Abstract

This activity aimed to educate the public about Synbiotic Tempe Extract Krenova Soygurt Products as Functional Drinks for Stunting Prevention. The implementation of activities as community service in the form of health education and counseling on stunting prevention involved 10 lecturers, 12 students along with 9 cadres and 30 people from the Cempaka Integrated Health Post, Wonorejo Village, Gondangrejo, Karanganyar Regency. The social community activity was carried out on August 26, 2024, and the community received a response and enthusiasm through active participation and involvement in the discussion and question and answer sessions. The essence of the implementation and dissemination of the benefits of synbiotic soygurt tempeh can function as a functional drink based on science and technology, halal and economical through a community partnership program carried out sustainably, completely, and meaningfully at the Cempaka Integrated Health Post, Wonorejo Village, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency to achieve the target of down streaming Kreova health products that are beneficial to the community and support the success of the Government's program in overcoming and reducing the incidence of stunting in Indonesia.

Abstract

Exercise is an activity that provides physical and mental health benefits. Basketball is one of the most popular sports in society. In sports there is a risk of sprain ankle injuries. One of the efforts to improve individual skills in dealing with sprain ankle injuries is the masase frirage training program which is one of the techniques for handling sprain ankle injuries. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of masase frirage training on handling skills of sprain ankle. This study used quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Design research method with pre and post tests without control. The sample size is 20 respondents by using total sampling technique. The research instrument used SOP masase frirage to assess the skills of the respondents. The results of data analysis obtained by using the Wilcoxon signed test that the significant value (p) is 0.000 which means that p <0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of masase frirage training on handling skills of sprain ankle.

Abstract

The article aimed to describe how character values were integrated into the teaching English process. Type of research adopted qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection employed observation and literature study. Data analysis included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and creating a conclusion. The results obtained (1)an overview of the implementation of character education at the higher education level through English lessons. and (2) integrated character values in learning English. The integration process was performed by incorporating character values, especially in the characteristics of patriotism, communication, avid reading, curiosity, democracy, and independence in the form of planning (syllabus and lesson plans), learning methods, teaching materials, learning media, classroom implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of overall activities.
