Abstract

The challenges of the digital era require the younger generation to possess competencies that extend beyond formal academic qualifications, particularly 21st-Century Skills rooted in digital literacy and problem-solving capabilities. Youth in PerumRegency Puteran demonstrate significant potential but still face obstacles in optimizing digital devices for productivity and applying systematic methods to resolve work or business hurdles. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to empower the youth of PerumRegency Puteran by enhancing their digital literacy and problem-solving skills to boost their competitiveness in both the job market and the entrepreneurial sector. The program implementation utilizes the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which focuses on leveraging local potential through three main phases: preparation (coordination and needs assessment), implementation (interactive training, workshops, and case study mentoring), and evaluation (measuring impact through pre-tests and post-tests). The expected outcomes of this activity include an increase in digital literacy comprehension, the adoption of critical thinking frameworks (design thinking) in problem-solving, and the formation of an independent digital youth community within the residential area.

Abstract

Vita Medika Inpatient Primary Clinic is a first-level health facility that holds great potential in providing public health services. However, conventional and unintegrated financial management remains a major obstacle in measuring profitability and operational efficiency. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to optimize the clinic's financial management through the restructuring of the recording system, training on digital-based financial report preparation, and unit cost analysis of services. The methods used include preliminary observation, focus group discussions (FGD), intensive training, and implementation assistance. The results of this activity indicate an 85% increase in administrative staff's understanding of operating financial software, the creation of a more accountable SOP for cash management, and the formulation of service tariff simulations based on a more precise unit cost calculation.

Abstract

Panjalu District is one of the regions in Ciamis Regency with significant agricultural potential. This potential has driven the growth of agricultural supply stores (kios saprotan) as key providers for farmers' needs. However, the majority of agricultural stores in this area are still managed traditionally, particularly within the aspect of Human Resource Management (HRM). The primary challenges faced include the absence of a clear division of labor, family-based employee management lacking key performance indicators, and a deficiency in customer service skills. This community service activity aims to provide training and mentoring in implementing basic HRM functions. The methods utilized include interactive lectures, case studies, and assistance in drafting a simple Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The results of this activity indicate a 75% increase in the partners' understanding regarding the importance of professionalism at work, alongside the formulation of a draft for service SOPs and an adaptive division of labor tailored for agricultural stores in Panjalu.
