Abstract

The heart is one of the most vital human organs that acts as a blood-pumping tool to supply oxygen and essential nutrients throughout the human body. Abnormalities in the heart greatly affect the work of the heart which results in the heart not being able to carry out its duties properly. Heart defect is one of the most common causes of death in many countries, including Indonesia. Electrocardiogram (ECG) is one of the most important examination models used to diagnose various abnormal heart rhythms. An ECG records the electrical activity of the heart by showing waveforms on a monitor or printing them on paper to classify cardiac abnormalities from the electrocardiogram image using image processing and artificial neural networks. The method used for the classification is the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and using the Chain code to take the value of the ECG feature. There were 92 ECG images to be used which were partitioned to 70 images for training data 22 images for test data with 3 types of abnormalities, namely coronary heart disease, angina, and myocardial infarction. The test was carried out using 4 choices of ANFIS functions. The parameters used to classify coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, and myocardial infarction reached 95.23% (DR), and 29.41% (DER), using the GBell function with the number of MFs (3) and epoch (100).

Abstract

Glioma as one of the most common types of brain tumor in the world has three different classes based on its cell types. They are astrocytoma, ependymoma, oligodendroglioma, each has different characteristics depending on the location and malignance level. Radiological examination by medical personnel is still carried out manually using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) medical imaging. Brain structure, size, and various forms of tumors increase the level of difficulty in classifying gliomas. It is advisable to apply a method that can conduct gliomas classification through medical images. The proposed methods were proposed for this study using deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) for classification with k-means segmentation and contrast enhancement. The results show the effectiveness of the proposed methods with an accuracy of 95.5%.

Abstract

The need for public parking space is increasing nowadays due to the high number of cars available.  Users of car parking services, in general, are still looking for vacant parking locations to park their vehicle manually. With the current technological developments, especially in image processing field, it is expected to solve the parking space problem. Therefore, this research implements image processing to determine the location of vacant parking space or occupied ones that run in real-time. In this study, the proposed method is divided into five stages. The first stage is image acquisition to capture the image of parking location. Then it continues to pre-processing stage which consists of the process of saturation, grayscale and thresholding. The third stage is image segmentation to cut the image into five parts. The next stage is feature extraction using invariant moment, and the last stage would be identification process to determine the location of vacant parking spaces or occupied ones. The results of this research using 100 test images generates an accuracy, recall, and precision of 94%.

Abstract

Desa Perbulan, Kecamatan Lau Baleng, Kabupaten Karo, Provinsi Sumatra Utara membutuhkan kehadiran perguruan tinggi dalam meningkatkan kualitas kinerja dan pelayanan perangkat desa terhadap masyarakatnya. Dimana dewasa ini seluruh aktifitas pekerjaan sudah menggunakan komputer yang tentunya memudahkan dan menghemat biaya dan waktu dalam setiap pekerjaan, namu di Desa Perbulan Kab. Karo masih minim penggunaan kumputer dan sistem komputer dalam melayani masyarakat yang berakibat labatnya setiap proses administrasi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat kepada pemerintahan desa. Tentutnya kondisi ini sangat merugikan masyarakat dimana masyarakat harus meniggalakan pekerjaan berhari-hari hanya demi mengurus selembar surat di kantor desa. Dari msalah ini kami menawarkan pembangunan Sistem Informasi Manajeman Desa untuk memudahkan seluruh pekerjaan perangkat desa untuk melayanin masyarakan desa, dimana sistem yang akan dibangun berbasis web yang akan di online-kan dan dapat di akses oleh seluruh masyarakat yang akan menghasilkan transparansi pemerintah desa terhadap mesyarakat dan akan menghasilkan kepercayaan masyarakat terhapat pemerintahan desa

Abstract

Mangrove plants are one of the plants that really help aquatic ecosystems between the sea, coast, and land. Mangrove plants provide many ecological, social, and economic benefits. In Indonesia, mangrove plants have 202 species with the same anatomy as other plants in general, consisting of roots, fruits, stems and leaves. Nowadays, the location of mangrove plants in Indonesia has experienced the fastest damage in the world due to conversion to ponds, settlements, industry and plantations. One of the efforts to restore aesthetic value and restore the ecological function of mangrove forest areas is rehabilitation using mangrove fruit. In the rehabilitation process, farmers generally use the manual method with the naked eye to determine fruit ripeness on mangrove plants, so the resulting level of accuracy is not optimal. To overcome this problem, an application is needed that can facilitate farmers in determining fruit maturity in mangrove plants so that it can help determine the maturity level of mangrove fruit. The development of this application utilizes the Deep Learning method as well as the utilization of digital image processing techniques with Grayscaling, Adaptive Threshold, Sharpening and Smoothing techniques. The results of this study are an application that can detect the level of fruit maturity in mangrove plants with an accuracy of 99.11%. With this application, determining the maturity level of fruit on mangrove plants can be easily done.

Abstract

Based on the results of the analysis and design that has been carried out regarding the study of electronic-based North Sumatra KUMKM community development analysis (E-Community KUMKM North Sumatra), a conclusion can be drawn as follows, namely the results of the design using the Object Oriented Analysis Design (OOAD) method, all interfaces are designed very interactive so as to facilitate implementation in the system. Using UML as a visualization medium for system design can make the designed model closer to reality. So as to facilitate the development of the system and its application. Based on the results of the analysis using the Performance, information, economic, control, efficiency, service (PIECES) method, the limitations in marketing the results of North Sumatra KUMKM can be solved using information technology, namely the web-based KUMKM E-Community system.

Abstract

IOT design and connecting between devices has been developed in recent years. Connection between device has been done from using Bluetooth, internet thru api, restfull api, socket, websocket, mttq and many others method. Api and socket is the most used method in connecting IOT devices. This reasearch tends to implement the websocket in connecting and controlling IOT devices. From the application of this research, the devices can be connected and implement with high speed of average 700ms with loaded netword. According to the results of the test, number of loads and data size can increase the time duration for each communication between IOT devices and websocket server. The larger the data, the more possible the anomaly may accured where the number of connections will experience lagging in command execution between the IOT devices and the controller The bidirectional connection in websocket make the data exchange posibbly fast.

Abstract

Data processing in the field of machine learning and its application to environment is still an interesting field until now. It is because there have been a lot of research related to computer science and agriculture especially mangroves, so there are still many research gaps that can be executed in the future. The long-term goal of this research is to apply machine learning techniques to the data and problem domains of mangrove plants. This study aims to obtain a classification of three classes of mangrove sprouts, namely: Avicennia Marina, Sonneratia Caseolaris and Ceriops Tagal, using the Multi Layer Perceptron (MLP) method, where MLP is one of the methods in the field of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. The results of this study are using the number of neurons in the hidden layer more than the number of neurons in the input layer resulting in an optimal accuracy value at the 1000th epoch with an accuracy value of 97.7% for data testing, and an accuracy value of 99% for testing data. Abstract

The design of the Solar Panel Test Simulator by means of setting the solar panel placement stand so that the designed tool is able to provide a simulation of solar panel measurements based on actual conditions. The performance of the solar panels is shown through a monitor display placed on the design that will contain information about the solar panels as a whole. Limitations in placing the position of the solar panel will not provide a reference regarding measurement conditions based on the angle of incidence of the sun, so it is necessary to do further design regarding the position of the solar panel when the measurement is carried out. The development carried out in the design of this tool is in the form of setting the solar panel mount in the form of a solar panel mount tilt of 450, 900, 1350, and the distance of the halogen lamp 30cm as the energy source is measured. The measurement results are based on an average design temperature difference of 0.49% with a voltage of 1.55%.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi merupakan salah satu kebutuhan utama dalam masyarakat saat ini, terutama di sekolah. Website sekolah merupakan suatu aplikasi informasi yang memiliki banyak dampak positif. Selain sebagai fasilitas untuk dunia pendidikan serta media informasi terbaru dari suatu sekolah, website sekolah juga dapat memberikan gambaran profesionalisme sebuah sekolah dan dapat menjadikannya sebagai media promosi sekolah tersebut. Sekolah Menengah Atas Al-Hikmah sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berperan membentuk karekter dan kepribadian generasi penerus bangsa diharapkan mampu untuk meningkatkan kredibilitas sekolah dalam dunia pendidikan. Sampai saat ini informasi tentang sekolah seperti profil sekolah, struktur organisasi sekolah, fasilitas sekolah, prestasi sekolah, maupun informasi kelulusan siswa, dan pengumuman-pengumuman terbaru masih terdata secara manual dalam lingkup internal sekolah, sehingga masyarakat luas sulit untuk mendapatkan informasi terkait sekolah. Para wali siswa maupun calon wali siswa masih harus datang langsung ke sekolah untuk mengetahui informasi terbaru dari SMA Al-Hikmah. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pengelola, sekolah sebagai sarana memberikan informasi secara sistematis. Metode yang diterapkan adalah dengan pendekatan User Centered Design dan target yang ingin dicapai adalah tersedianya sarana informasi berbasis web yang dapat digunakan dengan baik untuk meningkatkan kredibilitas sekolah serta menjadikan media promosi bagi SMA AL-Hikmah.
