Abstract

Roads are one of the transportation infrastructures that are really needed for daily life, so during their service period it is hoped that the condition of the road will be durable according to its intended lifespan. One of the influences that makes an asphalt mixture good is the compaction carried out during implementation. The compaction assessment is expected to determine the density and strength of the asphalt layer through the marshall limit to obtain the ideal strength value for the asphalt mixture, so it is important to know the ideal number of collisions during implementation. . The results of tests on the effect of variations in the number of collisions on marshall characteristics that have been carried out produce values ​​that meet the specifications set by SNI Bina Marga 2018 revision 2, including tests that obtained a stability value of 2086.99kg, a flow value of 3.55 mm, a VIM value of 5.84% , the VMA value is 18.69%, the VFB value is 68.73%, and the MQ value is 587.89 kg/mm, so that an optimum collision of 60 collisions is obtained. Thus it can be stated that it meets the HRS-WC specifications.

Abstract

West Sulawesi holds great potential in the field of candlenut farming, ranking second in Indonesia by producing 10 tons per year. This has an impact on the large amount of candlenut waste produced, especially in the candlenut shell part. One way to overcome this is to use candlenut shell ash as a substitute for filler in the asphalt layer. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using candlenut shell ash waste as a filler on the type of Asphalt Concrete - Wearing Course mixture with variations in the addition of 2%, 3% and 4% filler. Apart from that, this research also aims to analyze the effect of using 6.4% asphalt content on the mixture. The research that has been carried out shows that the addition of candlenut shell ash as a filler to the Asphalt Concrete - Wearing Course mixture with an asphalt content of 6.4% is used. The results obtained were that, while the 2% and 3% variations had 4% fulfilled the 2018 General Bina Marga specifications and could be used as a mixture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi SkimCoat dan foam agent 1/60 terhadap pembuatan bata ringan, pada penelitian kali ini dimana semen putih yang di gunakan di ganti dengan Scimcoat. Benda uji berupa kubus dengan ukuran 5 x 5 cm dengan 5 variasi dengan campuran foam agent 1/60 dimana foam agent 0%,25%,50%,75% dan 100% sama dengan jumlah semen, setiap variasi memiliki 18 sampel dengan volume kubus 0,13 cm3 dimana sekali pencampuran menggunakan 5 liter air dengan variasi campuran pasir sungai Mapilli, Menggunakan campuran air tawar dengan FA40 dimana pengganti semen adalah Scimcoat. Selanjutnya melakukan uji tekan umur 7,28,91 hari dengan masing-masing 3 sampel, dan electrical resisticity umur 28 dan 91 hari masing-masing 2 sampel. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai uji kuat tekan mencapai nilai optimum 22,21 Mpa dan masuk kategori rendah resiko terpapar korosi.
