Abstract

The absence of a father figure physically, emotionally and psychologically impacts the psychological development of individuals, especially adolescents. Fatherless is a term used for individuals who have unfavorable emotional experiences due to lack of affection from their father. The loss of the father's role is not only caused by death or divorce, but fathers who do not have time to interact with children also cause adolescents to experience fatherless conditions. This study was designed to assess the impact of fatherlessness on adolescents' socioemotional state by reviewing and interpreting available research using the Systematic Literature Review method. The articles were then analyzed and summarized in this study. It was found that children, especially adolescents who experience the fatherless phenomenon, will experience symptoms such as loneliness, jealousy, anxiety, and depression. This statement shows that the loss of the father's role in the life of adolescents can have an impact in socioemotional aspects.

Abstract

The background of this research is to understand how to communicate with persons with disabilities. The purpose of this research is for the general public to understand how to interact properly and correctly with persons with disabilities. The research method used in this study is a qualitative description method. The results of this study were to obtain data on communication problems that often occur between people with disabilities and how to communicate well with people with disabilities. The conclusion of this study is that it is difficult for people with disabilities to communicate, the right way to communicate is to communicate with love and feelings and with soft words.

Abstract

Down syndrome is a common disorder. In Indonesia, cases of Down syndrome tend to increase every year. Down syndrome is a genetic disorder that causes children to have low cognitive and physical differences. One of the differences owned by down syndrome children is their language development. Therefore, this article was prepared to find out how language development in down syndrome children. This article was prepared using the systematic literature review (SLR) method, which contains how language development in children with Down syndrome, factors that affect language development in children with Down syndrome, and efforts that can be made to develop language skills in children with Down syndrome. This article explains that some Down syndrome children experience language delays, which are caused by genetic abnormalities and physical conditions such as a mouth cavity that is too narrow, a short palate, weak speech muscles and many more. To overcome language development in children with Down syndrome, several efforts can be made such as conducting speech and language therapy, and using the PECS method which has been proven effective in efforts to develop language in children with Down syndrome.

Abstract

In the era of globalization that marks the existence of long-distance relationships (LDR), the role of language becomes an important focal point in understanding the dynamics of interaction between couples separated by geographical distance. This research uses Systematic Literature Review with Prism Method with the help of qualified google scholar. The results of the analysis are based on (23) twenty three relevant articles. Through the systematic literature review process within the span of last five years, highlighting the complexity of interpersonal communication in the context of LDR. This article discusses the extent of the role of language in LDR by using a sociolinguistic approach, emphasizing the importance of openness, honesty. and intensity of communication as the main factors in maintaining the relationship. Therefore, language is not only a means of communication, but also a foundation that builds and maintains emotional closeness between couples in LDR relationships, and provides insight into strategies that can be used to overcome problems that arise in these situations.
