Abstract

This study analyzes the contribution of Abu al-A'la al-Maududi's thought related to Islamic morality in the Islamic economic system. The background of this study departs from the failure of the conventional economic system that is materialistic and independent of moral values, so that the concept of Islamic economics that integrates ethics and spirituality is needed. With the method of literature study and the approach of Maqāṣid al-Syarī'ah, this study examines al-Maududi's works and compares them with relevant literature. The results of the study show that morality in al-Maududi's thought is not just an additional norm, but the main foundation of Islamic economics that emphasizes justice, balance, and social responsibility. These findings confirm the fundamental differences between Islamic and conventional economics, while providing practical implications that the implementation of modern Islamic economics must prioritize the integration of moral values in economic policies and practices.

Abstract

This research focuses on energy-saving solutions through IoT-based smart homes. Telegram-based multi-point control system is designed to optimize the use of electronic devices. The purpose of this research is to design and develop a Telegram-based on/off multi-point control system on automatic lights to optimize the use of electronic devices, improve energy efficiency, and adapt to technological developments and modern lifestyle needs. The method used in this study is qualitative based on RND, which aims to develop and test new or improved products with a focus on numerical measurements. The test results were analyzed to assess the performance of the system in responding to commands at various distances and conditions, both with and without obstacles.

Abstract

Salah satu di antara corak tafsir yang dikenal dalam penafsiran Alquran adalah tafsir bercorak sufistik, kemudian melahirkan ajaran tasawuf atau kerohanian yang menekankan kepada kesucian dan kesempurnaan jiwa, hati (qalb) dan moralitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah library research (penelitian pustaka). Al-Gazali dalam bidang penafsiran sufistik, dianggap memiliki bangunan epistemologi dan penafsiran yang lebih sistematis dan lebih konkrit dibanding mufasir sufi lainnya. AlGazali dalam melakukan penafsiran, memberi porsi lebih banyak kepada makna batin ayat-ayat Alquran tanpa meninggalkan makna zahirnya. Penafsiran sufistik al-Gazali sangat penting dan dibutuhkan mengingat masyarakat modern memiliki kecenderungan materialistik, sehingga terkesan mengalami kegersangan spiritualitas. Berangkat dari realitas ini, maka penafsiran sufistik al-Gazali hadir untuk melakukan pencerahan, bukan saja secara spiritual (batiniyah), tetapi juga secara intelektual, yakni mengedepankan kejujuran, moralitas dan ibadah dalam setiap amal perbuatan.ABSTRACTOne of interpretation styles that is known in al-Quran interpretation is Sufi pattern, then generating Sufism teachings or spirituality emphasizing to sanctity and perfect soul, heart (qalb) and morality. This research employs a method of library research. Al-Ghazali in the field of Sufi interpretation patterns is regarded to have epistemology construction and interpretation more systematic and clearer than other Sufi commentators. In doing interpretation, he gives more portions to the inner meaning of al-Quran verses without leaving surface meaning. Al-Ghazali's Sufi interpretation is really needed since modern society tend to be materialistic so that it seems they experience crisis spirituality. Based on this fact, the presence of Sufi interpretation of al-Ghazali is more likely to be recognized as enlightening, not only spiritual but also intellectual by implementing honesty, morality, and worship in every charitable acts.
