Abstract

The quality of guidance and counseling (GC) services in evaluating the GC program at the private high school Budi Satrya has become the focus of this research. Evaluating the GC program is essential to measure the efficiency, effectiveness, and success of the GC staff in implementing the program. The research results are expected to contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of education, especially in enhancing the quality of GC services in evaluating the GC program.The research findings indicate that the average score of students on the evaluation of the GC program is 84 out of the ideal score of 98. The highest score reached 98, while the lowest score was 62. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive and statistical data analysis, with data collection through questionnaires filled out by 11th-grade students majoring in science. This research provides insights into the extent to which the GC program at the private high school Budi Satrya has successfully achieved its goals, and this has significant implications for improving the quality of GC services in the school.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role and position of the KUA when submitting an annulment of a marriage due to falsification of identity in the decision 2856/Pdt.G/2022/PA. Mdn. Where usually those who file lawsuits for annulment of marriages are husbands, wives or relatives who get married because there are parties who feel cheated. What is unique is the decision number 2856/Pdt.G/2022/PA. Mdn. is that the plaintiff filing a lawsuit for annulment of the marriage is the KUA itself. This research is a normative juridical research, with a statutory and conceptual approach. The results of the study described that the KUA was less thorough in examining the identity documents of the prospective bride and groom. And the KUA also filed a lawsuit for annulment of the marriage to the Religious Court, even though juridically it is very permissible. So that the role and functions of the KUA are really needed which can actually be carried out according to the applicable procedures, namely to help carry out some of the district ministry of religion offices in the field of Islam in the sub-district area. This study concluded that the head of the KUA made a mistake and filed a lawsuit for annulment of his marriage to the Medan Religious Court. Juridically, this is perfectly permissible. however, this is a very unique and rare occurrence. And the steps of the KUA in submitting the application are correct, here the KUA as a marriage registrar, issues a marriage book, supervises marriages in accordance with Article 1 PERMA No. 19 of 2018 concerning registration of marriages.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak program bimbingan dan konseling (BK) terhadap pengurangan pelanggaran kedisiplinan siswa di MAN 2 Model Medan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, data dianalisis melalui teknik statistik deskriptif untuk menilai efektivitas layanan BK dalam menjawab kebutuhan siswa. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan program BK yang terstruktur, dengan fokus pada mediasi dan tutorial, secara signifikan menekan tingkat pelanggaran disiplin. Evaluasi berkala terhadap pelaksanaan program mengungkapkan bahwa peran guru BK dalam memberikan bimbingan telah terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat berbasis moderasi beragama ini penting dilaksanakan karena masih banyak masyarakat yang belum memahami konsep moderasi beragama secara utuh. Bahkan masih tabu dengan pemahaman umat beragama lain sehingga sering kali memicu konflik beragama yang dapat terjadi akibat kesalahpahaman dan intoleransi. Terciptanya masyarakat yang moderat dan toleran merupakan kunci mewujudkan masyarakat yang maju dan sejahtera. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Reseach(PAR), dimana masyarakat ikut berperan serta didalamnya. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah terbentuknya Rumah Moderasi Beragama yang memiliki program-program keagamaan berdasarkan kearifan lokal. Pengabdian masyarakat ini juga membuka pola pikir masyarakat tentang persamaan dan persaudaraan yang harus dijaga.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the factors behind the ban on marriage for prospective brides who are still in education and (2) find out the analysis of sharia maqashid related to the ban on marriage while still in the study period. This study was designed with qualitative methods to be able to explain in detail about the prohibition of marriage while still in education. This research is a type of field research that takes references from books whose subjects prohibit marriage. While the object of this study is the bride and groom who are prohibited from marrying while still in education. To collect data, researchers use reading techniques and then record the results. While the analysis technique is descriptive. The results of this study are: The ban on marriage made by parents is only temporary and not eternal, so it is in accordance with the order of Maqashid Sharia, namely hifz aqli (maintaining reason / science) both religious science (ukhrawi) and knowledge (worldly) obtained by learning the main. With Science will be fulfilled another primary need. Seeking knowledge in Islam is compulsory for every Muslim, it is contained in the Qur'an and Hadith. Then the background of the ban on marriage for brides who are in the study or education period, one of the factors is the concern of the elderly about the future of their children, the economy, social norms and factors of the development of the times and technology that is growing rapidly.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the issue of delays and absenteeism among students at SMK Negeri 3 Bungo, which is largely influenced by excessive gadget use, especially for social media and online games. Uncontrolled gadget usage leads to sleep problems, stress, and concentration issues that affect attendance and punctuality. This research aims to observe the impact of gadget use on mental health at SMK Negeri 3 Bungo. This study employs a descriptive quantitative method to determine whether there is a causal relationship between gadget use and mental health at SMK Negeri 3 Bungo. The scale used is the ordinal scale, with the sample consisting of class X.TAV students from SMK Negeri 3 Bungo, selected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Data collection was done using questionnaires, and data analysis was performed using hypothesis testing or ANOVA. The research results show that gadget use has an impact on mental health at SMK Negeri 3 Bungo. The calculated t-value for the gadget use variable is 6.249, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.690, indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This means, "There is an impact of gadget use on mental health at SMK Negeri 3 Bungo."

Abstract

BackgroundInvasive breast carcinoma (IBC) is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in woman in the world and Indonesia. IBC is classified into two main categories: IBC of no special type (NST) and special types. This retrospective study aims to provide histomorphological profile of mastectomy cases of IBC in Anatomical Pathology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital (PA FKUI/RSCM) 2016-2019.MethodsThis is a descriptive research with cross-sectional design of mastectomy cases, using secondary data from the archives of PA FKUI/RSCM, starting from 2016- 2019. Collecting clinical data as well as observing several histopathologic parameters including histological type, grade, atypical mitotic features, lymphovascular invasion, and lymph node metastases. Tumour classification was made based on the WHO breast criteria in 2019.ResultsDuring the 2016-2019 period there were 144 cases of IBC. 99.3% of cases occurred in female patients, mostly in the age group from 40 to 59 years and unilateral. The majority had tumour sizes ranging >2-5 cm and were stage II. About a third of cases had received neoadjuvant chemotherapy, most commonly in advanced local stage tumors. Most histologic type (65.3%) were IBC of NST and 52.8% of cases were grade 2. There were 92 (63.4%) cases with atypical mitotic features, most commonly found in stage III. Lymphovascular invasion was found in 38.9% of cases and lymph node metastasis was found in 63.2% of cases.ConclusionIBC is the most common cancer in woman, with the most common histologic type were IBC, grade 2, stage II or more. Most of the cases show atypical mitosis, which is most commonly found in stage III. The findings of lymphovascular invasion did not always coincide with the findings of lymph node metastases.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Balai Kasih bertujuan memberdayakan masyarakat melalui pemanfaatan minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aromaterapi. Program ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan warga, menumbuhkan inovasi produk lokal, serta membuka peluang usaha kreatif berbasis ekonomi sirkular. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui observasi, perencanaan, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan melibatkan lebih dari 50 peserta, terutama ibu rumah tangga dan pemuda desa. Hasil menunjukkan keberhasilan mengolah 20 liter minyak jelantah menjadi 60 lilin aromaterapi, ditambah 30 lilin demonstrasi yang disiapkan tim pengabdi. Lebih dari 80% peserta menyatakan komitmen melanjutkan produksi mandiri, dengan estimasi tambahan penghasilan hingga Rp3.000.000 per bulan apabila kegiatan berlanjut secara konsisten. Simpulan kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan sederhana berbasis limbah rumah tangga efektif meningkatkan keterampilan, kesadaran ekologis, serta peluang ekonomi, meskipun keberlanjutan masih membutuhkan dukungan alat dan akses pasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the third semester agriculture students’ ability to write simple sentences using simple past tense at Taman Siswa University Padang. This research was limited in three sentence forms; affirmative, negative and interrogative. Descriptive research was used in this study where the population was the third semester agriculture students at Taman Siswa University of Padang. The total number of the sample was 63 students. The finding showed that the ability of the third semester agriculture students of Taman Siswa University of Padang to write simple sentences using simple past tense was moderate. It could be seen that 70.97% students have moderate ability. In detail the percentages of each of form sentence were; 64.52% have moderate ability to write simple sentences in simple past tense of (verbal) affirmative, 74.20% have moderate ability to write simple sentences in simple past tense of (verbal) negative sentences, and 77.42% have moderate ability to write simple sentences in simple past tense of (verbal) interrogative sentences. Based on the research finding, it is suggested to the teachers to give more explanation about past tense and explain the usage of mechanics.  The students are suggested to learn more about past tense and use mechanics correctly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the results of the evaluation of the implementation of information services using various media of Guidance and Counseling at MTsN 2 Medan. Information services are one of the types of services in guidance and counseling. The use of media in the implementation of information services aims to help guidance and counseling teachers get students' attention and facilitate the delivery of service materials clearly, accurately, and comprehensively. This research was conducted using a quantitative method with a descriptive statistical analysis process to obtain the average score, maximum value, and minimum value, which indicate the evaluation results of information services using media of guidance and counseling. The findings of this study reveal that the implementation of information services with media of guidance and counseling at MTsN 2 Medan is quite good, with 11 respondents believing that the information services using media of guidance and counseling were well implemented and 20 respondents believing that the information services using media of guidance and counseling were implemented fairly well. With evaluation results showing a positive direction, guidance and counseling teachers can further enhance guidance and counseling services by visiting classrooms weekly to meet students' specific information needs. The implementation of information services with media of guidance and counseling that is appropriate for the student's circumstances such as personal, social, learning and career, as well as the use of varied BK media and clear materials is very helpful for students.
