The process of community empowerment in this case mental health cadres who have a role in moving the community in following counseling on mental health is very important, considering that in the community there are many sources that can cause families to experience mental health risks or disorders in addition to maintaining their health conditions. Mental health cadres are expected to be able to provide knowledge to the public about the mental problems faced by them. Through this training activity, the basic skills possessed by cadres regarding early detection of mental health, education about mental health are increased. This will go hand in hand with the active participation of health care workers, in this case the Puskesmas nurses. The mental health cadre training was attended by 42 cadres at the Cigeureung Community Health Center. Abstract

Maintenance of personal hygiene is an important thing that must be done by everyone. Personal hygiene can determine health status. . If skin health is not maintained, it will cause skin diseases caused by fungi, viruses, germs and parasites, one of the diseases that is often found in skin diseases is scabies. (Nursing, 2013). Scabies is identical to a disease in humans who live in a community such as a boarding school, this happens because of poor hygiene conditions, poor sanitation and room conditions that are not exposed to direct sunlight. Scabies spreads quickly in a community that lives together so that treatment must be carried out simultaneously and thoroughly on all people and the environment affected by scabies, because if treatment is carried out individually, it will be easy to re-infect scabies (Djuanda, 2017). The assumption that has developed in the community is that Islamic boarding schools are slum places, with unhealthy environmental conditions. Scabies disease is often found in Islamic boarding schools because Islamic boarding school children / santri often exchange clothes or borrow clothes from each other, gloves and even pillows, rarely take a bath, towels and toiletries such as soap. So that the rate of transmission of scabies also increases. Transmission occurs because the female Sarcoptes scabei is fertilized. Lack of attention to Islamic boarding schools including elements in it, namely the students make Islamic boarding schools a place that is considered a nest of disease due to the lack of knowledge of students about this scabies disease. The factors that underlie a community environment such as boarding schools are often infected with scabies, namely because of the dense environment, limited knowledge of students about scabies and students' awareness of the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene. From the puskesmas data in 2019 the incidence of scabies in the Al Amin Islamic boarding school was high with the number of students infected with 52 people and those not infected with 47 people. From the results of Purnimarahmi's research (2016) regarding the level of knowledge of the students, the following results showed that students' knowledge of the disease Most of the scabies in the Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School in Tasikmalaya City were in the less category, namely 79.2%. And the results of Novita's research (2016) from 62 respondents stated that the risk factor for the occurrence of scabies disease in RSUD dr. Soekarjo majority 65.1% male, 41.3% aged 13-21 years, 73.02% environmental factors in the moderate category and 34.9% suffered by students. This activity aims to increase knowledge of students, the method is carried out in the form of health education lectures, question and answer discussions, with advocacy strategies, atmosphere building and community empowerment at Al Amin Islamic Boarding School in Tasikmalaya City.

Abstract

Viruses cannot be destroyed, they can only be weakened. This makes the Indonesian people face new challenges that require them to adapt to new patterns of habits, especially when in public places. The importance of this made the government issue KMK policy No. HK.01.07-MENKES-382-2020 dated 19 June 2020 concerning Adaptation of new habits in public facilities1. Padayungan Market as a traditional market in Tasikmalaya is at risk of the growth of new clusters of virus transmission, in which various transactions and crowds of people occur in buying and selling. The market manager said that efforts had been made through appeals to rapid tests but public compliance with regulations, the manager did not provide guarantees, because regulating behavior in the market was very difficult to do. The results of the research, 55% of traders are not used to implementing the new protocol recommended by the government, they comply with the protocol only when the officers are on the alert, basically traders are afraid of transmitting the virus, but selling cannot be abandoned. Padayungan. With this activity, market traders are more concerned about personal hygiene and the Padayungan market will not become a new cluster of virus transmission.

Abstract

The Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS) is a systematic and planned action carried out jointly by all components of the nation with awareness, willingness and ability to behave healthily to improve the quality of life. The implementation of GERMAS must start from the family, because the family is the smallest part of society that forms personality. GERMAS can be done by: Doing physical activity, consuming vegetables and fruit, not smoking, not consuming alcohol, checking your health regularly, cleaning the environment, and using a toilet. In the initial stage, GERMAS nationally started by focusing on three activities, namely: 1) Carrying out 30 minutes of physical activity per day, 2) Consuming fruit and vegetables; and 3) Check your health regularly. GERMAS is a national movement initiated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia which prioritizes promotive and preventive efforts, without neglecting curative-rehabilitative efforts by involving all components of the nation in promoting the healthy paradigm. To make GERMAS a success, you cannot only rely on the role of the health sector alone. The aim of this community service activity is to socialize the program that has been created by the government so that good habits can be achieved in society with healthy community living habits. Based on a preliminary study at the Cibeureum health center, it turns out that this program has not been socialized either to Cibeureum health center staff or to the community. So we feel the need to socialize GERMAS to help government programs achieve optimal improvement in public health, especially at the Riyadul Ulum Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School, Tasikmalaya City. community (IbM) Tasikmalaya Health Polytechnic. Activities were carried out over a period of 1 year

Abstract

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this case study is to describe the implementation of Qur’anic murottal therapy in post-sectio caesarean mothers, its effects on pain reduction and sleep quality improvement, and its role as a non-pharmacological nursing intervention. Methods: This study employed a qualitative design using a case study approach involving two post-sectio caesarean mothers. The intervention consisted of listening to Qur’anic murottal therapy (Surah Ar-Rahman) for 15 minutes once daily over three consecutive days. Pain intensity was measured using the Verbal Rating Scale (VRS), while sleep quality was assessed using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Results: The results showed that both respondents experienced acute pain related to post-sectio caesarean surgical wounds. After the implementation of Qur’anic murottal therapy, pain intensity decreased from the severe pain category to the mild pain category. In addition, sleep quality improved from the poor category to the good category in both mothers. Conclusions: Qur’anic murottal therapy is proven to be effective in reducing pain intensity and improving sleep quality in post-sectio caesarean mothers. Therefore, this therapy can be recommended as an alternative non-pharmacological nursing intervention to help control pain and enhance sleep quality.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this case study is to describe the nursing care process for patients with hypertension through the application of guided imagery relaxation therapy and its effect on changes in blood pressure. Methods: This scientific paper uses a qualitative design with a case study approach conducted on two hypertensive patients at Khz Mushtafa Hospital. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and physical examinations. Guided imagery relaxation therapy was implemented once daily in the afternoon for 15–20 minutes over three consecutive days. Results: The results of the case study showed a decrease in blood pressure in both patients after the application of guided imagery relaxation therapy. Patient 1 experienced a reduction in systolic blood pressure of 38 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of 12 mmHg. Patient 2 showed a decrease in systolic blood pressure of 20 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of 15 mmHg. Conclusions: The conclusion of this case study demonstrates that guided imagery relaxation therapy is effective in lowering blood pressure in patients with hypertension. It is expected that hypertensive patients can perform guided imagery relaxation therapy routinely and regularly as a complementary nursing intervention to help improve blood pressure control and achieve values closer to normal.
