Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh partisipasi yang sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran, yaitu peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat seberapa pentingnya partisipasi didik pada saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan riset kualitatif dengan desain penelitiaan studi kasus untuk mengetahui secara mendalam. Subjek dalam penelitian ini di uji cobakan kepada peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Baginda II Kabupaten Sumedang. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan daripenelitian ini, tingkatan partisipasi peserta didik pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung menggunakan media yang berbasis teknologi dilihat dari tiga aspek antara lain partisipasi peserta didik dalam bertanya, partisipasi peserta didik dalam menanggapi persoalan, serta partisipasi peserta didik dalam mengerjakan tugas. Partisipan menyadari jika berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran ialah hal yang sangat penting, dikarenakan perihal tersebut ialah kunci dari tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Hasil diarahkan dari hasil observasi, dan angket yang diberikan kepada peserta didik di SD Negeri Baginda II Kabupaten Sumedang bahwa peserta didik mampu berpartisipasi aktif sepanjang proses pembelajaran walaupun belum sepenuhnya. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta didik berpartisipasi aktif selama proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan media berbasis teknologi secara luring (tatap muka).

Abstract

Model Discovery Leraning merupakan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara mandiri oleh siswa agar mencapai suatu pemahaman konsep sehingga mendapatkan pembelajaran bermakna bagi kehidupannya. Pada kenyataannya masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah. Dikarenakan materi yang harus mereka kaji menganai fenomena, teori, ataupun konsep selalu berkaitan dengan alam dan terlalu kompleks untuk dipelajari tanpa menggunakan model ataupun media pembelajaran.Salah satu alasan utama kurang efektifnya proses pembelajaran adalah ketidak cocokan model pembelajaran dengan minat dan karakteristik siswa di era globalisasi ini. Sebagai alternatif solusi, model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan bantuan buku cerita bergambar dapat diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Model ini membantu siswa membangun pemahaman konsep dengan mengaitkan pembelajaran dengan lingkungan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai pengaruh model discovery learning yang menggunakan buku cerita bergambar terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi energi. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain non-equivalent control group, dengan sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas IV-A SD Negeri Paripurna sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan IV-B SD Negeri Paripurna sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian digunakan untuk mengukur pengaruh model discovery learning berbantuan buku cerita bergambar terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa.

Abstract

This research was motivated by elementary school students’ low numeracy literacy ability, especially grade III. The low numeracy literacy of students is caused by students' thinking that mathematics is a complex subject and the selection of learning models that do not develop students' critical thinking skills. Meanwhile, students need good critical thinking and problem-solving skills to answer numeracy literacy questions. This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning models on numeracy literacy skills. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design. The samples in this study were grade III A and B students of SD Negeri Sukaraja Wetan I. The research instruments used were numeracy literacy tests, teacher performance observation sheets, and student activity observation sheets. Data analysis techniques used in SPSS version 26 are the t-test, simple linear regression, and N-Gain tests. The results of this study showed the influence of the problem-based learning model on the numeracy literacy ability of elementary school students by 52.8%. In addition, there was a difference in students' numeracy literacy ability, marked by an increase of 41% with the medium category in the experimental class. In contrast, in the control class, there was only an increase in scores of 11% with the low category.

Abstract

This study discusses the values of character education with pedagogical relevance in the animated film Upin and Ipin. The animated film Upin and Ipin is a quality children's film because it conveys education in the form of character education and transfers pedagogical values ​​that can help develop children's character. This study aims to find out how the relevance of pedagogical values ​​and educational values ​​in the animated film Upin and Ipin for elementary school children so that the focus of this research is on the character values ​​of the animated film characters Upin and Ipin. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The method used is a documentation method for data collection and a content analysis method for analyzing data. The results of the study show that the animated films Upin and Ipin have character education values ​​and are relevant to pedagogy, namely religion, tolerance, social care, hard work, friendship, and responsibility. This study gives meaning to animated films as an effective medium for conveying education and character values ​​to elementary school-age children.

Abstract

Implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar menuntut guru untuk memiliki tingkat kompetensi digital yang mumpuni sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Kompetensi digital guru selepas adanya pembelajaran dari rumah (learning from home) akibat pandemi Covid-19 dan mulai terbiasanya dengan pembelajaran bauran (blended learning) pada masa adaptasi kebiasaan baru ternyata membuat guru menjadi lebih melek terhadap penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana profil dan kesiapan kompetensi digital guru sekolah dasar dalam implementasi merdeka belajar yang dapat ditindaklanjuti dengan pelatihan. Survey dilakukan kepada 223 guru sekolah dasar dari 11 kota/kabupaten di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menampilkan data berupa persentase kemampuan digital guru sesuai dengan standar Common Digital Competence Framework for Teacher INTEF edisi tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aspek literasi informasi dan data sudah sangat baik dipahami oleh guru sekolah dasar. Namun pada aspek pembuatan konten digital untuk pembelajaran ternyata masih rendah. Oleh karena itu dalam artikel ini juga direkomendasikan adanya pelatihan dengan model SMART sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik guru sekolah dasar di Jawa Barat Indonesia.

Abstract

Horseshoe seating formation is a student seating arrangement method designed to create optimal interaction and communication in the classroom and for the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method learning strategy as a means to achieve effective learning objectives. This study aims to determine the effect of horseshoe seating arrangement and the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method on the science learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN Bunter 1. The type of research is quantitative with experimental research methods. The design used pretest-posttest control group design. The samples of this study were VA class students as control class and VB as experimental class with a total of 72 students. The research sample was determined using purposive sampling. Data analysis using SPSS software version 20.0 for windows. The results showed that the significance value for the seating arrangement was 0.00 <0.05 while the significance value for the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning method was 0.00 <0.05, this means that H0 is rejected Ha is accepted. The research conclusion shows that there is a positive influence of seating arrangement and Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning method on student learning motivation.

Abstract

This research examines the relationship between transformational leadership and academic service quality in higher education. This research adopts a quantitative descriptive research method. There were 506 research samples consisting of the head of the study program, lecturers, staff, and students taken from six regional campuses of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, where they were enrolled in the study program for Primary Teacher Education. Primary data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire. Data analysis conducted in this research used the SPSS 24.00 application, which consists of descriptive data analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA analysis, and regression evaluation. The findings revealed a positive and significant relationship between the nature of the transformational leadership model and the quality of academic services. This research finds further support for the relationship between transformational leadership models and the quality of academic services in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of playing the online game Free Fire on elementary school students’ learning motivation at home. The background of this research stems from the increasing intensity of online gaming among children, which is suspected to reduce their interest and motivation to study. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was employed in this research. The subjects consisted of 13 elementary school students who played Free Fire for more than 2 hours a day. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. The findings revealed that playing Free Fire affects various aspects, such as physical and mental health (eye strain, fatigue, irritability), decreased interest in studying, memory disturbances, and reduced independence and responsibility in learning. However, some students were able to manage their playing time and still showed good motivation to learn. The study concludes that Free Fire has a negative impact on students’ learning motivation, especially when played excessively without proper supervision.

Abstract

This paper discusses the improvement of students’ understanding of the PPkn learning subject, especially in the learning material of values of the 4th precept Pancasila, namely ‘Musyawarah’. The researcher found some problems related to the lack of innovation in the use of learning media so which causes students to have low interest in learning and to provide impact of students’ lack of understanding of the learning material. Using digital-based learning media, namely Interactive Books, is expected to be able to overcome the existing problem. The research method used is R&D with an approach of mixed method and the ADDIE research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Research design uses One Group Pretest Design. The data collection techniques used are interviews and tests of understanding in the form of 15 questions of multiple-choice questions. The test is tested through SPSS software version 26 with the W-test (Wilcoxon) because the data research result in Posttest is not normally distributed. Measurement uses the N-gain test to measure and see how much percentage improvement before and after conducting treatment through learning media Interactive Book. Research results indicate that based on the testing, there is a change mark from Pretest to Posttest after conducting the treatment through i-book at 0.47 (47%) with medium criteria. It proves that Interactive Book produces an improvement or change to a better direction related to students’ understanding at class III SD of Panyingkiran II.
