Abstract

The use of technology in the educational process is one of the aspects that influence or help fulfill a quality learning process in an effort to achieve educational goals. If the use of this technology is not carried out, there will be many difficulties encountered in the learning process which are given directly by the teacher. This will affect many aspects, such as the teacher's explanation which is difficult to accept and understand and the lack of concentration of students during the learning process because the media provided is monotonous. This study aims to develop learning media and produce valid, practical, and effective media in the subject of Basic Computers and Networks for class X Computer Engineering and Basic Networks at YAPIM Vocational School. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method, with a four-D development model. The results obtained from this study are web-based interactive learning media. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the developed media was declared valid on the media aspect of 86%, the material aspect with a yield of 96%. The developed media is practical with the practicality value of the teacher's response with a result of 97.92% and the student's response is 88.29%, and the resulting web-based interactive learning media is effectively used with the posttest results seen from the students' classical completeness of 100% and the gain score of 0.50 in the moderate category.

Abstract

Various kinds of research that has been conducted on the effect of problem-based learning on learning outcomes have varied and sometimes conflicting outputs, so it is necessary to carry out a meta-analysis. This article presents a meta-analysis regarding the impact of problem-based learning in improving student learning outcomes. This type of research is based on the source of meta-analysis in the form of experimental or quasi-experimental and observational research with a quantitative approach. Data analysis was seen from the effect size using a calculator for t-test. The subjects in the research are studies that are collected in the form of articles related to the purpose of the research. The results of the analysis of 26 article sources, obtained an average effect size of around 0.79 in the medium category. Problem-based learning is indeed effective in improving student learning outcomes. The implication of doing meta-analysis is to be able to find out more accurately about problem-based learning approaches that are effective in improving student learning outcomes as well as useful information for policy makers in the field of education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan media video pembelajaran yang memenuhi kriteria validitas dan kepraktisan guna mendukung proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Teknik Pengkondisian Udara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research and Development) dengan model penelitian 4D (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa media video pembelajaran yang telah di validasi oleh validator materi dan validator media serta praktikalitas media diuji melalui penerapan pada mahasiswa. Penilaian dari validator materi mendapatkan nilai 96% pada klasifikasi sangat valid dan hasil penilaian dari validator media mendapatkan nilai 94,4% pada klasifikasi sangat valid juga. Selain itu, uji praktikalitas mahasiswa yang dilakukan kepada 30 orang responden mendapatkan nilai 87% pada klasifikasi praktis. Jadi, dapat di ambil kesimpulan video pembelajaran yang peneliti kembangkan sangat valid dan praktis digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang cara kerja AC mobil. This research focuses on developing learning video media that meets the criteria of validity and practicality to support the learning process in Air Conditioning Engineering course. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with a 4D research model (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). The results of this study are the form of learning video media that have been validated by the material validator and media validator and the practicality of the media is tested through application to students. The assessment from the material validator got a score 96% in the very valid classification and the results of the assessment from the media validator got a score of 94.4% in the very valid classification as well. In addition, the student practicality test conducted on 30 respondents got a score of 87% in the practical classification. So, it can be concluded that the learning video that the researcher developed is very valid and practical to use to improve understanding of how car AC works.

Abstract

Penelitian terkait sikap belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pemeliharaan Mesin Kendaraan Ringan (PMKR) SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir terhadap hasil belajar perlu dilakukan, agar mendapatkan informasi terkait gaya belajar, minat, dan bakat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Populasi dan Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa di kelas X Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Total Sampling. Angket digunakan untuk mengukur sikap belajar siswa dan dokumentasi nilai siswa untuk mengukur hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap belajar memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan hasil belajar dengan nilai (r = 0,999). Sikap belajar juga memberikan kontribusi sebesar 99,9% terhadap pencapaian belajar siswa.  Research related to students' learning attitudes in the Light Vehicle Engine Maintenance subject at SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir towards learning outcomes needs to be conducted, in order to obtain information related to learning styles, interests, and talents to improve the quality of learning. The population and sample of this study amounted to 30 students in class X of Light Vehicle Engineering at SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir, sampling using the Total Sampling technique. Questionnaires were used to measure students' learning attitudes and documentation of student grades to measure learning outcomes. The results of the study showed that learning attitudes had a positive and significant relationship with learning outcomes with a value (r = 0.999). Learning attitudes also contributed 99.9% to student learning achievement.

Abstract

Elections are an important foundation in a democratic system, but are often marred by various problems such as vote manipulation and lack of transparency. This research analyzes the use of blockchain technology and smart contracts in electronic election systems to increase security, transparency and vote validity. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) which includes problem identification, literature study, system design, prototype development, as well as testing and evaluation. The research results show that blockchain implementation can automate the voting process, ensure data authenticity and reduce the potential for fraud. In addition, this research adds a facial verification feature as an additional layer of security that was not available in previous research, thereby increasing the integrity of the election system. By utilizing this technology, blockchain-based electronic elections are expected to provide innovative solutions that increase public confidence in election results, as well as create a more modern and efficient democratic system.

Abstract

Mentawai is a regency located in West Sumatra, Indonesia, known for its natural beauty and cultural richness, particularly in marine and cultural tourism. Muntei Village, in the South Siberut Subdistrict, is a prime example of this potential, offering diverse tourism experiences and cultural heritage. However, the local Tourism Awareness Groups (POKDARWIS) face challenges due to limited digital literacy, which hinders effective tourism promotion. This study details a program designed to enhance the digital literacy of POKDARWIS members through structured training and assistance. Key findings reveal significant improvements in digital skills, including website creation, social media engagement, and content creation for tourism promotion. These developments highlight the importance of digital literacy in supporting sustainable tourism and economic growth in the Mentawai Islands.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali fenomena inovasi produk teknologi sebagai faktor kunci dalam mencapai keunggulan kompetitif di era digital. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis, penelitian ini fokus pada pemahaman mendalam terhadap faktor pendorong, tantangan, serta dampak inovasi teknologi terhadap keberhasilan perusahaan. Pendekatan yang digunakan mencakup studi literatur dan studi kasus, dengan sumber data sekunder yang meliputi artikel jurnal ilmiah, laporan industri dari lembaga riset ternama seperti McKinsey, Gartner, dan Deloitte, serta publikasi pemerintah dan organisasi internasional terkait transformasi digital. Penelitian ini juga mengkaji studi kasus perusahaan besar seperti Google, Apple, dan Tesla yang berhasil, serta startup teknologi yang inovatif. Teknik analisis data yang diterapkan mencakup kategorisasi data, analisis deskriptif, analisis perbandingan, dan sintesis. Untuk memastikan keabsahan data, penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan peer review. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan wawasan yang lebih jelas mengenai peran inovasi teknologi dalam menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif di dunia bisnis yang semakin digital.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi menciptakan salah satu media praktis seperti Kahoot untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh hasil belajar siswa kelas XI Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMKN 2 Solok melalui penggunaan aplikasi Kahoot, pada mata pelajaran  Mesin Konversi Energi.  Metode yang digunakan merupakan Intact group comparison untuk mencari perbandingan yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Kelompok- kelompok yang ada secara alami atau sudah terbentuk dipilih dan dibandingkan tanpa adanya randomisasi atau pengaturan ulang. Analasis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis data dilakukan secara analisis statistik.  Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan Kahoot terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran. Hasil uji analisis paired samples test (uji t) yang memperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0 < 0,05, dan analisis effect size cohen’s d yang memperoleh nilai d 1,82, nilai d tersebut berada dalam interval > 1,00 yang artinya pengaruh yang kuat. Kahoot memiliki pengaruh yang yang kuat terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI TKRO di SMKN 2 Solok. Technological advances have created practical media such as Kahoot to improve learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effect of learning outcomes of class XI Light Vehicle Engineering students at SMKN 2 Solok through the use of the Kahoot application, in the Energy Conversion Machine subject. The method used is Intact group comparison to find the comparison used in the study. Groups that exist naturally or have been formed are selected and compared without randomization or rearrangement. Data analysis is qualitative and quantitative. Data analysis is carried out using statistical analysis. There is a significant effect of the use of Kahoot on student learning outcomes in learning. The results of the paired samples test (t-test) analysis obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0 <0.05, and the Cohen's d effect size analysis obtained a d value of 1.82, the d value is in the interval> 1.00 which means a strong influence. Kahoot has a strong influence on the learning outcomes of class XI TKRO students at SMKN 2 Solok.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII teknik otomotif SMKN 2 Payakumbuh dari kontribusi mata pelajaran PKK, Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang bersifat korelasional untuk menyelidiki populasi atau sampel tertentu, dalam hal ini, 56 dari 126 siswa dalam populasi berfungsi sebagai sampel penelitian, Siswa kelas XII jurusan teknik otomotif menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan PKK sangat mempengaruhi minat berwirausaha dengan nilai korelasi 0,311 dengan tingkat hubungan rendah, dapat dilihat pada hasil nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, serta dilihat pada uji koefisien determinasi koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,138 artinya antar variabel memiliki hubungan yang. The research aims to determine the entrepreneurial interest of class XII automotive engineering students of SMKN 2 Payakumbuh from the contribution of PKK subjects, The research method uses quantitative methods that are correlational in nature to investigate certain populations or samples, in this case, 56 out of 126 students in the population serve as research samples, class XII students majoring in automotive engineering are the focus of this research. Data analysis using SPSS application. The findings show that PKK education strongly influences entrepreneurial interest with a correlation value of 0.311 with a low level of relationship, it can be seen in the results of a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, and seen in the test of the coefficient of determination of the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.138, meaning that between variables have a relationship.

Abstract

Vocational education plays a critical role in preparing students to meet industry demands and enter the workforce effectively. This study aims to evaluate the One Heart Education Program in the Motorcycle Engineering and Business expertise competency at SMKN 1 Luak District, focusing on context, input, process, and product aspects, using the CIPP evaluation model. The study examines whether the program has been managed optimally. Employing a mixed-method approach, the research uses purposive sampling, involving 36 respondents, 26 for quantitative data and 10 as qualitative informants. Data collection methods include questionnaires and interviews. The evaluation results show that the program achieved an overall score of 72.24, categorized as sufficient, indicating suboptimal management. In detail, the context aspect related to program objectives is rated as poor, though the environmental aspect is good. The input, process, and product aspects are also found to be lacking. Key recommendations include optimizing the context aspect by refining program goals, adopting a centralized approach in the input aspect to explore students’ potential, enhancing the learning process in the process aspect to better align with industrial standards, and improving outcomes in the product aspect. These improvements aim to enhance the overall effectiveness and impact of the One Heart Education Program.
