Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja bisnis UMKM Desa Polengan melalui upaya meningkatkan kualitas dan inovasi produk. Metode dalam pengabdian dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) dimana pendekatan ini dimulai dengan melakukan analisis situasi dengan pihak desa dan BUMDES sehingga didapatkan berbagai data permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM yaitu antara lain: masih rendahnya pengetahuan tentang produk dan sertifikasi halal; rendahnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan SDM dalam pengembangan produk/ inovasi produk. Oleh karena itu maka pengabdian ini melaksanakan kegiatan Sosialisasi Produksi dan sertifikasi halal dan Pelatihan Inovasi Produk serta penyerahan alat yang dibutuhkan UMKM. Hasil dari sosialisasi halal didapatkan bahwa UMKM semakin menyadari pentingnya sertifikasi halal dan tertarik untuk mengikuti sertifikasi halal yang dibantu oleh pemerintah. Sedangkan dari pelatihan inovasi produk yaitu pembuatan bayam krispi dan kripik belut daun singkong menarik perhatian warga untuk mencoba memproduksi kripik tersebut karena bahan yang mudah untuk didapatkan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Juli 2022 dengan jumlah peserta 20 UMKM di Desa Polengan. Kesadaran masyarakat Desa Polengan akan produk halal dan inovasi produk ini diharapkan akan meningkatkan kinerja bisnis UMKM kedepannya. This service aims to improve the business performance of Polengan Village SMEs through efforts to enhance product quality and innovation. The method of service is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach where this approach begins by conducting a situation analysis with the village and BUMDES so that various data on problems faced by MSMEs are obtained, namely: low knowledge about products and halal certification; low HR knowledge and skills in product development/ product innovation. Therefore, this service carries out Halal Production and Certification Socialization activities, Product Innovation Training, and handing over the tools that MSMEs need. The results of the halal socialization found that MSMEs are increasingly aware of the importance of halal certification and are interested in participating in halal certification assisted by the government. While the product innovation training, namely making crispy spinach and cassava leaf eel chips, attracted the attention of residents to try to produce these chips because the ingredients were easy to obtain. This service activity was carried out on July 20, 2022, with 20 SMEs in Polengan Village. The awareness of the people of Polengan Village about halal products and product innovation will improve the SMEs business performance in the future.

Abstract

UMKM termasuk salah satu sector yang sangat terdampak dengan adanya Pandemi Covid-19. Kondisi Pandemi ini bahkan menyebabkan 63,9% dari UMKM yang terdampak mengalami penurunan omzet lebih dari 30%. Dampak pandemic juga dirasakan oleh para pedagang di sekitaran Prapatan Perumnas Palur dimana diwilayah tersebut menjadi wilayah perdagangan yang cukup ramai sebelum pandemi. Penurunan konsumsi rumah tangga serta berkurangnya aktivitas berbelanja di luar rumah menyebabkan berkurangnya pendapatan warung-warung makanan, warung sembako dan pedagang – pedagang kecil yang berada di Perumnas Palur khususnya di wilayah prapatan, daerah yang menjadi sentra hilir mudik penduduk di wilayah ini. Banyak dari pedagang yang masih mengandalkan penjualannya secara offline dan ketidakpahaman cara untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan semakin membuat dampak pandemic terasa cukup berat bagi mereka. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan ini dilakukan untuk membantu pada pedagang di wilayah prapatan Perumnas Palur agar dapat memunculkan kreativitas dan inovasi dan kemampuan untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan yang serba digital saat ini. Adapun kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilaksanakan terdiri dari 3 tahap. Tahap pertama melakukan Sosialisasi serta melakukan proses Need Training Analysis untuk mengetahui profil pedagang serta kebutuhan pelatihan yang akan diselenggarakan. Tahap selanjutnya adalah melaksanakan pelatihan sesuai kebutuhan seperti pelatihan kewirausahaan dan manajemen bisnis online, pelatihan membuat desain promosi flyer canva serta praktek pemasaran online sederhana. Hasil dari pelatihan peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan yang bertambah tentang mindset kewirausahaan dan manajemen bisnis. Peserta juga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membuat desain promosi melalui aplikasi Canva. Selain itu peserta juga bisa melakukan praktik pemasaran online sederhana baik melalui media social maupun aplikasi. Hasil dari post test menunjukkan bahwa hampir semua peserta pelatihan mengatakan bahwa pelatihan ini sangat menarik , sangat bermanfaat, dan mereka menjadi tertarik untuk memasarkan produknya secara online. Peserta juga berharap bahwa mereka akan mendapatkan pelatihan lagi untuk memperdalam pengetahuan tentang bisnis secara online.

Abstract

Objectives - The purpose of this paper is to examine the philosophical aspects, namely the construction of organizational culture which has been the concern of scientists in the fields of human resource management, psychology, and anthropology. Design/methodology/approach – This paper uses a literature study approach by mapping previous research related to organizational culture in articles, Scopus indexed journals and Google Scholar over the last five decades. Findings – The antecedents of organizational culture can come from internal factors and external factors such as a sense of achievement and company policies. From the organizational culture are organizational performance, job satisfaction, job performance, and company strategy. Originality – The purpose of this paper is to propose a schematic research model that shows the influence of organizational culture on organizational performance can be moderated by the gender diversity of employees. Abstract

The Leather Craft MSME Group in Mojopurna Village, Magetan, is a community service partner fostered by the Creative Economy Research Group at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FEB UNS). To date, the group has encountered several challenges, including low tax awareness among MSMEs and limited product differentiation. The low level of tax compliance is primarily caused by the owners’ limited knowledge and capability in understanding tax regulations and practices, ranging from taxpayer identification number (NPWP) registration to tax reporting and payment procedures. In addition, product innovation development has remained limited because most production activities are based solely on customer orders, coupled with reluctance to develop new models due to risk considerations and the need for new equipment. Consequently, the competitiveness of the leather craft MSMEs in Mojopurna Village, Magetan, has not yet reached its optimal level.  This community service program aims to improve MSME tax literacy and compliance through taxation training. The training activities included the delivery of taxation materials, tax calculation practices, and mentoring sessions. Furthermore, the provision of assistance with production equipment represents a commitment to supporting product innovation among MSMEs. The program's results indicate improved tax literacy, particularly in understanding the types and calculation methods of the MSME Final Income Tax (PPh Final). In addition, production facility support, in the form of a flat heat press machine, contributed to product innovation and enhanced the business capacity of the partner MSMEs through product diversification in accordance with market demand.
