 Ambon in cone slice material using a cooperative learning model through CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) learning media assisted by geogebrasoftware. Students divided into small groups (3 groups) with each groups consist of 5-6 students who have varied abilities. The results showed that by using the cooperative learning model throughlearning media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction)assisted by geogebrasoftware, there was an increase in the learning outcomes of grade XI MIA students at SMA Negeri 4 Ambon

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes about circles topics in mathematics through the traditional game namely marbles. The research has been conducted using experiments method with Posttest Only Control Group Design. Students of grade eight in SMP Negeri 2 Nusalaut, Central Maluku Regency were subject, where students in class VIII1 as an experiment class and using marbles while students at class VIII2 as a conventional class. Data were collected from the essay test and it was analyzed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that the average of students learning outcomes in the class experiment is 74.43 and the average of learning outcomes of class control is 64.50. It means that the learning outcomes of students who taught by using approach the traditional game marbles increase compared with the learning outcomes of students taught by conventional approaches

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students’ learning outcome on the topic liniear programing by using Problem Based Learning. This research is conducted in 11th grade students of senior high school 1 Saparua in academic year 2019/ 2020. Total number students on experiment grup is 25. This research took 2 cycles in order to achieve passing grade by most students. Every cycle consists of two class meeting. Data collected by using essay tests on each cycle and observation sheet. Further more, data analyzed by using qualitative nd quantitative analysis. The results show that students’ achievement on cycle I which reached passing grade is 56% of total number students. Meanwhile, students’ achievement which reached passing grade on cycle II is 80% of total number of students. There can be concluded that students’ learning outcome has improved 24% through Problem Based Learning
